work_n they_o seclude_v believe_v and_o establish_v work_v and_o for_o the_o gospel_n place_v the_o law_n the_o second_o opinion_n be_v of_o those_o who_o in_o justification_n make_v god_n to_o be_v the_o justifier_n and_o that_o of_o his_o grace_n and_o that_o by_o faith_n but_o as_o our_o work_n of_o our_o free_a will_n yet_o not_o of_o the_o law_n but_o of_o the_o gospel_n seclude_v christ_n and_o his_o obedience_n whole_o from_o our_o righteousness_n as_o likewise_o the_o law_n and_o the_o work_v thereof_o so_o they_o give_v to_o god_n the_o work_n of_o justify_v but_o the_o matter_n of_o their_o righteousness_n they_o whole_o ascribe_v to_o their_o own_o work_n and_o act_n in_o believe_v and_o place_n grace_n in_o nothing_o but_o in_o god_n gracious_a accept_n of_o man_n imperfect_a faith_n in_o place_n of_o the_o perfect_a righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n and_o attribute_n unto_o the_o merit_n of_o christ_n obedience_n this_o gracious_a acceptation_n of_o our_o faith_n as_o though_o he_o have_v die_v and_o suffer_v not_o for_o our_o justification_n but_o to_o merit_v and_o obtain_v at_o god_n hand_n that_o our_o own_o work_n of_o believe_a shall_v be_v gracious_o accept_v as_o perfect_a righteousness_n albeit_o in_o itself_o imperfect_a and_o where_o they_o may_v seem_v to_o agree_v with_o the_o papist_n in_o asscribe_v righteousness_n to_o their_o righteousness_n in_o the_o obedience_n of_o christ_n seclude_v all_o work_n of_o man_n either_o of_o the_o law_n or_o of_o the_o gospel_n and_o acknowledge_v the_o grace_n of_o god_n to_o be_v the_o only_a cause_n move_v god_n to_o justify_v we_o by_o christ_n obedience_n as_o likewise_o of_o the_o give_v of_o we_o faith_n to_o apprehend_v it_o and_o this_o opinion_n only_o agree_v with_o the_o mark_v careful_o the_o word_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n unto_o daniel_n chap._n 9_o vers_fw-la 24._o in_o the_o which_o a_o appeinted_a time_n be_v set_v down_o for_o the_o finish_n of_o wickedness_n the_o seal_n up_o of_o sin_n the_o reconcile_n of_o iniquity_n and_o bring_v in_o of_o everlasting_a righteousness_n in_o the_o world_n thereby_o show_v we_o that_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o faith_n can_v be_v the_o material_a righteousness_n of_o god_n whereby_o we_o be_v justify_v for_o then_o this_o everlasting_a righteousness_n shall_v have_v be_v in_o the_o world_n before_o christ_n come_v into_o the_o world_n and_o so_o shall_v not_o have_v be_v bring_v in_o by_o he_o for_o faith_n be_v in_o the_o world_n from_o the_o day_n of_o adam_n therefore_o say_v the_o spirit_n be_v man_n own_o but_o god_n because_o it_o be_v not_o in_o the_o power_n of_o man_n by_o all_o that_o he_o be_v according_a to_o nature_n ever_o to_o attain_v to_o the_o possession_n of_o it_o but_o instrument_n and_o only_o convenient_a and_o effectual_a mean_n whereby_o to_o apprehend_v and_o possess_v attain_v to_o the_o possession_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n even_o so_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n impute_v faith_n to_o we_o as_o our_o own_o to_o this_o end_n that_o the_o righteousness_n which_o we_o possess_v

also_o of_o the_o imputation_n of_o god_n touch_v the_o gift_n they_o be_v either_o such_o as_o be_v natuall_a give_v by_o god_n indifferent_o to_o all_o &_o be_v belong_v to_o our_o natural_a life_n or_o they_o they_o be_v gift_n supernatural_a belong_v to_o a_o supernatural_a life_n the_o first_o sort_n the_o lord_n give_v by_o natural_a mean_n as_o by_o procreation_n by_o natural_a generation_n and_o by_o his_o general_a providence_n extend_v over_o all_o but_o the_o second_o he_o give_v not_o but_o by_o special_a grace_n and_o by_o a_o special_a providence_n and_o particular_a love_n in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n there_o be_v no_o ground_n nor_o cause_n in_o they_o to_o who_o he_o give_v they_o why_o they_o shall_v have_v they_o nor_o any_o mean_n in_o their_o power_n to_o procure_v they_o thus_o faith_n and_o christ_n by_o faith_n be_v give_v we_o of_o god_n not_o for_o any_o worthiness_n in_o we_o nor_o for_o any_o thing_n give_v to_o god_n by_o we_o but_o the_o lord_n give_v we_o will_v have_v a_o man_n formalie_n just_a before_o he_o be_v justify_v touch_v that_o which_o he_o be_v by_o grace_n it_o be_v in_o many_o part_n of_o the_o scripture_n evident_o declare_v that_o he_o must_v believe_v before_o he_o be_v justify_v that_o be_v must_v have_v faith_n wrought_v in_o his_o heart_n in_o that_o sort_n that_o he_o may_v be_v justify_v for_o like_a as_o act_n 14._o it_o be_v
