be_v not_o this_o do_v when_o king_n james_n come_v to_o ireland_n and_o be_v at_o the_o head_n of_o a_o irish_a army_n the_o reason_n that_o induce_v he_o to_o delay_v it_o be_v here_o plain_a he_o be_v afraid_a it_o may_v alienate_v the_o affection_n of_o the_o protestant_n in_o england_n from_o give_v a_o help_a hand_n towards_o his_o restoration_n he_o do_v not_o delay_v it_o upon_o the_o account_n of_o the_o unjustness_n of_o the_o thing_n itself_o it_o be_v from_o another_o principle_n even_o that_o of_o politic_n lest_o the_o protestant_n of_o england_n shall_v be_v too_o much_o alarm_v with_o it_o thus_o king_n james_n and_o his_o popish_a clergy_n must_v have_v very_o low_a thought_n of_o the_o wit_n and_o sense_n of_o the_o protestant_n of_o england_n to_o think_v they_o can_v be_v so_o easy_o cheat_v with_o such_o silly_a bait_n and_o can_v be_v hook_a in_o by_o so_o weak_a pretence_n no_o sure_o they_o can_v not_o be_v so_o shortsighted_a as_o not_o to_o see_v through_o these_o cobweb_n of_o romish_a politic_n and_o they_o have_v too_o many_o hint_n of_o their_o design_n not_o to_o be_v ignorant_a what_o be_v real_o at_o the_o bottom_n of_o they_o but_o it_o seem_v at_o the_o give_v in_o of_o this_o memorial_n the_o romish_a clergy_n be_v become_v of_o another_o opinion_n they_o think_v it_o not_o worth_a their_o while_n to_o dissemble_v any_o long_o but_o that_o it_o be_v absolute_o fit_a to_o fall_v to_o work_v without_o any_o further_a ceremony_n they_o tell_v king_n james_n positive_o that_o it_o be_v altogether_o needless_a to_o humour_v the_o protestant_n in_o concern_v of_o this_o nature_n that_o all_o the_o return_n they_o make_v to_o his_o and_o his_o predecessor_n kindness_n and_o indulgence_n to_o they_o be_v to_o invite_v a_o foreign_a power_n to_o invade_v his_o throne_n here_o we_o be_v express_o tell_v that_o all_o the_o late_a king_n kindness_n to_o the_o protestant_n be_v only_o to_o humour_v they_o that_o be_v to_o lay_v they_o asleep_o with_o his_o caress_n till_o it_o be_v time_n to_o give_v the_o blow_n by_o restore_v the_o roman-catholick_n religion_n and_o the_o roman-catholick_n clergy_n to_o their_o church_n live_n etc._n etc._n but_o this_o be_v not_o all_o these_o gentleman_n tell_v we_o by_o way_n of_o a_o inuendo_fw-la that_o all_o the_o privilege_n the_o protestant_n enjoy_v by_o the_o law_n of_o the_o kingdom_n be_v indeed_o no_o more_o but_o king_n james_n and_o his_o predecessor_n their_n manifold_a condescension_n and_o indulgence_n to_o they_o so_o that_o instead_o of_o law_n for_o the_o security_n of_o our_o religion_n we_o be_v in_o the_o opinion_n of_o the_o romish_a clergy_n oblige_v only_o to_o the_o condescension_n of_o our_o king_n for_o our_o peaceable_a enjoyment_n of_o it_o and_o as_o all_o favour_n may_v be_v revoke_v upon_o the_o ingratitude_n of_o they_o on_o who_o they_o be_v bestow_v so_o consequent_o may_v all_o the_o liberty_n and_o privilege_n of_o the_o protestant_n of_o england_n be_v recall_v in_o the_o sense_n of_o this_o memorial_n because_o of_o the_o bad_a return_n they_o make_v that_o king_n for_o they_o i_o know_v no_o reason_n why_o they_o here_o take_v in_o king_n james_n royal_a predecessor_n unless_o it_o be_v to_o insinuate_v something_o against_o the_o memory_n of_o king_n charles_n ii_o as_o if_o he_o and_o king_n james_n have_v be_v upon_o the_o same_o bottom_n as_o to_o their_o condescension_n and_o indulgence_n to_o the_o protestant_n and_o therein_o both_o of_o one_o religion_n which_o how_o true_a we_o must_v refer_v to_o the_o great_a day_n when_o all_o hide_a thing_n shall_v be_v lay_v open_a as_o in_o the_o former_a part_n of_o this_o paragraph_n the_o giver_n in_o of_o this_o memorial_n derogate_a from_o the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o whole_a protestant_n of_o england_n in_o be_v cheat_v with_o their_o silly_a bait_n so_o in_o the_o last_o word_n of_o the_o period_n above_o mention_v they_o fall_v foul_a upon_o the_o honesty_n of_o those_o protestant_n that_o be_v upon_o king_n james_n side_n as_o if_o they_o will_v not_o be_v displease_v or_o grudge_n at_o the_o re-establishment_n of_o the_o romish_a religion_n and_o clergy_n in_o ireland_n but_o that_o notwithstanding_o thereof_o they_o will_v continue_v to_o cooperate_v to_o his_o restoration_n i_o be_o not_o concern_v to_o answer_v for_o the_o protestant_a jacobite_n in_o england_n here_o they_o have_v a_o charge_n lay_v to_o their_o door_n by_o other_o engage_v in_o the_o same_o bottom_n with_o themselves_o and_o how_o true_a the_o charge_n be_v they_o and_o their_o own_o conscience_n know_v best_a i_o shall_v only_o say_v if_o it_o be_v so_o as_o be_v here_o insinuate_v then_o it_o be_v no_o wonder_n they_o shall_v be_v the_o horror_n and_o hatred_n of_o all_o good_a men._n memorial_n sir_n now_o be_v the_o true_a time_n for_o your_o majesty_n to_o accomplish_v that_o glorious_a work_n it_o be_v not_o likely_a that_o hereafter_o any_o more_o easy_a or_o better_a opportunity_n will_v happen_v for_o it_o than_o whilst_o we_o have_v the_o happy_a enjoyment_n of_o your_o majesty_n presence_n among_o we_o for_o it_o be_v reasonable_o to_o be_v apprehend_v that_o the_o difficulty_n to_o be_v surmount_v in_o so_o godly_a a_o design_n will_v rather_o be_v increase_v than_o diminish_v by_o the_o continual_a suggestion_n of_o our_o adversary_n against_o we_o to_o your_o majesty_n when_o restore_v to_o your_o throne_n in_o england_n furthermore_o the_o very_a protestant_n themselves_o can_v in_o their_o heart_n choose_v but_o applaud_v and_o judge_v it_o in_o the_o main_a to_o be_v a_o necessary_a effect_n of_o royal_a bounty_n and_o justice_n that_o those_o live_n church_n and_o prerogative_n which_o be_v take_v away_o from_o the_o roman-catholick_n clergy_n by_o protestant_a king_n and_o parliament_n shall_v now_o after_o so_o many_o year_n suffering_n be_v restore_v back_o unto_o they_o by_o a_o roman-catholick_n king_n with_o the_o concurrence_n of_o a_o roman-catholick_n parliament_n be_v it_o for_o no_o other_o motive_n than_o to_o gratify_v your_o roman-catholick_n subject_n of_o this_o kingdom_n who_o have_v so_o eminent_o signalise_v their_o loyalty_n allegiance_n and_o constant_a good_a zeal_n to_o assert_v with_o their_o life_n and_o fortune_n your_o majesty_n right_n in_o a_o time_n when_o protestant_n and_o sectary_n nay_o also_o the_o chief_a and_o most_o part_n of_o the_o protestant_a clergy_n do_v not_o stick_v to_o stir_v up_o and_o bring_v in_o a_o invasion_n and_o join_v hand_n with_o your_o enemy_n against_o you._n reflection_n in_o the_o begin_n of_o this_o paragraph_n they_o seem_v unwilling_o to_o tax_v the_o protestant_n that_o be_v on_o king_n james_n side_n with_o what_o be_v indeed_o no_o crime_n but_o a_o duty_n viz._n their_o suggestion_n to_o he_o in_o case_n of_o his_o restoration_n against_o so_o godly_a a_o work_n as_o the_o restore_n the_o romish_a religion_n and_o clergy_n i_o confess_v this_o be_v a_o compliment_n some_o of_o they_o do_v scarce_o deserve_v and_o which_o be_v express_o contradict_v by_o what_o be_v say_v in_o the_o former_a part_n of_o this_o same_o memorial_n in_o that_o that_o they_o will_v not_o be_v displease_v nor_o grudge_n at_o the_o re-establishment_n of_o the_o romish_a religion_n and_o clergy_n in_o ireland_n and_o it_o be_v a_o question_n which_o of_o the_o two_o insinuation_n be_v most_o natural_a and_o most_o consequential_a to_o the_o principle_n and_o practice_n of_o the_o protestant_a jacobite_n what_o a_o ridiculous_a piece_n of_o stuff_n be_v this_o that_o the_o protestant_n themselves_o will_v applaud_v in_o the_o main_a that_o necessary_a effect_n of_o royal_a bounty_n in_o a_o roman_a catholic_n king_n be_v restore_a back_n to_o the_o roman_a catholic_n what_o a_o protestant_a king_n and_o parliament_n have_v take_v from_o they_o in_o ireland_n at_o the_o same_o rate_n and_o by_o the_o same_o parity_n of_o reason_n what_o a_o protestant_a king_n and_o parliament_n have_v take_v away_o from_o the_o roman-catholic_n in_o england_n shall_v be_v now_o restore_v they_o by_o a_o roman-catholick_n king_n when_o he_o come_v back_o to_o the_o throne_n of_o england_n indeed_o we_o have_v no_o reason_n to_o doubt_v but_o as_o the_o reason_n be_v the_o same_o so_o the_o manner_n of_o act_v will_v be_v the_o same_o in_o both_o kingdom_n which_o be_v fair_o enough_o hint_v in_o the_o word_n themselves_o how_o eminent_o they_o have_v signalise_v their_o loyalty_n and_o allegiance_n to_o king_n james_n in_o this_o juncture_n their_o bravery_n and_o inimitable_a courage_n have_v evidence_v with_o a_o witness_n the_o truth_n be_v it_o be_v hard_a to_o say_v whether_o king_n james_n be_v less_o oblige_v to_o the_o valour_n of_o the_o irish_a or_o they_o to_o his_o conduct_n i_o be_o of_o opinion_n they_o will_v not_o be_v willing_a to_o try_v their_o fortune_n
