may_v make_v their_o deputy_n or_o lieutenant_n to_o execute_v their_o office_n and_o place_n ca._n the_o justice_n of_o the_o forest_n may_v make_v a_o deputy_n by_o the_o statute_n of_o 32._o h._n 8._o ca._n and_o so_o can_v other_o justice_n in_o eyer_n do_v but_o that_o be_v by_o reason_n of_o the_o statute_n of_o 32._o of_o king_n henry_n the_o 8._o for_o before_o the_o make_n of_o that_o statute_n it_o seem_v that_o the_o justice_n of_o the_o forest_n can_v not_o make_v a_o deputy_n or_o lieutenant_n to_o execute_v their_o place_n or_o office_n for_o as_o much_o as_o the_o same_o be_v a_o judicial_a place_n of_o authority_n and_o if_o the_o king_n which_o have_v a_o forest_n with_o all_o the_o incidentes_fw-la unto_o the_o same_o &_o he_o do_v grant_v the_o same_o unto_o any_o grauntée_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a by_o the_o same_o grant_n may_v have_v forester_n agister_n and_o woodwardes_n for_o the_o safe_a keep_v of_o his_o vert_fw-fr and_o venison_n as_o it_o do_v appear_v by_o master_n hesket_n in_o his_o learned_a read_n of_o the_o law_n of_o the_o forest_n man_n a_o forest_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o king_n but_o a_o chase_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o another_o man_n foe_z 7._o but_o if_o such_o a_o grauntée_n chance_n to_o have_v any_o trespass_n do_v in_o his_o forest_n by_o offender_n in_o the_o same_o he_o may_v very_o well_o have_v his_o remedy_n against_o they_o by_o a_o action_n at_o the_o common_a law_n and_o so_o the_o common_a law_n have_v not_o leave_v such_o a_o grauntee_fw-mi unprovided_a of_o his_o remedy_n against_o such_o offender_n and_o because_o that_o such_o a_o grauntée_n do_v want_n some_o part_n of_o the_o authority_n of_o a_o forest_n by_o such_o a_o grant_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a difference_n a_o forest_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o king_n may_v be_v a_o forest_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o another_o by_o the_o king_n especial_a grant_n note_v the_o difference_n therefore_o the_o same_o forest_n be_v not_o proper_o a_o forest_n in_o deed_n but_o rather_o a_o chase_n be_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o such_o a_o grauntee_fw-mi and_o yet_o the_o same_o be_v a_o forest_n in_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o king_n but_o if_o the_o king_n by_o affore_v the_o land_n and_o wood_n of_o diverse_a person_n which_o be_v not_o the_o king_n own_o demean_v wood_n as_o it_o do_v appear_v by_o the_o first_o article_n of_o this_o statute_n and_o all_o those_o be_v there_o appoint_v to_o be_v dissafore_v again_o and_o so_o to_o be_v put_v clean_o out_o of_o the_o forest_n now_o this_o second_o branch_n or_o article_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o especial_a provision_n thief_o for_o they_o that_o then_o be_v dweller_n in_o those_o place_n which_o some_o time_n be_v within_o the_o forest_n and_o yet_o by_o this_o statute_n put_v out_o of_o the_o forest_n that_o they_o be_v out_o of_o the_o bound_n of_o the_o forest_n shall_v not_o be_v compel_v to_o come_v before_o the_o justice_n of_o the_o forest_n at_o their_o general_a session_n by_o this_o general_a summons_n as_o they_o be_v wont_a to_o do_v unless_o that_o they_o be_v pledge_n for_o same_o other_o person_n that_o be_v a_o offender_n or_o that_o they_o be_v there_o implead_v for_o any_o plea_n of_o the_o forest_n or_o that_o they_o be_v attach_v by_o any_o minister_n of_o the_o forest_n to_o appear_v before_o the_o justice_n for_o the_o same_o offence_n of_o come_v to_o distrain_v for_o such_o a_o amercement_n in_o the_o forest_n and_o the_o owner_n of_o the_o same_o good_n which_o be_v to_o be_v distrain_v know_v thereof_o by_o covine_n do_v come_v before_o that_o the_o say_v bedell_n or_o other_o officer_n have_v distrain_v they_o and_o do_v convey_v they_o away_o out_o of_o the_o forest_n in_o this_o case_n although_o that_o such_o a_o officer_n do_v fresh_o pursue_v they_o yet_o he_o can_v lawful_o take_v those_o good_n nor_o distrain_v they_o be_v out_o of_o the_o bound_n of_o the_o forest_n but_o if_o such_o a_o officer_n have_v take_v and_o once_o seize_v the_o beast_n of_o the_o defaulter_n for_o such_o a_o amercement_n lawful_o as_o a_o distress_n and_o then_o the_o owner_n by_o force_n have_v take_v they_o from_o he_o and_o so_o drive_v they_o out_o of_o the_o forest_n then_o the_o say_v bedell_n or_o officer_n may_v make_v hue_n and_o cry_n &_o fresh_o pursue_v after_o he_o and_o so_o take_v those_o beast_n from_o the_o say_v rescusor_fw-la in_o any_o place_n wheresoever_o out_o of_o the_o forest_n and_o the_o same_o law_n be_v if_o a_o stranger_n do_v take_v those_o beast_n from_o the_o bedell_n or_o officer_n after_o that_o he_o have_v distrain_v they_o and_o then_o do_v deliver_v they_o to_o the_o first_o owner_n again_o which_o do_v drive_v they_o out_o of_o the_o forest_n then_o the_o say_a bedell_n land_n that_o be_v out_o of_o the_o bound_n of_o the_o forest_n by_o the_o negligence_n of_o the_o bedell_n or_o officer_n that_o ought_v to_o have_v impound_v they_o than_o the_o officer_n can_v have_v take_v by_o distress_n to_o a_o strange_a to_o keep_v to_o his_o own_o use_n whereby_o the_o stranger_n to_o who_o they_o be_v deliver_v so_o to_o keep_v do_v drive_v they_o to_o his_o own_o land_n be_v within_o the_o forest_n and_o afterward_o the_o owner_n of_o those_o beast_n do_v take_v they_o out_o of_o his_o land_n that_o have_v the_o keep_n of_o they_o and_o drive_v they_o out_o of_o the_o forest_n in_o this_o case_n the_o bedell_n nor_o other_o officer_n can_v not_o take_v they_o again_o now_o be_v out_o of_o the_o forest_n but_o otherwise_o it_o be_v if_o that_o the_o bedell_n or_o other_o officer_n have_v take_v the_o distress_n and_o deliver_v the_o beast_n unto_o a_o stranger_n to_o keep_v as_o a_o distress_n in_o this_o case_n if_o the_o owner_n take_v they_o &_o do_v drive_v they_o out_o of_o the_o forest_n yet_o the_o bedell_n or_o other_o officer_n may_v fresh_o pursue_v they_o &_o take_v they_o again_o from_o he_o although_o that_o they_o be_v without_o the_o forest_n in_o a_o foreign_a county_n note_v the_o difference_n where_o such_o beast_n be_v deliver_v to_o be_v keep_v as_o a_o distress_n and_o where_o to_o be_v keep_v to_o his_o own_o use_n if_o a_o officer_n of_o the_o forest_n or_o other_o person_n that_o ought_v to_o appear_v at_o the_o swanimote_a court_n have_v land_n within_o the_o forest_n and_o the_o beast_n of_o a_o
