well_o consider_v the_o great_a and_o indispensible_a duty_n incumbent_a upon_o we_o and_o to_o promote_v and_o encourage_v a_o reformation_n of_o the_o manner_n of_o all_o our_o subject_n that_o so_o the_o service_n of_o god_n may_v be_v advance_v and_o those_o blessing_n be_v procure_v to_o these_o nation_n which_o always_o attend_v a_o conscientious_a discharge_n of_o our_o respective_a duty_n according_a to_o our_o several_a relation_n we_o think_v it_o necessary_a in_o order_n to_o the_o obtain_n of_o this_o public_a good_a to_o recommend_v unto_o you_o the_o put_n in_o execution_n with_o all_o fidelity_n and_o impartiality_n those_o law_n which_o have_v be_v make_v and_o be_v still_o in_o force_n against_o the_o profanation_n of_o the_o lordsday_n profane_v swear_v and_o curse_v drunkenness_n and_o all_o other_o lewd_a enormous_a and_o disorderly_a practice_n which_o by_o a_o long_a conntinued_a neglect_n and_o connivance_n of_o the_o magistrate_n and_o officer_n concern_v have_v universal_o spread_v themselves_o to_o the_o dishonour_n of_o god_n and_o the_o scandal_n of_o our_o holy_a religion_n whereby_o it_o be_v now_o become_v the_o more_o necessary_a for_o all_o person_n in_o authority_n to_o apply_v themselves_o with_o all_o possible_a care_n and_o diligence_n to_o the_o suppress_n of_o the_o same_o we_o do_v therefore_o hereby_o charge_n and_o require_v you_o to_o take_v the_o most_o effectual_a method_n for_o put_v the_o law_n in_o execution_n against_o the_o crime_n above-menioned_n and_o all_o other_o sin_n and_o vice_n particular_o those_o which_o be_v most_o prevail_v in_o this_o realm_n and_o that_o especial_o in_o such_o case_n where_o any_o officer_n of_o justice_n shall_v be_v guilty_a of_o any_o of_o those_o offence_n or_o refuse_v or_o neglect_v to_o discharge_v the_o duty_n of_o his_o place_n for_o the_o suppress_v they_o that_o so_o such_o officer_n by_o his_o punishment_n may_v serve_v for_o a_o example_n to_o other_o and_o to_o this_o end_n we_o will_v have_v you_o be_v careful_a and_o diligent_a in_o encourage_v all_o constable_n churchwarden_n headborrough_n and_o all_o other_o officer_n and_o person_n whatsoever_o to_o do_v their_o part_n in_o their_o several_a station_n by_o timely_a and_o impartial_a information_n and_o prosecution_n against_o all_o such_o offender_n for_o prevent_v those_o judgement_n which_o be_v solemn_o denounce_v against_o the_o sin_n abovementioned_a we_o can_v doubt_v of_o your_o performance_n hereof_o since_o it_o be_v a_o duty_n to_o which_o you_o be_v oblige_v by_o oath_n
