likewise_o of_o a_o full_a power_n to_o set_v to_o work_n and_o employ_v all_o able_a to_o correct_v offender_n and_o in_o all_o point_n to_o employ_v such_o money_n and_o produce_v of_o the_o labour_n for_o the_o good_a not_o only_o of_o those_o able_a to_o work_v but_o also_o for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o the_o age_a cripples_n and_o infant_n that_o the_o party_n thus_o name_v to_o be_v trustee_n be_v incorporate_v by_o the_o name_n of_o governor_n and_o company_n of_o trustee_n for_o the_o poor_a or_o and_o to_o meet_v at_o and_o choose_v a_o governor_n and_o deputy_n and_o committee_n and_o so_o annual_o for_o ever_o after_o the_o manner_n of_o the_o bank_n of_o england_n the_o committee_n thus_o choose_v and_o swear_v to_o be_v true_a to_o the_o government_n and_o faithful_a in_o their_o trust_n to_o prepare_v by-law_n to_o be_v present_v at_o a_o general_a court_n of_o trustee_n within_o day_n by_o the_o majority_n to_o be_v confirm_v alter_a or_o set-aside_a as_o shall_v appear_v most_o conduce_v to_o the_o good_a of_o the_o poor_a and_o that_o such_o by-law_n thus_o make_v all_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n overseer_n of_o the_o poor_a churchwarden_n constable_n and_o all_o other_o do_v obey_v so_o far_o as_o they_o do_v relate_v to_o the_o poor_a under_o the_o penalty_n of_o for_o every_o offence_n that_o all_o the_o money_n due_a owe_v and_o of_o ______o 1694._o give_v a_o true_a account_n to_o the_o say_a committee_n under_o the_o hand_n and_o upon_o oath_n of_o such_o overseer_n churchwarden_n and_o minister_n of_o every_o parish_n before_o some_o neighbour_a justice_n of_o peace_n of_o such_o money_n stock_n land_n and_o rent_n payable_a to_o the_o use_v of_o the_o poor_a and_o of_o all_o person_n as_o be_v chargeable_a to_o committee_n or_o those_o appoint_v by_o they_o to_o provide_v and_o erect_v work-house_n and_o hospital_n for_o set_v at_o work_n and_o maintain_v the_o poor_a in_o the_o most_o convenient_a place_n within_o this_o kingdom_n on_o the_o linen_n or_o some_o other_o foreign_a manufacture_n or_o such_o manufacture_n of_o our_o own_o that_o may_v not_o be_v to_o the_o ruin_n of_o the_o present_a industrious_a people_n of_o this_o kingdom_n that_o it_o may_v be_v lawful_a for_o the_o say_a committee_n or_o those_o by_o they_o appoint_v where_o they_o find_v either_o house_n or_o land_n most_o proper_a to_o build_v such_o work-house_n and_o hospital_n upon_o or_o to_o endow_v they_o with_o to_o purchase_v the_o same_o and_o the_o owner_n thereof_o be_v oblige_v to_o sell_v and_o deliver_v the_o say_v land_n or_o house_n within_o day_n after_o notice_n at_o year_n purchase_v according_a to_o the_o present_a or_o last_v rent_n allow_v for_o damage_n by_o be_v uninhabited_a or_o let_v
