city_n which_o be_v of_o a_o civil_a and_o humane_a nature_n as_o be_v confess_v and_o be_v urge_v in_o the_o instance_n of_o ephesus_n etc._n etc._n truth_n 2._o we_o be_v wont_v when_o we_o speak_v of_o keep_v or_o break_v the_o peace_n to_o speak_v of_o word_n or_o action_n of_o violence_n sedition_n uproar_v etc._n etc._n for_o action_n of_o the_o case_n plea_n and_o traverse_n may_v be_v spiritual_a controversy_n among_o themselves_o or_o with_o any_o other_o or_o if_o god_n take_v away_o the_o candlestick_n as_o he_o threaten_v the_o church_n in_o ephesus_n all_o this_o may_v be_v come_v and_o yet_o no_o civil_a peace_n break_v yea_o among_o those_o that_o profess_v the_o same_o god_n and_o christ_n as_o the_o papist_n and_o protestant_n or_o the_o same_o mahomet_n as_o the_o turk_n and_o persian_n there_o will_v no_o civil_a peace_n be_v break_v notwithstanding_o their_o difference_n in_o religion_n be_v it_o not_o for_o the_o bloody_a doctrine_n of_o persecution_n which_o alone_o break_v the_o bound_n of_o civil_a peace_n and_o make_v spiritual_a cause_n the_o cause_n of_o their_o bloody_a dissension_n i_o observe_v therefore_o a_o twofold_a fallacy_n in_o master_n cotton_v reply_n first_o he_o fallacious_o mingle_v peace_n and_o prosperity_n together_o for_o though_o it_o be_v true_a that_o under_o the_o term_n peace_n all_o good_a thing_n be_v sometime_o conclude_v yet_o when_o we_o speak_v of_o heretic_n or_o schismatic_n another_o break_v the_o civil_a peace_n or_o strew_v doctrine_n tend_v to_o break_v the_o civil_a peace_n we_o must_v not_o preserve_v for_o although_o it_o be_v most_o true_a that_o soon_o or_o late_a the_o god_n of_o heaven_n punish_v of_o the_o nation_n of_o the_o world_n for_o their_o idolatry_n superstition_n
