about_o a_o quarter_n of_o a_o hour_n and_o that_o there_o be_v some_o discourse_n about_o seize_v of_o the_o guard_n at_o the_o savoy_n and_o mew_n in_o case_n the_o insurrection_n have_v go_v on_o lord_n russel_n assent_v to_o all_o this_o and_o the_o witness_n be_v to_o have_v go_v to_o bristol_n by_o the_o order_n of_o the_o earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n against_o that_o time_n then_o mr._n shepherd_n depose_v that_o in_o october_n mr._n ferguson_n come_v to_o he_o in_o the_o duke_n of_o monmouth_n name_n to_o request_v the_o conveniency_n of_o his_o house_n for_o he_o and_o some_o other_o person_n of_o quality_n to_o meet_v that_o in_o the_o evening_n come_v the_o duke_n of_o monmouth_n the_o lord_n grey_n the_o lord_n russel_n sir_n thomas_n armstrong_n col._n rumsey_n and_o they_o and_o the_o next_o time_n they_o meet_v at_o his_o house_n he_o hear_v sir_n thomas_n say_v the_o guards_z be_v very_o remiss_a in_o their_o place_n and_o not_o like_o soldier_n and_o that_o the_o thing_n be_v feasible_a if_o they_o have_v strength_n to_o do_v it_o that_o they_o meet_v twice_o at_o his_o house_n and_o the_o prisoner_n be_v there_o both_o time_n that_o mr._n ferguson_n read_v a_o paper_n in_o the_o nature_n of_o a_o declaration_n set_v forth_o the_o grievance_n of_o the_o nation_n in_o order_n to_o a_o rise_n he_o can_v not_o say_v the_o lord_n russel_n be_v evidence_n with_o a_o low_a voice_n pretend_v the_o news_n he_o have_v just_a then_o receive_v of_o the_o earl_n of_o essex_n fate_n have_v sink_v his_o voice_n and_o a_o long_a story_n of_o the_o design_n of_o the_o earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n a_o account_n of_o which_o he_o have_v from_o capt._n walcot_n who_o he_o bring_v acquaint_v with_o the_o earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n and_o by_o who_o the_o earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n send_v for_o he_o while_o he_o abscond_v at_o one_o vvatson_n at_o the_o end_n of_o woodstreet_n and_o there_o discover_v to_o he_o his_o design_n of_o the_o rise_n and_o that_o he_o have_v 10000_o brisk_a boy_n ready_a to_o follow_v he_o whenever_o he_o hold_v up_o his_o finger_n who_o be_v to_o possess_v themselves_o of_o the_o gate_n and_o will_v in_o a_o hour_n time_n be_v 5_o time_n multiply_v but_o that_o his_o design_n be_v much_o retard_v by_o the_o backwardness_n of_o the_o duke_n of_o monmouth_n and_o the_o lord_n russel_n who_o fail_v he_o in_o not_o be_v ready_a prepare_v to_o concur_v with_o he_o in_o the_o country_n that_o he_o then_o endeavour_v to_o show_v the_o earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n the_o necessity_n of_o have_v those_o lord_n concurrence_n in_o so_o weighty_a a_o undertake_n and_o proffer_v his_o service_n to_o bring_v they_o to_o a_o right_a understanding_n among_o themselves_o to_o this_o end_n he_o speak_v with_o the_o duke_n of_o monmouth_n who_o deny_v that_o either_o he_o or_o the_o lord_n russel_n have_v give_v the_o earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n any_o encouragement_n to_o be_v so_o forward_o because_o they_o know_v the_o country_n can_v not_o be_v ready_a to_o stir_v so_o soon_o that_o a_o meeting_n be_v then_o propose_v but_o afterward_o put_v off_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n fear_n of_o be_v discover_v that_o the_o duke_n of_o monmouth_n tell_v he_o that_o the_o lord_n russel_n have_v be_v with_o the_o earl_n of_o shaftsbury_n and_o persuade_v he_o to_o put_v off_o his_o rendezvouz_n for_o only_a a_o fortnight_n against_o which_o time_n they_o will_v try_v to_o be_v ready_a for_o he_o but_o the_o country_n not_o be_v ready_a that_o design_n be_v disappoint_v that_o in_o october_n captain_n walcot_n acquaint_v he_o with_o the_o design_n upon_o the_o king_n with_o which_o he_o acquaint_v the_o duke_n of_o monmouth_n who_o say_v he_o will_v never_o suffer_v it_o and_o they_o do_v
