lawful_o convict_v before_o any_o the_o justice_n or_o other_o head_n officer_n above_o remember_v or_o either_o of_o the_o say_a president_n and_o council_n shall_v suffer_v imprisonment_n by_o the_o or_o privilege_n of_o the_o same_o city_n for_o or_o concern_v the_o have_a or_o take_v of_o any_o apprentice_n or_o apprentice_n but_o that_o the_o citezin_n and_o freeman_n of_o the_o same_o city_n shall_v and_o may_v take_v have_v and_o retain_v apprentice_n there_o in_o such_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o they_o may_v lawful_o have_v do_v before_o the_o make_n of_o this_o statute_n this_o act_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o and_o be_v it_o also_o further_o enact_v that_o all_o indenture_n covenaunte_n promise_n and_o bargain_n of_o or_o for_o the_o have_v take_v or_o keep_a of_o any_o apprentice_n otherwise_o hereafter_o to_o be_v make_v or_o take_v then_o be_v by_o this_o statute_n lymit_v ordain_v and_o appoint_v shall_v be_v clere_o void_a in_o the_o law_n to_o all_o intentes_fw-la and_o purpose_n and_o that_o every_o person_n that_o shall_v from_o henceforth_o take_v or_o new_o retain_v any_o
