and_o letter_n aforesaid_a do_v reasonable_o testify_v and_o as_o the_o say_a baron_n and_o their_o ancestor_n the_o baron_n of_o the_o port_n aforesaid_a have_v hitherto_o lawful_o use_v and_o enjoy_v their_o liberty_n and_o acquitance_n aforesaid_a in_o witness_v whereof_o we_o have_v cause_v these_o our_o letter_n to_o be_v make_v patent_n witness_v ourselves_o at_o westminster_n the_o word_n and_o general_a term_n contain_v in_o the_o charter_n letter_n and_o confirmation_n aforesaid_a have_v be_v and_o be_v at_o this_o time_n hinder_v from_o the_o enjoy_n of_o certain_a of_o their_o liberty_n and_o free-custom_n as_o also_o the_o privilege_n and_o acquitance_n which_o they_o be_v wont_v free_o peaceable_o and_o quiet_o to_o enjoy_v in_o the_o port_n aforesaid_a and_o member_n thereof_o from_o the_o time_n of_o the_o make_v the_o charter_n letter_n and_o confirmation_n aforesaid_a to_o the_o impoverish_n and_o undo_n of_o the_o say_a baron_n and_o honest_a man_n as_o also_o to_o the_o damage_n of_o the_o service_n of_o our_o navy_n and_o the_o utter_a loss_n thereof_o likely_a to_o ensue_v we_o therefore_o great_o consider_v not_o only_o the_o premise_a but_o also_o the_o good_a voluntary_a and_o free_a service_n which_o the_o aforesaid_a baron_n and_o honest_a inhabitant_n of_o the_o cinque-port_n and_o member_n aforesaid_a have_v pay_v to_o our_o progenitor_n and_o especial_o to_o we_o in_o the_o restore_n the_o right_n of_o our_o kingdom_n and_o will_v likewise_o to_o secure_v their_o peace_n and_o tranquillity_n and_o the_o public_a good_a on_o this_o behalf_n and_o make_v good_a to_o they_o and_o well_o please_v to_o we_o and_o our_o heir_n as_o much_o as_o in_o we_o lie_v all_o the_o grant_n and_o privilege_n aforesaid_a as_o also_o
