good_n and_o beside_o shall_v suffer_v a_o year_n imprisonment_n without_o bail_n 119._o lxxvi_o none_o out_o of_o the_o university_n shall_v keep_v school_n except_o a_o free_a school_n or_o in_o some_o person_n house_n that_o be_v no_o recusant_n or_o by_o licence_n of_o the_o bishop_n or_o ordinary_a in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v 40._o s._n a_o day_n lxxvii_o the_o forfeiture_n of_o this_o churchwarden_n and_o constable_n of_o every_o parish_n or_o one_o of_o they_o or_o if_o there_o be_v none_o such_o than_o the_o high_a constable_n of_o the_o hundred_o there_o shall_v present_v once_o every_o year_n at_o the_o general_n session_n of_o peace_n the_o monthly_a absence_n from_o church_n of_o every_o popish_a recusant_n and_o their_o child_n be_v above_o the_o age_n of_o nine_o year_n and_o their_o servant_n together_o with_o the_o age_n of_o their_o child_n as_o near_o as_o they_o can_v know_v they_o in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v respective_o for_o every_o such_o default_n 20._o s._n which_o presentment_n the_o clerk_n of_o the_o peace_n or_o town_n clerk_n shall_v record_v without_o fee_n in_o pain_n of_o 40._o s._n lxxxi_o if_o upon_o such_o presentment_n be_v the_o first_o the_o recusant_n be_v convict_v the_o officer_n that_o present_v he_o shall_v have_v 40._o s._n to_o be_v levy_v by_o warrant_n upon_o the_o recusants_n good_n and_o estate_n as_o the_o more_o part_n of_o the_o justice_n of_o peace_n shall_v think_v fit_a lxxxii_o just_a of_o ass_n g._n d._n and_o p._n have_v power_n to_o hear_v &_o determine_v of_o all_o recusant_n &_o offence_n as_o well_o for_o not_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n according_a to_o this_o act_n as_o also_o for_o not_o come_v to_o church_n according_a to_o former_a law_n and_o likewise_o to_o make_v proclamation_n that_o they_o shall_v render_v themselves_o to_o the_o sheriff_n or_o bailiff_n of_o the_o liberty_n where_o they_o be_v before_o the_o next_o ass_n g._n d._n or_o sess_n respective_o which_o if_o they_o do_v not_o that_o default_n be_v record_v shall_v be_v take_v for_o as_o sufficient_a a_o conviction_n of_o they_o as_o a_o trial_n by_o verdict_n lxxxiii_o every_o offender_n not_o repair_v to_o church_n as_o their_o hand_n in_o pain_n of_o 100_o l._n to_o be_v divide_v betwixt_o the_o king_n and_o the_o discoverer_n cx_o a_o popish_a recusant_n convict_v or_o indict_v or_o any_o person_n not_o come_v to_o church_n by_o the_o space_n of_o 3._o month_n together_o which_o remain_v in_o london_n or_o within_o ten_o mile_n distance_n thereof_o shall_v within_o ten_o day_n after_o such_o conviction_n or_o indictment_n depart_v from_o thence_o and_o also_o shall_v deliver_v their_o name_n in_o london_n to_o the_o lord_n maior_n there_o and_o in_o the_o country_n to_o the_o next_o just_a of_o p._n in_o pain_n of_o 100_o l._n to_o be_v divide_v betwixt_o the_o king_n and_o the_o prosecutor_n howbeit_o this_o clause_n shall_v not_o extend_v to_o tradesman_n or_o such_o as_o have_v no_o other_o of_o or_o in_o any_o court_n or_o bear_v any_o office_n among_o soldier_n or_o in_o a_o ship_n castle_n or_o fortress_n in_o pain_n of_o 100_o l._n to_o be_v divide_v betwixt_o the_o king_n and_o the_o prosecutor_n 130._o cxiii_o no_o popish_a recusant_n convict_v or_o who_o wife_n be_v a_o recusant_n convict_v shall_v exercise_v any_o public_a office_n in_o the_o commonwealth_n by_o himself_o or_o his_o deputy_n unless_o he_o bring_v up_o his_o child_n in_o the_o true_a religion_n &_o together_o with_o his_o child_n &_o servant_n repair_n to_o the_o church_n and_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n at_o such_o time_n as_o by_o the_o law_n be_v limit_v 130._o cxiv_o a_o marry_a woman_n be_v a_o popish_a recusant_n convict_v her_o husband_n be_v none_o that_o do_v not_o conform_v herself_o as_o aforesaid_a by_o the_o space_n of_o one_o whole_a year_n before_o her_o husband_n death_n shall_v forfeit_v two_o three_o part_n of_o her_o dower_n or_o jointure_n and_o shall_v be_v incapable_a of_o be_v executrix_n or_o administratrix_fw-la to_o her_o husband_n and_o of_o enjoy_v any_o part_n of_o her_o husband_n good_n cxv_o a_o popish_a recusant_n after_o conviction_n shall_v be_v repute_v to_o all_o intent_n as_o a_o person_n excommunicate_a until_o he_o shall_v conform_v go_v to_o church_n receive_v the_o sacrament_n and_o take_v the_o oath_n of_o obedience_n ordain_v by_o 3._o jac._n 4._o howbeit_o he_o may_v sue_v for_o his_o interest_n in_o land_n not_o seize_v into_o the_o king_n hand_n cxvi_o a_o popish_a recusant_n convict_v which_o be_v marry_v otherwise_o then_o in_o open_a church_n and_o by_o a_o lawful_a minister_n according_a to_o the_o order_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n shall_v not_o be_v tenant_n by_o the_o counrtesie_n and_o a_o woman_n in_o this_o case_n shall_v be_v disable_v to_o enjoy_v her_o dower_n jointure_n widow_n estate_n or_o any_o of_o her_o husband_n good_n and_o where_o the_o man_n can_v be_v tenant_n by_o the_o courtesy_n he_o shall_v forfeit_v 100_o l._n to_o be_v divide_v betwixt_o the_o king_n and_o the_o prosecutor_n cxvii_o every_o popish_a recusant_n shall_v within_o one_o month_n after_o the_o birth_n of_o his_o child_n cause_v it_o to_o be_v baptize_v by_o a_o lawful_a minister_n in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v 100_o l._n if_o he_o outlive_v the_o month_n if_o not_o than_o his_o wife_n be_v to_o pay_v the_o same_o forfeiture_n which_o shall_v be_v divide_v into_o there_o part_n whereof_o the_o king_n shall_v have_v one_o the_o prosecutor_n another_o and_o the_o poor_a of_o the_o parish_n the_o three_o cxviii_o every_o popish_a recusant_n shall_v be_v bury_v in_o the_o church_n of_o churchyard_n and_o according_a to_o the_o ecclesiastical_a law_n of_o this_o realm_n in_o pain_n that_o his_o soever_o they_o shall_v be_v print_v or_o write_v nor_o any_o other_o superstitious_a book_n print_v or_o write_v in_o the_o english_a tongue_n in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v xl_o s._n for_o every_o

to_o use_v the_o say_a church_n service_n or_o to_o have_v use_v any_o other_o rite_n ceremony_n order_n form_n or_o manner_n then_o be_v set_v forth_o in_o the_o say_a book_n or_o to_o have_v l._n good_n which_o treasurer_n so_o choose_v shall_v yearly_a at_o easter_n session_n render_v a_o true_a account_n to_o their_o successor_n and_o pay_v the_o money_n in_o their_o hand_n to_o the_o
