be_v mention_v that_o all_o vintner_n innkeeper_n victualler_n alehouse-keeper_n or_o other_o person_n sell_v beer_n or_o ale_n by_o retail_n shall_v either_o whole_o brew_v and_o make_v their_o own_o beer_n and_o ale_n or_o take_v the_o same_o from_o some_o common_a brewer_n and_o that_o every_o vintner_n innkeeper_n victualer_n alehousekeeper_n or_o other_o as_o aforesaid_a do_v otherwise_o by_o brew_v part_n of_o he_o or_o their_o beer_n and_o ale_n and_o take_v other_o part_n from_o a_o common_a brew_v shall_v be_v liable_a and_o pay_v excize_a nevertheless_o as_o if_o he_o or_o they_o have_v themselves_o brew_v all_o and_o every_o part_n thereof_o upon_o pain_n of_o forfeit_v all_o such_o beer_n or_o ale_n which_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v take_v from_o such_o common_a brewer_n or_o else_o the_o value_n thereof_o to_o be_v leviad_v by_o distress_n â—s_v hereafter_o be_v direct_v provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v that_o no_o distress_n make_v or_o take_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o present_a act_n of_o the_o good_n and_o chattel_n of_o any_o vintner_n innkeeper_n victualer_n alehouse-â—eeper_a or_o other_o brew_v make_v and_o selâ—ing_v by_o retail_v any_o beer_n ale_n aquavitae_n or_o strongwater_n shall_v be_v sell_v or_o dispose_v of_o until_o fourteen_o day_n after_o any_o such_o good_n or_o chattel_n shall_v be_v distrain_v and_o within_o 〈◊〉_d at_o time_n any_o such_o vintner_n innkeeper_n victualer_n alehousekeeper_n or_o other_o person_n as_o aforesaid_a find_v he_o or_o themselves_o grieve_v shall_v or_o may_v make_v he_o or_o their_o complaint_n unto_o one_o or_o more_o of_o the_o next_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n who_o upon_o such_o complaint_n to_o he_o or_o they_o make_v by_o such_o party_n or_o party_n be_v hereby_o authorize_v and_o require_v to_o hear_v and_o examine_v the_o same_o upon_o oath_n which_o oath_n any_o one_o or_o more_o of_o the_o say_a justice_n be_v hereby_o authorize_v to_o administer_v and_o final_o â—o_o determine_v the_o matter_n of_o complaint_n and_o to_o â—mitigate_v any_o fine_a penalty_n forfeiture_n inflict_v or_o impose_v upon_o any_o such_o person_n by_o this_o present_a act_n search_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v nevertheless_o afterward_o refuse_v to_o make_v oath_n that_o the_o good_n and_o merchandize_n view_v and_o see_v by_o and_o show_v unto_o the_o officer_n or_o
