itself_o &_o the_o protestant_a religion_n which_o import_v no_o such_o insinuation_n but_o from_o these_o pleasant_a principle_n he_o jump_v in_o to_o this_o fantastik_a conclusion_n that_o therefore_o it_o can_v be_v deny_v but_o the_o earl_n interpretation_n destroy_v not_o only_o this_o act_n but_o all_o government_n and_o make_v every_o man_n conscience_n or_o humour_n the_o rule_n of_o his_o obedience_n but_o first_o as_o to_o the_o whole_a of_o his_o argue_v the_o earl_n neither_o invent_v say_v nor_o do_v any_o thing_n except_o that_o he_o offer_v his_o explanation_n to_o the_o council_n which_o they_o likewise_o accept_v 2_o what_o mad_a inference_n be_v these_o you_o say_v you_o will_v explain_v this_o oath_n for_o yourself_o therefore_o you_o overturn_v all_o government_n and_o what_o not_o whereas_o it_o be_v manifest_a on_o the_o other_o hand_n that_o if_o the_o earl_n apprehend_v as_o he_o have_v reason_n the_o oath_n to_o be_v ambiguous_a and_o in_o some_o thing_n inconsistent_a have_v take_v it_o without_o explain_v it_o for_o himself_o or_o respect_n to_o its_o inconsistency_n it_o may_v have_v be_v most_o rational_o conclude_v that_o in_o so_o do_v he_o be_v both_o impious_a and_o perjure_a 3_o it_o be_v false_a that_o the_o earl_n do_v make_v his_o conscience_n any_o other_o way_n the_o rule_n of_o his_o obedience_n then_o as_o all_o honest_a man_n ought_v to_o do_v that_o be_v as_o they_o say_v to_o be_v regula_n regulata_fw-la in_o conformity_n to_o the_o undoubted_a regula_n regulans_fw-la the_o eternal_a rule_n of_o truth_n the_o frail_a and_o fallible_a condition_n of_o human_a affair_n and_o then_o he_o will_v establish_v this_o wise_a position_n by_o a_o example_n he_o adduce_n that_o rise_v in_o arm_n against_o the_o king_n for_o so_o sure_o he_o mean_v it_o be_v otherwise_o certain_a that_o rise_n in_o arm_n in_o general_n be_v also_o a_o thing_n indifferent_a and_o plain_o determinable_a to_o be_v either_o
