pronounce_v the_o sentence_n and_o thereby_o strike_v the_o conscience_n than_o god_n have_v another_o fan_n and_o that_o be_v the_o fan_n of_o his_o judgement_n and_o that_o fan_v or_o winnow_v time_n be_v when_o he_o execute_v his_o vengeance_n and_o his_o judgement_n on_o a_o nation_n this_o be_v his_o latter_a fan_n 〈◊〉_d the_o first_o will_v not_o prevail_v this_o â—â—_o his_o powerful_a and_o strong_a fan_n drive_v about_o with_o the_o wind_n of_o his_o wrath_n this_o fan_n go_v over_o the_o old_a world_n and_o sweep_v they_o all_o away_o and_o go_v over_o the_o nation_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o we_o see_v they_o be_v no_o more_o 1_o these_o three_o fan_n of_o god_n make_v a_o threefold_a separation_n of_o the_o chaff_n from_o the_o wheat_n that_o be_v of_o the_o wicked_a from_o the_o elect_a with_o the_o fan_n of_o his_o word_n which_o be_v powerful_a he_o sever_v they_o in_o affection_n and_o disposition_n and_o make_v a_o distinction_n of_o they_o so_o as_o general_o the_o wheat_n be_v know_v to_o be_v wheat_n and_o chaff_n discern_v to_o be_v chaff_n by_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n but_o though_o the_o tear_v be_v know_v to_o be_v tear_v yet_o both_o grow_v together_o so_o that_o the_o word_n only_o sever_v they_o in_o affection_n and_o set_v several_a note_n of_o distinction_n upon_o they_o both_o 2_o but_o then_o the_o second_o fan_n of_o his_o judgement_n be_v more_o violent_a for_o thereby_o he_o sever_v they_o a_o sunder_o in_o soul_n gather_v the_o godly_a man_n as_o his_o wheat_n into_o the_o heaven_n &_o blow_v the_o soul_n of_o the_o wicked_a into_o hell_n but_o yet_o the_o body_n of_o they_o both_o lie_v together_o as_o partaker_n of_o the_o same_o judgement_n so_o subject_a to_o the_o same_o corruption_n and_o
their_o trial_n let_v the_o ten_o commandment_n pass_v upon_o they_o and_o thy_o sin_n and_o corruption_n which_o thou_o find_v to_o be_v chaff_n blow_v they_o away_o by_o repentance_n so_o shall_v thou_o remain_v pure_a and_o clean_a wheat_n fit_a for_o the_o house_n and_o church_n of_o god_n in_o this_o world_n &_o for_o his_o kingdom_n in_o heaven_n but_o if_o we_o will_v not_o do_v this_o then_o alas_o what_o will_v follow_v my_o heart_n grieve_v to_o utter_v it_o but_o i_o must_v unless_o i_o shall_v be_v a_o false_a prophet_n and_o therefore_o i_o wil._n our_o long_a peace_n plenty_n and_o ease_n have_v breed_v great_a sin_n so_o great_a that_o they_o reach_v to_o heaven_n and_o provoke_v god_n majesty_n to_o his_o face_n and_o so_o strong_a that_o they_o will_v violent_o draw_v down_o judgment_n from_o god_n upon_o we_o which_o when_o they_o come_v they_o will_v be_v so_o powerful_a and_o so_o violent_a that_o they_o will_v blow_v we_o away_o like_o chaff_n and_o bring_v this_o kingdom_n to_o some_o miserable_a ruin_n o_o therefore_o how_o happy_a be_v we_o if_o we_o can_v entertain_v this_o doctrine_n and_o practice_v it_o for_o in_o so_o do_v we_o shall_v prevent_v god_n judgement_n we_o shall_v continue_v the_o gospel_n to_o this_o land_n and_o preserve_v this_o glorious_a nation_n from_o be_v destroy_v or_o dispeople_v by_o some_o fearful_a judgement_n belove_a you_o come_v hither_o to_o this_o fair_a place_n purposely_o to_o buy_v and_o sell_v and_o thereby_o to_o better_v your_o estate_n in_o this_o world_n how_o happy_a then_o be_v you_o if_o beside_o the_o good_a market_n you_o make_v for_o your_o body_n and_o estate_n you_o learn_v also_o how_o to_o make_v yourselves_o abide_v the_o trial_n of_o god_n judgement_n and_o how_o to_o be_v make_v pure_a corn_n fit_a to_o replenish_v the_o garner_n of_o heaven_n &_o how_o to_o continue_v god_n favour_n and_o the_o gospel_n to_o this_o nation_n if_o thou_o go_v away_o with_o this_o lesson_n thou_o have_v a_o jewel_n more_o worth_a then_o if_o thou_o shall_v go_v home_o possess_v or_o all_o the_o huge_a riches_n of_o this_o fair_a you_o call_v this_o and_o such_o like_a time_n fair_a time_n but_o if_o thou_o learn_v this_o lesson_n right_a than_o thou_o may_v say_v that_o this_o be_v the_o fair_a day_n in_o deed_n that_o ever_o shine_v upon_o thou_o since_o thou_o be_v bear_v this_o precious_a jewel_n which_o i_o have_v speak_v of_o all_o this_o while_n i_o hear_v offer_n unto_o thou_o every_o one_o bring_v hither_o something_o to_o be_v sell_v this_o be_v the_o merchandise_n that_o i_o bring_v and_o set_v to_o sale_n unto_o you_o what_o ever_o commodity_n any_o of_o you_o bring_v it_o be_v from_o some_o quarter_n of_o this_o land_n but_o all_o be_v from_o the_o earth_n but_o this_o that_o i_o bring_v it_o be_v from_o heaven_n and_o all_o the_o earth_n can_v yield_v it_o and_o as_o it_o be_v from_o heaven_n so_o it_o be_v of_o a_o heavenly_a virtue_n and_o will_v work_v that_o which_o all_o the_o wealth_n in_o this_o fair_a be_v not_o able_a to_o do_v therefore_o cast_v not_o to_o buy_v the_o base_a and_o let_v pass_v the_o best_a of_o all_o and_o never_o allege_v that_o it_o be_v above_o thy_o compass_n and_o be_v a_o jewel_n it_o be_v too_o dear_a and_o costly_a for_o thou_o for_o i_o offer_v it_o free_o unto_o you_o and_o to_o every_o one_o of_o you_o i_o pronounce_v unto_o you_o from_o the_o 55._o lord_n that_o here_o this_o bless_a doctrine_n be_v offer_v unto_o you_o all_o in_o his_o name_n free_o and_o that_o you_o may_v buy_v it_o without_o money_n happy_a be_v that_o day_n when_o thou_o come_v so_o far_o to_o buy_v thing_n for_o thy_o body_n and_o pay_v so_o dear_a for_o they_o do_v meet_v with_o so_o precious_a a_o jewel_n the_o virtue_n whereof_o be_v to_o save_v thy_o soul_n and_o pay_v nothing_o for_o it_o thou_o may_v hereafter_o rejoice_v and_o say_v i_o go_v to_o buy_v and_o sell_v and_o to_o help_v my_o body_n but_o i_o have_v also_o learned_a to_o save_v my_o soul_n i_o go_v thither_o to_o help_v to_o maintain_v my_o own_o estate_n but_o i_o have_v learned_a to_o help_v to_o maintain_v england_n in_o prosperity_n for_o assure_o if_o we_o will_v all_o of_o we_o learn_v this_o lesson_n and_o practice_v it_o we_o may_v assure_v ourselves_o of_o the_o glorious_a prosperity_n of_o england_n to_o cotinue_v from_o generation_n to_o generation_n whereas_o alas_o if_o we_o continue_v &_o go_v forward_o in_o our_o sin_n &_o impenitency_n it_o be_v great_o to_o be_v fear_v that_o neither_o the_o gospel_n nor_o this_o peace_n will_v reach_v to_o our_o posterity_n therefore_o now_o to_o make_v a_o end_n i_o once_o again_o &_o last_o commend_v this_o doctrine_n to_o you_o all_o &_o every_o one_o of_o you_o for_o this_o merchandise_n that_o i_o bring_v be_v of_o that_o nature_n that_o though_o some_o take_v it_o yet_o there_o be_v also_o enough_o for_o every_o one_o and_o i_o commend_v it_o unto_o you_o even_o from_o the_o very_a mouth_n of_o god_n himself_o think_v of_o it_o i_o charge_v thou_o as_o ever_o thou_o look_v to_o appear_v before_o the_o face_n of_o christ_n jesus_n the_o great_a judge_n at_o the_o last_o day_n and_o if_o thou_o will_v escape_v the_o rigour_n of_o that_o judgement_n enter_v now_o into_o judgement_n with_o thyself_o and_o search_v thyself_o if_o thou_o now_o will_v not_o receive_v this_o doctrine_n then_o shall_v it_o at_o the_o last_o day_n be_v a_o bill_n of_o enditement_n against_o thou_o for_o if_o it_o save_v thou_o not_o it_o shall_v condemn_v thou_o think_v of_o it_o therefore_o serious_o as_o a_o matter_n that_o concern_v thy_o soul_n and_o body_n yea_o and_o thy_o posterity_n and_o this_o whole_a realm_n all_o which_o shall_v smart_v for_o it_o if_o we_o repent_v not_o and_o if_o the_o body_n of_o our_o people_n and_o those_o who_o heart_n be_v wed_v to_o this_o world_n will_v not_o entertain_v this_o doctrine_n then_o i_o turn_v unto_o you_o that_o fear_v the_o lord_n and_o to_o you_o i_o direct_v my_o last_o warning_n search_v o_o search_n and_o try_v your_o heart_n and_o life_n renew_v and_o revive_v your_o faith_n and_o repentance_n that_o if_o judgement_n do_v come_v and_o blow_v upon_o this_o nation_n and_o drive_v the_o gospel_n from_o it_o and_o it_o to_o hell_n that_o yet_o you_o may_v have_v a_o testimony_n to_o your_o conscience_n that_o you_o do_v not_o pull_v down_o this_o general_a calamity_n but_o for_o your_o part_n labour_v to_o have_v prevent_v it_o by_o your_o earnest_a prayer_n and_o hearty_a repentance_n that_o so_o the_o posterity_n ensue_v may_v not_o curse_v you_o but_o speak_v reverent_o of_o you_o and_o praise_n god_n for_o you_o and_o wish_v that_o all_o have_v do_v as_o you_o do_v for_o than_o have_v they_o enjoy_v this_o goodly_a land_n and_o all_o god_n blessing_n with_o it_o as_o we_o their_o forefather_n do_v before_o they_o &_o so_o shall_v our_o name_n not_o rot_v but_o flourish_n among_o the_o posterity_n to_o come_v which_o shall_v be_v partaker_n of_o the_o desolation_n and_o when_o we_o have_v renew_v our_o repentance_n let_v we_o then_o every_o one_o of_o we_o deal_v with_o the_o lord_n by_o earnest_a prayer_n for_o this_o church_n and_o nation_n that_o the_o lord_n will_v show_v his_o mercy_n upon_o it_o and_o continue_v unto_o it_o this_o place_n &_o the_o gospel_n it_o be_v nothing_o with_o the_o lord_n to_o do_v it_o his_o powerful_a hand_n be_v not_o shorten_v he_o can_v continue_v our_o peace_n when_o the_o papist_n look_v for_o hurliburlies_a he_o can_v continue_v the_o gospel_n when_o they_o hope_v to_o set_v up_o their_o idolatry_n again_o let_v we_o therefore_o apply_v the_o lord_n with_o our_o prayer_n and_o with_o moses_n set_v ourselves_o in_o the_o breach_n and_o pray_v for_o the_o ignorances_n of_o the_o multitude_n and_o bewail_v their_o sin_n who_o bewail_v not_o their_o own_o so_o do_v 14._o noah_n daniel_n and_o job_n in_o their_o age_n and_o pray_v for_o the_o people_n in_o general_a calamity_n let_v we_o all_o be_v noah_n daniel_n and_o job_n in_o our_o generation_n if_o we_o do_v thus_o then_o when_o judgement_n come_v we_o shall_v either_o turn_v they_o away_o from_o our_o nation_n or_o at_o the_o least_o we_o shall_v deliver_v our_o own_o soul_n let_v we_o now_o turn_v to_o the_o lord_n in_o prayer_n and_o because_o it_o can_v be_v hope_v but_o that_o this_o our_o general_a sinfulness_n must_v needs_o end_v with_o some_o heavy_a judgement_n let_v we_o desire_v the_o lord_n still_o to_o defer_v our_o deserve_a punishment_n and_o still_o to_o spare_v we_o and_o to_o give_v we_o time_n and_o leisure_n to_o repent_v that_o so_o we_o enter_v into_o ourselves_o
