man_n be_v enemy_n to_o who_o soever_o be_v not_o a_o friend_n to_o the_o world_n how_o then_o can_v thes_n man_n hold_v of_o christ_n christ_n say_v we_o shall_v pray_v stil._n 5._o thes_n man_n pray_v never_o christ_n apostle_n say_v that_o covetousness_n uncleanness_n or_o scurrility_n shall_v not_o be_v so_o much_o as_o once_o name_v 10._o among_o christian_n thes_n man_n have_v no_o those_o thing_n which_o appertain_v unto_o god_n nor_o vigilant_a nor_o solicitous_a nor_o careful_a and_o much_o less_o instant_a and_o fervent_a and_o least_o of_o all_o perseverant_fw-la without_o intermission_n for_o that_o they_o never_o begin_v but_o on_o the_o contrary_a side_n they_o be_v careless_a negligent_a lumpish_a remisle_n key_n cold_a perverse_a contemn_v and_o despise_v yea_o loathe_v and_o abhor_v all_o matter_n that_o appertain_v to_o the_o mortifi_n of_o themselves_o and_o to_o the_o true_a service_n of_o god_n what_o part_n have_v thes_n man_n then_o in_o the_o lot_n and_o portion_n of_o christian_n beside_o only_o the_o bare_a name_n which_o profit_v nothing_o and_o this_o be_v sufficient_a to_o show_v how_o great_a and_o dangerous_a a_o impediment_n this_o careless_a man_n senseless_a and_o supine_n negligence_n be_v against_o the_o resolution_n whereof_o we_o entreat_v for_o if_o christ_n require_v to_o the_o perfection_n of_o this_o resolution_n that_o whosoever_o once_o espi_v 13._o out_o the_o treasure_n hide_v in_o the_o field_n which_o be_v the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n and_o the_o right_a way_n to_o gain_v it_o he_o shall_v present_o go_v and_o sell_v all_o that_o he_o have_v and_o buy_v that_o field_n that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o he_o shall_v prefer_v the_o pursuit_n of_o this_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n before_o all_o the_o commodity_n of_o this_o life_n whatsoever_o and_o rather_o venture_v they_o all_o then_o to_o omit_v this_o treasure_n if_o christ_n i_o say_v require_v this_o as_o he_o do_v when_o will_v thes_n man_n ever_o be_v bring_v to_o this_o point_n who_o will_v not_o geve_v the_o least_o part_n of_o their_o good_n to_o purchase_v that_o field_n nor_o go_v forth_o of_o the_o door_n to_o treat_v the_o buy_n thereof_o nor_o will_v so_o much_o as_o think_v or_o talk_v of_o the_o same_o nor_o allow_v of_o he_o which_o shall_v offer_v the_o mean_n &_o way_n to_o compass_v it_o wherefore_o whosoever_o find_v himself_o in_o this_o perilous_a disease_n i_o will_v counsel_v conclusion_n he_o to_o read_v some_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o part_n of_o this_o book_n especial_o the_o three_o &_o five_o entreat_v of_o the_o cause_n for_o which_o we_o be_v send_v into_o this_o world_n as_o also_o of_o the_o account_n which_o we_o must_v yield_v to_o god_n of_o our_o time_n here_o spend_v &_o he_o shall_v there_o understand_v i_o doubt_v not_o the_o error_n &_o danger_n he_o stand_v in_o by_o this_o damnable_a negligence_n wherein_o he_o sleep_v
