thing_n to_o thou_o to_o live_v like_o a_o dog_n in_o this_o world_n and_o then_o to_o boast_v thyself_o of_o thy_o election_n justification_n etc._n etc._n now_o thou_o be_v as_o far_o from_o heaven_n as_o a_o dog_n except_o in_o one_o time_n or_o other_o thou_o have_v a_o sense_n of_o this_o holiness_n in_o thou_o he_o say_v not_o simple_o we_o be_v call_v to_o sanctification_n but_o he_o holiness_n brethren_n think_v of_o god_n calling_n and_o of_o his_o person_n who_o have_v call_v you_o as_o you_o will_v this_o be_v most_o sure_a when_o god_n call_v thou_o to_o holiness_n it_o be_v impossible_a but_o that_o call_v must_v be_v effectual_a in_o you_o either_o one_o way_n or_o other_o and_o that_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o caller_n no_o that_o glorious_a person_n can_v open_v his_o mouth_n in_o vain_a for_o god_n word_n must_v take_v effect_n no_o word_n ever_o come_v out_o of_o his_o mouth_n but_o it_o his_fw-mi the_o full_a effect_n when_o he_o call_v thou_o to_o be_v holy_a earth_n thou_o shall_v never_o get_v remission_n of_o sin_n sanctification_n nor_o glorification_n now_o this_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o beguyle_n the_o world_n when_o they_o look_v to_o the_o vile_a ministry_n of_o man_n they_o can_v see_v god_n in_o it_o they_o look_v to_o the_o selie_o man_n they_o go_v no_o far_o who_o speak_v a_o selie_o man_n speak_v who_o call_v i_o i_o hear_v a_o selie_o resist_v god_n that_o be_v the_o principal_a worker_n the_o word_n be_v then_o contemn_v when_o the_o man_n be_v contemn_v in_o speak_v it_o resist_v man_n thou_o resist_v god_n who_o send_v the_o man_n can_v any_o man_n resist_v god_n and_o not_o be_v plague_v therefore_o if_o there_o be_v no_o repentance_n so_o they_o who_o be_v call_v to_o the_o ministry_n let_v they_o care_n for_o nothing_o though_o the_o word_n have_v nothing_o ado_n with_o the_o spirit_n nor_o the_o spirit_n with_o the_o
as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o mirror_n i_o may_v see_v or_o thou_o may_v see_v christ_n come_v to_o judge_v the_o world_n &_o to_o render_v to_o every_o one_o according_a to_o their_o desert_n for_o look_v how_o i_o or_o thou_o may_v reason_v when_o i_o see_v a_o person_n trouble_v for_o righteousness_n sake_n i_o will_v conclude_v here_o be_v a_o innocent_a man_n here_o be_v godly_a people_n trouble_v that_o natural_a light_n therefore_o when_o we_o see_v these_o lightmynded_a man_n and_o these_o that_o will_v be_v count_v lord_n and_o peer_n in_o the_o land_n repine_v to_o this_o glorious_a light_n of_o the_o gospel_n take_v up_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n that_o light_n upon_o they_o the_o lord_n suffer_v they_o to_o pass_v the_o bound_n of_o common_a honesty_n they_o be_v wrap_v up_o in_o a_o reprobat_fw-la sense_n count_z no_o more_o of_o they_o then_o of_o mad_a man_n who_o the_o lord_n in_o justice_n shall_v confound_v for_o ever_o no_o if_o they_o be_v here_o i_o will_v say_v they_o be_v mad_a man_n run_v headlong_o under_o the_o vengeance_n of_o god_n to_o destruction_n the_o lord_n give_v they_o eye_n to_o see_v this_o and_o heart_n to_o understand_v that_o they_o may_v be_v reclaim_v from_o this_o fierce_a wrath_n of_o the_o lord_n they_o want_v both_o natural_a wit_n and_o supernatural_a for_o he_o that_o will_v not_o suffer_v this_o light_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o be_v conjoin_v with_o this_o natural_a light_n he_o his_fw-mi no_o wit_n at_o all_o he_o be_v a_o mad_a body_n he_o will_v not_o care_v to_o do_v whatsoever_o evil_o he_o may_v both_o to_o himself_o and_o other_o the_o lord_n save_o we_o from_o this_o sort_n of_o man_n in_o the_o verse_n that_o follow_v first_o we_o have_v the_o effect_n that_o ensue_v upon_o this_o sin_n of_o believe_v of_o lie_n upon_o the_o first_o sin_n the_o contemn_v of_o the_o truth_n follow_v the_o next_o sin_n of_o believe_v error_n and_o lie_n upon_o this_o sin_n again_o follow_v judgement_n and_o indignation_n that_o they_o may_v be_v condemn_v say_v he_o in_o the_o next_o part_n of_o the_o verse_n he_o repeat_v the_o two_o sin_n upon_o the_o which_o damnation_n proceed_v the_o first_o be_v insidelitie_n who_o believe_v not_o the_o truth_n the_o second_o be_v believe_v of_o lie_n and_o untruth_n and_o all_o manner_n of_o unrighteousness_n he_o join_v these_o two_o together_o not_o believe_v the_o truth_n and_o believe_a lie_n and_o they_o go_v together_o necessary_o for_o if_o thou_o believe_v not_o the_o truth_n of_o necessity_n thou_o shall_v believe_v untruth_n if_o thy_o hart_n repose_v not_o on_o god_n and_o his_o truth_n of_o necessity_n thy_o hart_n shall_v repose_v on_o the_o devil_n and_o untruth_n the_o hart_n can_v want_v some_o faith_n thou_o must_v have_v some_o faith_n and_o something_o to_o put_v thy_o confidence_n in_o â—shal_v make_v this_o plain_a the_o hart_n of_o the_o creature_n can_v stand_v alone_o but_o especial_o the_o hart_n of_o the_o sinful_a man_n can_v stand_v up_o except_o it_o have_v a_o leaning-stock_n or_o prop_n to_o uphold_v it_o the_o heart_n of_o all_o the_o king_n of_o the_o earth_n can_v stand_v alone_o but_o they_o must_v repose_v on_o something_o satan_n manshart_o must_v either_o stand_v on_o god_n or_o on_o satan_n for_o this_o be_v the_o difference_n between_o god_n and_o the_o creature_n god_n will_v stand_v he_o alone_o he_o need_v not_o a_o foundation_n or_o lean_v stock_n as_o the_o creature_n needs_o for_o it_o must_v lean_v ever_o on_o something_o or_o else_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o it_o to_o stand_v now_o there_o be_v two_o thing_n whereon_o man_n repose_v either_o man_n repose_v himself_o on_o god_n &_o his_o truth_n or_o else_o on_o the_o devil_n &_o his_o falsehood_n if_o thou_o lean_v not_o on_o god_n on_o jesus_n christ_n and_o his_o gospel_n of_o necessity_n thy_o confidence_n shall_v be_v on_o satan_n the_o antichrist_n vanity_n lie_n and_o falsehood_n well_o then_o when_o thou_o have_v lean_v thou_o over_o on_o satan_n and_o lie_v thou_o will_v stand_v no_o long_o nor_o do_v vanity_n and_o lie_n yea_o nor_o the_o devil_n will_v stand_v and_o he_o will_v not_o stand_v ay_o albeit_o he_o have_v strength_n for_o a_o time_n yet_o he_o and_o vanity_n and_o lie_n shall_v fall_v down_o and_o thou_o shall_v fall_v down_o with_o they_o for_o if_o thou_o be_v find_v lean_v on_o lie_v and_o on_o the_o antichrist_n thou_o shall_v perish_v with_o they_o the_o word_n he_o use_v be_v to_o be_v mark_v he_o say_v not_o they_o that_o beleve_v lie_n but_o they_o that_o have_v pleasure_n in_o unrighteousness_n even_o as_o we_o see_v and_o find_v by_o experience_n repose_v on_o god_n and_o his_o truth_n be_v with_o a_o joy_n of_o the_o soul_n so_o when_o a_o
