they_o have_v no_o power_n to_o follow_v it_o be_v bind_v in_o the_o chain_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o lead_v captive_a by_o satan_n at_o his_o pleasure_n and_o when_o they_o have_v bring_v themselves_o into_o this_o condition_n their_o ruin_n seem_v to_o be_v seal_v and_o without_o a_o miracle_n of_o god_n grace_n they_o be_v never_o to_o be_v reclaim_v nor_o do_v the_o mischief_n of_o this_o neglect_n end_n here_o but_o it_o extend_v itself_o to_o the_o public_a and_o to_o posterity_n if_o we_o neglect_v the_o good_a education_n of_o our_o child_n they_o will_v in_o all_o probability_n prove_v bad_a man_n and_o these_o will_v neglect_v their_o child_n and_o so_o the_o foundation_n of_o a_o endless_a mischief_n be_v lay_v and_o our_o posterity_n will_v be_v bad_a shall_v often_o consider_v that_o the_o neglect_n of_o this_o duty_n will_v not_o only_o involve_v they_o in_o the_o inconvenience_n and_o shame_n and_o sorrow_n of_o their_o child_n miscarriage_n but_o in_o a_o great_a measure_n in_o the_o guilt_n of_o it_o they_o will_v have_v a_o great_a share_n in_o all_o the_o evil_a they_o do_v and_o be_v in_o some_o sort_n chargeable_a with_o all_o the_o these_o methinks_v shall_v awaken_v your_o care_n and_o diligence_n but_o what_o be_v this_o to_o the_o guilt_n which_o will_v redound_v to_o you_o upon_o their_o account_n part_v of_o all_o their_o wickedness_n will_v be_v put_v upon_o your_o score_n and_o possible_o the_o sin_n which_o they_o commit_v many_o year_n after_o you_o be_v dead_a and_o go_v will_v follow_v you_o into_o the_o other_o and_o restraint_n from_o evil_a how_o will_v it_o make_v your_o ear_n to_o tingle_v when_o god_n shall_v arise_v terrible_o to_o judgement_n and_o say_v to_o you_o behold_v the_o child_n which_o i_o have_v give_v you_o they_o be_v ignorant_a and_o you_o instruct_v they_o not_o they_o make_v themselves_o vile_a and_o you_o restrain_v they_o not_o why_o do_v not_o you_o teach_v they_o at_o home_o and_o bring_v they_o to_o church_n to_o the_o public_a ordinance_n and_o worship_n of_o god_n and_o train_v they_o up_o to_o the_o exercise_n of_o piety_n and_o devotion_n but_o you_o do_v not_o only_o neglect_v to_o give_v they_o good_a instruction_n but_o you_o give_v they_o bad_a example_n and_o lo_o they_o have_v follow_v you_o to_o hell_n to_o be_v a_o addition_n to_o your_o torment_n there_o unnatural_a wretch_n that_o have_v thus_o neglect_v and_o by_o your_o neglect_n destroy_v those_o who_o happiness_n by_o so_o many_o bond_n of_o duty_n and_o affection_n you_o be_v oblige_v to_o procure_v behold_v the_o book_n be_v now_o open_a and_o there_o be_v not_o one_o prayer_n upon_o record_n that_o ever_o you_o put_v up_o for_o your_o child_n there_o be_v no_o memorial_n no_o not_o so_o much_o as_o of_o one_o hour_n that_o ever_o be_v serious_o spend_v to_o train_v they_o up_o to_o a_o sense_n of_o god_n and_o to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o their_o duty_n but_o on_o the_o
