great_a deal_n of_o success_n in_o his_o way_n immediate_o after_o god_n have_v cast_v he_o off_o so_o though_o god_n have_v cast_v off_o a_o man_n or_o a_o woman_n yet_o that_o man_n or_o woman_n may_v have_v much_o success_n in_o their_o way_n you_o that_o be_v mariner_n you_o can_v draw_v a_o argument_n that_o because_o you_o have_v have_v a_o good_a voyage_n and_o have_v past_o such_o success_n in_o war_n and_o yet_o be_v cast_v off_o for_o all_o that_o five_o other_o say_v we_o be_v not_o so_o vain_a to_o make_v outward_a prosperity_n a_o argument_n or_o ground_n that_o our_o sin_n be_v pardon_v but_o we_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n repent_v of_o they_o and_o turn_v from_o they_o and_o rely_v on_o god_n mercy_n through_o christ_n that_o our_o sin_n be_v pardon_v these_o be_v argument_n of_o a_o high_a nature_n than_o the_o former_a and_o if_o there_o be_v true_a sorrow_n unfeigned_a repentance_n reformation_n and_o a_o trust_n in_o god_n mercy_n through_o jesus_n christ_n they_o will_v be_v good_a argument_n indeed_o but_o now_o i_o shall_v show_v you_o there_o may_v be_v all_o these_o and_o yet_o sin_v not_o pardon_v yea_o a_o rely_v on_o christ_n at_o least_o so_o sin_v not_o pardon_v you_o know_v the_o example_n of_o ahab_n 1_o king_n 21.27_o to_o 29._o verse_n and_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v when_o ahab_n hear_v those_o word_n that_o he_o rend_v his_o clothes_n and_o put_v sackcloth_n upon_o his_o flesh_n and_o fast_v and_o lay_v in_o sackcloth_n and_o go_v soft_o when_o god_n do_v but_o send_v the_o prophet_n to_o tell_v he_o of_o his_o sin_n present_o a_o wonderful_a work_n of_o god_n put_v these_o together_o and_o then_o the_o result_n according_a to_o the_o point_n will_v be_v clear_a and_o full_a that_o bless_a be_v that_o man_n who_o sin_n be_v forgive_v and_o sure_o if_o there_o be_v such_o a_o mysterious_a and_o glorious_a work_n of_o god_n in_o pardon_v sin_n that_o man_n for_o who_o god_n shall_v work_v such_o a_o glorious_a work_n be_v a_o bless_a man_n indeed_o and_o now_o have_v do_v with_o this_o argument_n of_o the_o great_a mystery_n of_o godliness_n in_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n i_o proceed_v to_o another_o and_o it_o be_v this_o chap._n iu._n that_o pardon_n of_o sin_n not_o only_o be_v a_o mercy_n in_o itself_o but_o the_o foundation_n of_o many_o other_o mercy_n argument_n pardon_v of_o sin_n make_v a_o mâ—â—_n bless_v why_o because_o it_o be_v the_o foundation_n of_o abundance_n of_o other_o mercy_n it_o be_v a_o inlet_n to_o many_o other_o mercy_n therefore_o a_o great_a mercy_n it_o be_v a_o lead_a mercy_n it_o be_v as_o the_o queen_n of_o mercy_n that_o have_v a_o great_a and_o glorious_a train_n of_o other_o mercy_n attend_v on_o she_o indeed_o it_o be_v the_o very_a foundation_n of_o all_o the_o mercy_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n it_o be_v the_o principal_a mercy_n and_o the_o very_a foundation_n of_o all_o the_o mercy_n that_o be_v in_o the_o covenant_n and_o the_o inlet_n and_o open_n to_o they_o all_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n be_v a_o rich_a treasury_n have_v abundant_a store_n of_o mercy_n in_o it_o and_o this_o open_v to_o they_o all_o the_o current_n of_o all_o god_n mercy_n be_v stop_v by_o man_n sin_n though_o god_n have_v a_o infinite_a ocean_n of_o mercy_n yet_o the_o source_n and_o vent_n of_o all_o god_n mercy_n be_v stop_v now_o when_o god_n towards_o his_o creature_n for_o god_n delight_v in_o the_o communication_n of_o himself_o to_o his_o creature_n but_o now_o man_n sin_n make_v a_o dam_n and_o stop_v the_o pipe_n that_o not_o one_o drop_n of_o mercy_n can_v come_v forth_o not_o a_o drop_n of_o all_o that_o mercy_n that_o in_o the_o eternal_a purpose_n of_o god_n he_o have_v appoint_v in_o time_n shall_v come_v forth_o to_o such_o and_o such_o a_o poor_a creature_n but_o when_o he_o come_v to_o pardon_n and_o justification_n he_o pull_v out_o the_o plug_n and_o pull_v up_o the_o floodgate_n and_o sluice_n and_o then_o the_o spirit_n of_o bondage_n show_v we_o our_o bondage_n by_o our_o sin_n and_o work_a terror_n on_o the_o soul_n for_o it_o these_o fear_n be_v dispel_v for_o in_o our_o peace_n with_o god_n in_o the_o pardon_n of_o sin_n the_o matter_n of_o enemity_n between_o god_n and_o the_o soul_n be_v take_v away_o there_o be_v this_o in_o it_o which_o may_v have_v be_v add_v in_o the_o mystery_n when_o a_o prince_n pardon_v a_o malefactor_n he_o give_v he_o his_o life_n and_o he_o be_v glad_a go_v away_o but_o the_o prince_n regard_v he_o not_o any_o more_o and_o possible_o he_o may_v yet_o have_v
