the_o person_n against_o who_o any_o offence_n be_v commit_v be_v a_o great_a aggravation_n of_o the_o fault_n for_o which_o reason_n all_o offence_n against_o god_n be_v certain_o the_o great_a of_o all_o other_o but_o that_o crime_n shall_v hereby_o be_v heighten_v to_o a_o infinite_a degree_n can_v by_o no_o mean_n be_v admit_v and_o that_o for_o this_o plain_a reason_n because_o then_o the_o tolerable_a for_o some_o in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n than_o for_o other_o beside_o that_o by_o the_o same_o reason_n that_o the_o least_o sin_n that_o be_v commit_v against_o god_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v infinite_a because_o of_o its_o object_n the_o least_o punishment_n that_o be_v inflict_v by_o god_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v infinite_a because_o of_o its_o author_n and_o then_o to_o be_v torment_v in_o it_o be_v express_o call_v the_o second_o death_n 20.14_o but_o beside_o this_o they_o that_o argue_v from_o the_o force_n of_o these_o word_n that_o the_o punishment_n of_o annihilation_n be_v all_o the_o meaning_n and_o effect_n of_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o great_a day_n second_o another_o inconvenience_n of_o this_o opinion_n be_v that_o if_o annihilation_n be_v all_o the_o punishment_n of_o sinner_n in_o the_o other_o world_n than_o the_o punishment_n of_o all_o sinner_n must_v of_o necessity_n be_v equal_a because_o there_o be_v no_o degree_n of_o annihilation_n or_o not-being_a but_o this_o also_o be_v most_o direct_o contrary_a to_o scripture_n as_o i_o have_v already_o show_v i_o know_v very_o well_o that_o some_o who_o be_v of_o this_o notwithstanding_o a_o plain_a and_o express_v threaten_v of_o the_o vengeance_n of_o eternal_a fire_n we_o still_o go_v on_o to_o treasure_n up_o to_o ourselves_o wrath_n against_o the_o day_n of_o it_o into_o error_n and_o folly_n but_o we_o be_v conscious_a to_o all_o the_o secret_a spring_n and_o motive_n and_o circumstance_n of_o our_o own_o action_n we_o can_v descend_v into_o our_o own_o flatterer_n but_o our_o conscience_n whenever_o they_o be_v thorough_o awaken_v be_v always_o sincere_a and_o deal_v true_o with_o we_o and_o speak_v to_o we_o as_o they_o think_v therefore_o whatever_o we_o say_v or_o do_v let_v it_o be_v sincere_a for_o though_o hypocrisy_n may_v for_o a_o while_o preserve_v our_o esteem_n and_o reputation_n with_o other_o yet_o it_o can_v signify_v
