it_o be_v the_o ordinary_a lot_n of_o the_o lord_n people_n and_o a_o thing_n which_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v they_o undoubted_o to_o expect_v to_o meet_v with_o a_o unjust_a measure_n and_o unrighteous_a sentence_n from_o the_o judgement-seat_n of_o man_n who_o do_v usual_o either_o through_o blindness_n of_o judgement_n act._n 3._o 17._o or_o perverseness_n of_o will_n zech._n 7._o 9_o with_o 11._o condemn_v the_o innocent_a and_o absolve_v the_o guilty_a for_o while_o he_o say_v that_o the_o render_n unto_o every_o man_n his_o due_a be_v a_o righteous_a thing_n with_o god_n he_o suffering_n from_o the_o faith_n of_o this_o that_o the_o lord_n shall_v either_o now_o or_o afterward_o one_o time_n or_o other_o reckon_v in_o wrath_n and_o strict_a justice_n with_o their_o obstinate_a and_o godless_a persecutor_n and_o therefore_o the_o lord_n people_n may_v and_o shall_v comfort_v themselves_o and_o rejoice_v in_o the_o approach_a ruin_n of_o their_o enemy_n though_o not_o as_o it_o be_v their_o misery_n job_n 31._o 29._o yet_o as_o the_o necessary_a result_n of_o their_o ruin_n be_v god_n glory_n psal._n 59_o 13._o and_o as_o it_o shall_v be_v make_v thereby_o sometime_o without_o ground_n psal._n 88_o 3._o do_v vex_v and_o trouble_v they_o and_o what_o from_o god_n himself_o job_n 6._o 4._o who_o do_v not_o see_v a_o constant_a rest_n here_o to_o be_v sit_v for_o they_o psal._n 55._o 19_o but_o their_o rest_n in_o all_o these_o respect_n shall_v be_v afterward_o for_o while_o he_o say_v it_o be_v a_o righteous_a thing_n with_o god_n to_o give_v he_o shall_v come_v to_o be_v admire_v say_v he_o 7._o as_o heaven_n and_o glory_n shall_v be_v enjoy_v only_o by_o believer_n and_o saint_n so_o all_o those_o be_v saint_n who_o be_v believer_n and_o all_o be_v believer_n who_o be_v saint_n there_o be_v a_o inseparable_a connexion_n betwixt_o save_a faith_n and_o inherent_a holiness_n as_o betwixt_o a_o necessary_a cause_n and_o the_o effect_n which_o flow_v from_o it_o for_o he_o put_v the_o saint_n and_o they_o that_o believe_v the_o one_o for_o the_o other_o and_o show_v that_o glory_n be_v the_o portion_n of_o such_o only_a to_o be_v glorify_v in_o his_o saint_n and_o admire_v in_o all_o they_o that_o believe_v 8._o though_o there_o be_v degree_n of_o glory_n in_o heaven_n dan._n 12._o 3._o yet_o the_o mean_a believer_n shall_v enjoy_v so_o much_o as_o the_o most_o enlarge_a heart_n can_v once_o imagine_v or_o comprehend_v while_o we_o be_v here_o for_o paul_n say_v he_o will_v be_v admire_v in_o all_o they_o that_o believe_v even_o the_o mean_a believer_n not_o except_v 9_o our_o choice_a comfort_n while_o we_o be_v here_o on_o earth_n consist_v in_o those_o thing_n which_o we_o have_v not_o in_o hand_n but_o obstinacy_n unto_o death_n for_o it_o be_v here_o foretell_v he_o shall_v so_o prevail_v only_o in_o those_o who_o perish_v 5._o when_o foul_a and_o most_o dangerous_a error_n be_v carry_v on_o with_o fair_a pretext_n subtle_a insinuation_n pithy_a persuasion_n they_o will_v not_o want_v a_o multitude_n of_o blind_a follower_n for_o antichristian_a untruth_n be_v carry_v on_o by_o all_o deceiveableness_n be_v receive_v general_o by_o those_o who_o perish_v 6._o though_o the_o lord_n have_v no_o regard_n to_o the_o future_a sin_n of_o reprobate_n as_o the_o cause_n of_o their_o reprobation_n rom._n 9_o 11_o 12._o yet_o he_o actual_o condemn_v none_o of_o those_o no_o not_o the_o antichrist_n most_o active_a follower_n who_o sin_n be_v not_o the_o cause_n of_o their_o condemnation_n and_o therefore_o none_o shall_v have_v reason_n to_o complain_v that_o they_o do_v perish_v unjust_o and_o without_o a_o cause_n for_o the_o cause_n why_o they_o perish_v be_v here_o express_v because_o they_o receive_v not_o the_o love_n of_o the_o truth_n 7._o among_o all_o the_o sin_n of_o a_o people_n profess_v christ_n which_o deserve_v condemnation_n and_o for_o which_o reprobate_n shall_v actual_o be_v condemn_v the_o contempt_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v the_o first_o and_o chief_a it_o be_v a_o sin_n against_o the_o remedy_n of_o sin_n and_o which_o provoke_v the_o lord_n in_o his_o holy_a justice_n to_o give_v up_o the_o person_n guilty_a to_o the_o power_n and_o slavery_n of_o several_a other_o sin_n so_o that_o uncleanness_n murder_n perjury_n etc._n etc._n be_v but_o stream_n flow_v from_o this_o woeful_a fountain_n for_o he_o mention_v none_o of_o their_o other_o sin_n as_o the_o cause_n of_o their_o destruction_n but_o this_o alone_a because_o they_o receive_v not_o the_o love_n of_o the_o truth_n say_v he_o 8._o if_o even_o the_o least_o report_n of_o gospel_n truth_n and_o of_o christ_n be_v not_o receive_v and_o make_v welcome_a it_o be_v a_o sin_n sufficient_a to_o provoke_v the_o lord_n to_o plague_v the_o person_n guilty_a in_o such_o a_o manner_n as_o he_o shall_v never_o recover_v but_o undoubted_o perish_v and_o therefore_o how_o much_o more_o when_o christ_n and_o the_o gospel_n be_v full_o and_o plain_o teach_v and_o yet_o the_o gracious_a offer_n of_o mercy_n therein_o contain_v be_v abuse_v and_o slight_v for_o it_o be_v but_o a_o small_a and_o pass_a report_n of_o truth_n and_o christ_n which_o many_o of_o antichrist_n follower_n do_v hear_v be_v compare_v with_o what_o we_o now_o enjoy_v and_o yet_o they_o perish_v because_o they_o receive_v not_o the_o truth_n in_o love_n 9_o it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a to_o receive_v the_o truth_n because_o the_o politic_a law_n of_o the_o land_n enjoin_v so_o much_o or_o upon_o any_o other_o account_n but_o from_o love_n to_o it_o otherwise_o satan_n antichrist_n or_o some_o suitable_a tentation_n from_o any_o other_o art_n will_v easy_o prevail_v to_o make_v he_o who_o have_v so_o receive_v it_o slip_v from_o it_o for_o they_o perish_v and_o be_v give_v over_o to_o antichrist_n delusion_n as_o appear_v from_o v_o 11._o because_o they_o receive_v not_o the_o love_n of_o the_o truth_n 10._o there_o be_v no_o middle_n betwixt_o heaven_n and_o hell_n salvation_n and_o condemnation_n if_o a_o man_n attain_v not_o the_o former_a he_o can_v by_o any_o mean_n escape_v the_o latter_a and_o if_o he_o do_v not_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n to_o heaven_n he_o do_v ipso_fw-la facto_fw-la and_o without_o any_o further_a post_n swift_o forward_o to_o hell_n and_o condemnation_n for_o he_o prove_v they_o can_v not_o but_o perish_v and_o be_v condemn_v because_o they_o refuse_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n wherein_o they_o may_v be_v save_v even_o because_o they_o receive_v not_o the_o love_n of_o the_o truth_n that_o they_o may_v be_v save_v ver._n 11._o and_o for_o this_o cause_n god_n shall_v send_v they_o strong_a delusion_n that_o they_o shall_v believe_v a_o lie_n he_o do_v here_o further_o describe_v the_o uâ—ssals_n of_o antichrist_n kingdom_n three_o from_o a_o high_a degree_n of_o their_o sin_n they_o will_v not_o only_o reject_v truth_n but_o also_o believe_v a_o lie_n that_o be_v give_v a_o firm_a assent_n without_o any_o contrary_a doubt_n to_o gross_a untruth_n and_o error_n as_o to_o the_o very_a truth_n of_o god_n which_o their_o sin_n be_v set_v forth_o from_o a_o necessary_a antecedent_n of_o it_o the_o lord_n his_o send_v they_o strong_a delusion_n for_o this_o cause_n to_o wit_n for_o their_o not_o receive_v the_o love_n of_o the_o truth_n speak_v of_o v_o 10._o where_o by_o strong_a delusion_n or_o as_o the_o word_n do_v signify_v efficacy_n of_o error_n and_o seduction_n be_v not_o mean_v error_n itself_o but_o the_o prevalency_n and_o pith_n of_o error_n so_o that_o when_o tentation_n to_o error_n shall_v be_v propound_v by_o satan_n and_o his_o emissary_n they_o will_v undoubted_o prevail_v and_o this_o efficacy_n of_o error_n be_v attribute_v to_o god_n send_v not_o as_o if_o the_o lord_n do_v incite_v or_o persuade_v man_n to_o believe_v error_n for_o he_o forbid_v and_o condemn_v they_o 2_o pet._n 3._o 17._o but_o because_o he_o not_o only_o give_v loose_a reins_o unto_o satan_n to_o use_v his_o power_n of_o seduction_n against_o they_o 1_o king_n 22._o 22._o but_o also_o rain_v snare_n upon_o they_o and_o active_o bring_v about_o many_o thing_n in_o his_o providence_n which_o be_v in_o themselves_o good_a be_v yet_o stumble_v on_o by_o they_o in_o their_o corruption_n so_o as_o they_o be_v thereby_o further_v to_o close_v with_o the_o tentation_n job_n 21._o 7_o etc._n etc._n with_o 14._o withhold_v his_o grace_n whereby_o they_o may_v resist_v tentation_n 2_o chron._n 32._o 31._o yea_o and_o actual_o in_o his_o judgement_n withdraw_v and_o after_o a_o sort_n extinguish_v that_o strength_n and_o light_n which_o he_o have_v former_o give_v and_o they_o abuse_v matth._n 25._o 29._o so_o that_o they_o can_v but_o succumb_v when_o they_o be_v tempt_v doct._n 1._o it_o be_v not_o inconsistent_a with_o the_o lord_n holiness_n but_o most_o agreeable_a to_o his_o the_o terrible_a judgement_n here_o denounce_v for_o this_o â—_o cause_n god_n shall_v send_v they_o strong_a delusion_n 3._o that_o a_o error_n when_o it_o be_v vent_v become_v mighty_o prevalent_a
