such_o allowable_a gratification_n so_o the_o sensual_a and_o corrupt_a nature_n of_o man_n crave_v these_o sensitive_a pleasure_n beyond_o bound_n and_o moderation_n it_o prefer_v they_o before_o rational_a and_o divine_a pleasure_n it_o appear_v to_o relish_v no_o enjoyment_n like_o those_o of_o sense_n it_o glut_v itself_o with_o sensitive_a pleasure_n so_o as_o to_o surfeit_v on_o these_o sweet_n iii_o when_o he_o glut_v himself_o so_o as_o to_o surfeit_v on_o these_o sweet_n there_o be_v nothing_o which_o do_v more_o decay_n nature_n which_o bring_v upon_o we_o more_o desperate_a and_o incurable_a disease_n and_o do_v more_o precipitate_a and_o hasten_v a_o sudden_a death_n than_o excess_n in_o the_o gratification_n of_o man_n lust_n and_o appetite_n but_o this_o be_v gross_o to_o abuse_v the_o creature_n of_o god_n which_o be_v allow_v we_o only_o for_o our_o use_n it_o be_v to_o make_v but_o a_o ungrateful_a return_n to_o he_o for_o all_o his_o bounty_n and_o be_v unnatural_o to_o destroy_v ourselves_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o a_o paltry_a pleasure_n which_o vanish_v in_o the_o very_a enjoyment_n of_o a_o pleasure_n which_o be_v mix_v with_o more_o bitter_a ingredient_n than_o gall_n and_o wormwood_n for_o even_o in_o their_o laughter_n the_o heart_n of_o those_o sensual_a man_n be_v sorrowful_a and_o the_o end_n of_o their_o mirth_n be_v heaviness_n prov._n 14.13_o last_o the_o deliciousness_n of_o those_o pleasure_n must_v not_o cause_v any_o one_o to_o load_v and_o burden_n his_o nature_n therewith_o to_o that_o degree_n as_o to_o render_v he_o receive_v no_o great_a hurt_n from_o it_o and_o therefore_o they_o will_v allow_v we_o to_o think_v of_o good_a to_o spend_v a_o faint_a relish_n a_o sudden_a inclination_n or_o fruitless_a desire_n upon_o it_o but_o if_o once_o we_o will_v go_v on_o to_o do_v our_o duty_n and_o to_o begin_v obedience_n then_o begin_v the_o conflict_n our_o lust_n then_o bestir_v themselves_o with_o might_n and_o commandment_n we_o must_v not_o think_v to_o pick_v and_o choose_v in_o the_o do_n of_o our_o duty_n for_o if_o we_o do_v not_o obey_v all_o we_o obey_v not_o right_a in_o any_o because_o all_o the_o law_n of_o god_n be_v bind_v upon_o we_o by_o the_o same_o power_n and_o enjoin_v by_o the_o same_o authority_n so_o that_o if_o we_o fulfil_v any_o one_o upon_o this_o account_n of_o his_o have_v require_v it_o the_o same_o reason_n hold_v for_o the_o fulfil_n of_o all_o the_o rest_n this_o indeed_o be_v very_o hardly_o believe_v because_o it_o be_v so_o hard_a to_o practice_v for_o almost_o every_o man_n have_v some_o sin_n or_o other_o which_o he_o can_v as_o well_o die_v as_o part_v with_o it_o have_v get_v his_o heart_n and_o be_v become_v the_o master_n of_o his_o affection_n and_o since_o he_o love_v it_o so_o dear_o he_o hope_v god_n will_v bear_v with_o it_o too_o and_o when_o man_n be_v thus_o desirous_a to_o obey_v god_n by_o half_n and_o will_v hope_v that_o this_o may_v serve_v the_o turn_n they_o take_v to_o themselves_o false_a ground_n and_o confidence_n under_o which_o they_o shelter_v themselves_o in_o the_o allowance_n or_o indulgence_n of_o such_o sin_n as_o they_o be_v resolve_v to_o practice_v and_o when_o they_o do_v wilful_o continue_v in_o the_o practice_n of_o any_o sin_n they_o usual_o plead_v one_o or_o more_o of_o these_o thing_n in_o excuse_n excuse_n this_o endeavour_v to_o be_v evade_v by_o excuse_n first_o that_o they_o sin_v for_o the_o preservation_n of_o their_o religion_n and_o themselves_o in_o time_n of_o danger_n and_o persecution_n or_o second_o for_o the_o supply_n of_o their_o necessity_n by_o sinful_a art_n compliance_n and_o service_n and_o in_o time_n of_o want_n and_o indigency_n or_o three_o for_o the_o
