jerusatem_n shall_v be_v inhabit_v in_o her_o place_n etc._n etc._n and_o man_n shall_v dwell_v in_o it_o 3._o the_o lord_n will_v when_o he_o see_v it_o fit_a and_o his_o time_n be_v come_v not_o only_o restore_v his_o people_n but_o preserve_v they_o be_v restore_v and_o put_v a_o end_n to_o their_o calamity_n in_o so_o far_o as_o whatever_o trouble_n they_o may_v have_v to_o exercise_v they_o yet_o they_o shall_v not_o utter_o be_v destroy_v or_o lie_v under_o such_o calamity_n as_o may_v prove_v they_o devote_v to_o a_o curse_n for_o there_o shill_n be_v no_o more_o utter_a destruction_n or_o no_o more_o anathema_n 4._o the_o lord_n will_v sometime_o even_o give_v his_o people_n a_o breathe_n from_o trouble_n after_o long_o toss_v as_o well_o as_o exemption_n from_o ruin_n by_o their_o trouble_n when_o they_o come_v and_o however_o the_o church_n be_v not_o always_o so_o deal_v with_o yet_o she_o be_v the_o place_n of_o great_a security_n for_o habitation_n in_o all_o the_o world_n and_o where_o the_o lord_n people_n may_v take_v their_o hazard_n of_o any_o lot_n that_o may_v come_v with_o great_a confidence_n for_o jerusalem_n shall_v be_v safe_o inhabit_v or_o abide_v in_o confidence_n verse_n 12._o and_o this_o shall_v be_v the_o plague_n wherewith_o the_o lord_n will_v smite_v all_o the_o people_n that_o have_v fight_v against_o jerusalem_n their_o their_o own_o ruin_n for_o there_o be_v a_o plague_n for_o all_o the_o people_n that_o have_v fight_v against_o jerusalem_n 2._o the_o lord_n need_v neither_o army_n nor_o advantage_n of_o visible_a help_n or_o time_n wherewith_o to_o plague_v his_o enemy_n but_o as_o he_o usual_o reserve_v such_o for_o his_o own_o hand_n so_o he_o can_v so_o sudden_o and_o unexpected_o consume_v their_o strength_n and_o power_n as_o may_v make_v their_o ruin_n a_o wonder_n to_o themselves_o and_o other_o for_o their_o flesh_n shall_v consnme_v away_o while_o they_o stand_v upon_o their_o foot_n before_o they_o get_v so_o much_o as_o leisure_n to_o sit_v down_o and_o be_v sick_a some_o proof_n whereof_o be_v give_v on_o antiochus_n 1_o mac._n 6._o and_o herod_n act._n 12._o 3._o as_o man_n part_n of_o prudence_n or_o eloquence_n will_v prove_v nothing_o when_o god_n be_v a_o party_n so_o the_o insolency_n blasphemy_n and_o cruel_a hope_n of_o enemy_n to_o see_v the_o church_n ruin_v will_v be_v more_o severe_o avenge_v then_o their_o afflict_v otherwise_o and_o a_o end_n will_v be_v put_v to_o it_o by_o god_n plague_v they_o for_o this_o consume_a of_o their_o eye_n and_o tongue_n import_v not_o so_o much_o a_o consume_n of_o these_o particular_a member_n as_o in_o general_a a_o blast_a of_o their_o part_n and_o ability_n under_o this_o stroke_n whether_o of_o prudence_n in_o foresee_v and_o take_v up_o of_o thing_n or_o eloquence_n to_o express_v themselves_o whereby_o man_n have_v sometime_o expede_n themselves_o out_o of_o trouble_n and_o in_o particular_a that_o their_o haughty_a eye_n and_o blasphemous_a tongue_n shall_v suffer_v especial_o and_o that_o this_o stroke_n shall_v consume_v their_o eye_n which_o hope_v first_o to_o see_v the_o destruction_n of_o the_o church_n and_o their_o tongue_n wherewith_o they_o hope_v to_o boast_v of_o victory_n ver._n 13_o and_o it_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v in_o that_o day_n that_o a_o great_a tumult_n from_o the_o lord_n shall_v be_v among_o they_o and_o they_o shall_v lay_v hold_v every_o one_o on_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o neighbour_n and_o his_o hand_n shall_v rise_v up_o against_o the_o hand_n of_o his_o neighbour_n the_o second_o judgement_n upon_o they_o shall_v be_v intestine_a dissension_n from_o the_o lord_n so_o that_o they_o shall_v in_o a_o hostile_a manner_n lie_v hold_v on_o and_o rise_v up_o against_o one_o another_o doct._n 1._o the_o lord_n need_v no_o more_o for_o ruine_v enemy_n but_o their_o own_o sword_n he_o can_v divide_v their_o tongue_n and_o hand_n and_o make_v a_o babel_n of_o they_o every_o one_o hinder_v or_o overturning_a another_o for_o they_o shall_v lay_v hold_v every_o one_o not_o

neighbour_n verse_n 14._o and_o judah_n also_o shall_v fight_v at_o jerusalem_n and_o the_o wealth_n of_o all_o the_o heathen_a round_o about_o shall_v be_v gather_v together_o gold_n and_o silver_n and_o apparel_n in_o great_a abundance_n the_o three_o judgement_n upon_o they_o shall_v be_v that_o god_n shall_v employ_v his_o people_n to_o act_v for_o their_o own_o defence_n and_o give_v they_o so_o complete_a a_o victory_n as_o that_o they_o shall_v gather_v the_o rich_a spoil_n of_o enemy_n to_o make_v up_o themselves_o doct._n 1._o albeit_o deliverance_n to_o the_o church_n be_v sweet_a by_o whatever_o mean_v god_n send_v it_o yet_o it_o be_v a_o special_a token_n of_o favour_n when_o god_n employ_v his_o people_n and_o make_v they_o instrumental_a in_o their_o own_o deliverance_n from_o the_o like_a attempt_n in_o time_n come_v and_o let_v it_o be_v see_v how_o he_o resent_v his_o people_n wrong_n in_o ruine_v they_o and_o they_o who_o have_v hand_n in_o it_o for_o horse_n mule_n etc._n etc._n that_o be_v in_o these_o tent_n be_v plague_v as_o well_o as_o man_n 2._o it_o be_v the_o great_a sin_n of_o man_n that_o be_v the_o creature_n lord_n he_o shall_v employ_v they_o against_o god_n and_o so_o bring_v they_o under_o the_o stroke_n of_o wrath_n and_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o much_o misery_n on_o all_o thing_n as_o well_o as_o himself_o for_o these_o enemy_n bring_v all_o these_o creature_n to_o be_v plague_v with_o themselves_o 3._o god_n justice_n upon_o the_o very_a senseless_a or_o irrational_a creature_n ought_v to_o be_v lay_v to_o heart_n as_o well_o as_o tie_v to_o any_o special_a place_n under_o the_o gospel_n but_o the_o public_a worship_n of_o christian_n wherever_o they_o dwell_v make_v it_o a_o jerusalem_n 3._o this_o keep_n of_o the_o feast_n of_o tabernacle_n be_v not_o to_o be_v understand_v literal_o in_o regard_n the_o ceremonial_a law_n be_v abolish_v by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n but_o the_o spiritual_a public_a worship_n of_o the_o church_n be_v point_v at_o which_o be_v signify_v by_o these_o solemn_a feast_n and_o particular_o this_o feast_n be_v pitch_v on_o rather_o than_o another_o 1._o because_o it_o be_v a_o feast_n of_o great_a joy_n leu._n 23.40_o signify_v that_o the_o new_a testament_n afford_v not_o only_a matter_n of_o feast_v but_o cause_n of_o exceed_a joy_n 2._o because_o this_o feast_n shadow_v out_o christ_n incarnation_n and_o dwell_v in_o the_o tabernacle_n of_o our_o flesh_n joh._n 1.14_o which_o be_v the_o chief_a subject_n and_o matter_n of_o joy_n to_o the_o church_n of_o the_o new_a clear_a convince_a light_n be_v disobey_v ripen_v for_o sad_a stroke_n 3._o where_o the_o gospel_n and_o christ_n offer_v in_o it_o be_v not_o receive_v as_o it_o be_v a_o judgement_n sufficient_a
