holiness_n have_v be_v move_v to_o condemn_v those_o book_n but_o consider_v that_o both_o they_o be_v my_o adversary_n in_o this_o controversy_n and_o that_o they_o be_v move_v as_o i_o think_v rather_o by_o affection_n then_o by_o solid_a reason_n and_o also_o that_o they_o do_v foul_o corrupt_v my_o word_n and_o wrest_v they_o to_o a_o most_o bad_a sense_n and_o never_o intend_v by_o i_o as_o i_o can_v most_o clear_o demonstrate_v to_o your_o holiness_n if_o it_o be_v now_o a_o convenient_a time_n i_o do_v not_o think_v that_o so_o great_a authority_n be_v to_o be_v give_v either_o to_o their_o say_n or_o write_n of_o what_o learning_n or_o dignity_n so_o ever_o otherwise_o they_o be_v that_o they_o be_v of_o force_n to_o bind_v i_o either_o to_o embrace_v their_o opinion_n especial_o be_v ground_v upon_o so_o weak_a foundation_n or_o not_o to_o defend_v my_o innocence_n from_o their_o false_a accusation_n in_o such_o a_o exceed_a great_a crime_n as_o heresy_n be_v 3_o and_o that_o your_o holiness_n may_v clear_o perceive_v that_o i_o have_v already_o in_o these_o book_n which_o be_v forbid_v by_o your_o commandment_n purge_v myself_o as_o much_o as_o be_v sufficient_a for_o a_o child_n of_o the_o catholic_a church_n i_o think_v it_o necessary_a to_o repeat_v again_o with_o as_o much_o brevity_n as_o may_v be_v in_o what_o manner_n i_o have_v in_o those_o book_n make_v profession_n of_o the_o catholic_a faith_n which_o in_o my_o opinion_n abundant_o suffice_v for_o the_o purge_n of_o myself_o from_o all_o imputation_n of_o heresy_n error_n or_o any_o other_o crime_n which_o do_v depend_v on_o these_o and_o for_o what_o thing_n i_o make_v supplication_n to_o your_o holiness_n in_o that_o disputation_n of_o the_o oath_n of_o allegiance_n that_o thereby_o your_o holiness_n may_v manifest_o perceive_v that_o some_o person_n not_o of_o the_o mean_a degree_n although_o perchance_o with_o the_o ignorant_a sort_n of_o people_n they_o do_v great_o impair_v my_o credit_n yet_o they_o do_v also_o bring_v your_o holiness_n into_o no_o small_a obloquy_n both_o among_o prudent_a catholic_n and_o especial_o among_o those_o who_o be_v adversary_n to_o the_o catholic_a faith_n while_o they_o be_v not_o afraid_a to_o diwlge_v not_o so_o circumspect_o in_o my_o judgement_n as_o be_v fit_v that_o your_o holiness_n do_v in_o good_a earnest_n avouch_v that_o you_o think_v the_o author_n of_o that_o disputation_n to_o be_v neither_o a_o catholic_a nor_o a_o child_n of_o the_o church_n whereas_o the_o author_n do_v profess_v himself_o both_o to_o be_v a_o catholic_a and_o a_o child_n of_o the_o catholic_a roman_a church_n and_o submit_v most_o humble_o that_o disputation_n and_o all_o his_o other_o writing_n to_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o holy_a catholic_a roman_n church_n neither_o that_o you_o will_v accept_v of_o the_o dedication_n of_o that_o book_n whereas_o that_o dedication_n as_o it_o be_v manifest_a by_o the_o epistle_n of_o the_o author_n write_v to_o your_o holiness_n be_v only_o a_o most_o humble_a supplication_n of_o the_o author_n and_o of_o other_o catholic_n unto_o your_o holiness_n that_o your_o holiness_n as_o be_v the_o supreme_a pastor_n of_o the_o catholic_a church_n and_o who_o office_n be_v to_o instruct_v and_o confirm_v the_o sheep_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o catholic_a faith_n will_v be_v please_v to_o instruct_v they_o in_o the_o catholic_a faith_n &_o in_o those_o thing_n which_o your_o holiness_n have_v declare_v by_o your_o breve_n to_o be_v clear_o repugnant_a to_o faith_n and_o salvation_n and_o that_o your_o holiness_n do_v speak_v the_o aforesaid_a word_n both_o of_o the_o author_n and_o also_o of_o the_o dedication_n some_o here_o give_v forth_o that_o your_o holiness_n his_o nuntius_n then_o reside_v at_o brussels_n do_v signify_v as_o much_o to_o mr_n george_n birkâ—t_v the_o archpriest_n who_o be_v then_o live_v and_o that_o the_o same_o nuntius_n do_v withal_o affirm_v that_o he_o be_v certify_v some_o few_o day_n since_o of_o those_o thing_n for_o so_o be_v the_o express_a word_n of_o the_o nuntius_n his_o letter_n 1613._o letter_n
