be_v shall_v be_v name_v or_o appoint_v which_o say_v commissioner_n or_o such_o a_o quorum_fw-la of_o they_o as_o by_o such_o commission_n shall_v be_v thereunto_o authorize_v shall_v have_v full_a power_n to_o do_v all_o thing_n in_o and_o about_o the_o inquiry_n hear_v determine_a adjudge_v and_o punish_v of_o any_o of_o the_o crime_n and_o offence_n aforesaid_a as_o any_o commissioner_n to_o be_v appoint_v by_o commission_n under_o the_o great_a seal_n of_o england_n by_o virtue_n of_o a_o statute_n make_v in_o the_o twenty_o eight_o year_n of_o the_o reign_n of_o king_n henry_n the_o eight_o be_v impower_v to_o do_v and_o execute_v within_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n and_o that_o the_o say_v offender_n which_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v apprehend_v in_o or_o bring_v prisoner_n to_o this_o island_n shall_v be_v liable_a to_o such_o order_n process_n judgement_n and_o execution_n by_o virtue_n of_o such_o commission_n to_o be_v ground_v upon_o this_o act_n as_o may_v be_v award_v or_o give_v against_o they_o if_o they_o be_v proceed_v against_o within_o the_o realm_n of_o england_n by_o virtue_n of_o any_o commission_n ground_v upon_o the_o say_a statute_n and_o all_o trial_n heretofore_o have_v against_o such_o criminal_a or_o criminal_n before_o any_o judge_n or_o judge_n by_o virtue_n of_o such_o commission_n or_o authority_n at_o any_o time_n heretofore_o grant_v and_o all_o proceed_n thereupon_o be_v hereby_o ratify_v confirm_v and_o adjudge_v lawful_a and_o all_o such_o judge_n with_o all_o and_o every_o the_o inferior_a officer_n that_o have_v act_v thereby_o be_v hereby_o indemnify_v to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n whatsoever_o and_o in_o case_n they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v at_o any_o time_n hereafter_o be_v sue_v vex_v molest_a or_o trouble_v for_o any_o such_o their_o proceed_n as_o aforesaid_a he_o or_o they_o so_o sue_v vex_v or_o molest_v shall_v plead_v the_o general_n issue_n and_o give_v this_o act_n in_o evidence_n any_o law_n statute_n custom_n or_o usage_n to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o and_o every_o person_n or_o person_n that_o shall_v any_o way_n know_o entertain_v harbour_n conceal_v trade_n or_o hold_v any_o correspondence_n by_o letter_n or_o otherwise_o with_o any_o person_n or_o person_n that_o shall_v be_v deem_v or_o adjudge_v to_o be_v privateer_n pirate_n or_o other_o offender_n within_o the_o construction_n of_o this_o act_n and_o that_o shall_v not_o ready_o endeavour_v to_o the_o best_a of_o his_o or_o their_o power_n to_o apprehend_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v apprehend_v such_o offender_n or_o offender_n shall_v be_v liable_a to_o be_v prosecute_v as_o accessary_n and_o confederate_n and_o to_o suffer_v such_o pain_n and_o penalty_n as_o in_o such_o case_n by_o law_n be_v provide_v and_o for_o the_o better_a and_o more_o effectual_a execution_n of_o this_o act_n be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o commission-officer_n in_o their_o several_a precinct_n within_o this_o island_n be_v hereby_o require_v and_o empower_v upon_o his_o or_o their_o knowledge_n or_o notice_n give_v that_o any_o privateer_n pirate_n or_o other_o person_n suspect_v to_o be_v upon_o any_o unlawful_a design_n be_v in_o any_o place_n within_o their_o respective_a precinct_n to_o raise_v and_o levy_v such_o a_o number_n of_o well_o arm_a man_n as_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v think_v needful_a for_o the_o seize_v apprehend_v and_o carry_v to_o gaol_n all_o and_o every_o such_o person_n or_o person_n and_o in_o case_n of_o any_o resistance_n or_o refusal_n to_o yield_v obedience_n to_o his_o majesty_n authority_n it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a to_o kill_v or_o destroy_v such_o person_n or_o person_n and_o all_o and_o every_o person_n or_o person_n that_o shall_v oppose_v or_o resist_v by_o strike_v or_o fire_v upon_o any_o of_o the_o command_a party_n shall_v be_v deem_v take_v and_o adjudge_v as_o felon_n without_o benefit_n of_o the_o clergy_n and_o every_o such_o officer_n that_o shall_v omit_v or_o neglect_v his_o duty_n herein_o shall_v forfeit_v fifty_o pound_n currant_n money_n of_o this_o island_n for_o every_o such_o offence_n to_o be_v recover_v in_o any_o of_o his_o majesty_n court_n of_o record_n within_o this_o island_n by_o bill_n plaint_n or_o information_n wherein_o no_o essoign_n wager_n of_o law_n or_o protection_n shall_v be_v allow_v one_o moiety_n thereof_o to_o be_v to_o our_o sovereign_a lord_n the_o king_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n for_o and_o towards_o the_o support_n of_o the_o government_n of_o this_o island_n and_o the_o contingent_a charge_n thereof_o and_o the_o other_o moiety_n to_o the_o informer_n and_o all_o and_o every_o person_n or_o person_n that_o upon_o order_n give_v he_o or_o they_o shall_v refuse_v to_o repair_v immediate_o with_o his_o or_o their_o arm_n well_o fix_v and_o ammunition_n to_o such_o place_n or_o place_n as_o shall_v be_v appoint_v by_o the_o say_a officer_n and_o not_o ready_o obey_v his_o command_n in_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o premise_n shall_v be_v liable_a to_o such_o
