whereas_o it_o be_v far_o safe_a before_o incarnative_a and_o heal_a medicine_n to_o use_v corrosive_n and_o mundify_a water_n without_o which_o though_o some_o sore_n may_v seem_v to_o close_v and_o skin_n up_o apace_o yet_o they_o prove_v worse_o and_o be_v rot_v still_o at_o the_o core_n they_o have_v above_o a_o thin_a skin_n &_o underneath_o rot_a flesh_n in_o like_a manner_n we_o will_v cloak_n we_o will_v hide_v and_o cover_v our_o sin_n as_o it_o be_v with_o a_o curtain_n but_o it_o be_v more_o sound_a chirurgerie_n to_o prick_v and_o pierce_v our_o conscience_n with_o the_o burn_a whilst_o they_o be_v curable_a and_o after_o to_o make_v they_o know_v when_o they_o be_v uncurable_a so_o it_o be_v a_o great_a folly_n to_o dissemble_v our_o sin_n while_o they_o may_v be_v remedy_v and_o so_o after_o be_v constrain_v to_o blaze_v they_o all_o abroad_o when_o they_o be_v remediless_a but_o of_o this_o by_o the_o way_n because_o we_o shall_v more_o large_o touch_v it_o in_o the_o last_o part_n to_o come_v it_o be_v sufficient_a to_o commit_v sin_n before_o knowledge_n but_o after_o some_o good_a light_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o sin_n breed_v either_o hardness_n of_o heart_n sanctify_v by_o affliction_n whereby_o they_o be_v teach_v to_o put_v their_o gift_n in_o ure_n and_o to_o offer_v their_o service_n to_o christ_n and_o other_o be_v fear_v â—o_o hide_v their_o gift_n which_o can_v be_v without_o some_o decay_n of_o god_n glory_n without_o offence_n to_o the_o weak_a without_o the_o loss_n of_o many_o soul_n which_o otherwise_o may_v be_v win_v to_o the_o gospel_n for_o the_o want_n of_o sincerity_n and_o privy_a vainglory_n in_o themselves_o let_v we_o beware_v we_o go_v to_o the_o search_n of_o our_o heart_n in_o sin_n to_o come_v to_o speak_v somewhat_o of_o those_o man_n trouble_v for_o this_o privy_a pride_n they_o be_v touch_v or_o not_o touch_v if_o the_o veil_n of_o sin_n be_v great_a in_o they_o that_o it_o hide_v christ_n from_o they_o it_o be_v the_o good_a will_n of_o god_n that_o by_o this_o sight_n of_o their_o most_o secret_a sin_n they_o shall_v come_v to_o see_v the_o righteousness_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o so_o they_o shall_v be_v keep_v the_o better_a from_o be_v justiciarie_a pharisy_n for_o when_o be_v a_o long_a time_n well_o bring_v up_o &_o lead_v a_o civil_a life_n the_o devil_n will_v persuade_v we_o of_o some_o inherent_a righteousness_n in_o we_o it_o be_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n to_o touch_v we_o with_o the_o conscience_n of_o most_o hide_a corruption_n as_o also_o to_o make_v know_v unto_o we_o that_o even_o from_o our_o birth_n there_o be_v a_o secret_a feed_v of_o sin_n in_o we_o which_o without_o the_o lord_n watch_v over_o we_o will_v sure_o have_v break_v forth_o to_o his_o dishonour_n as_o for_o they_o which_o have_v have_v some_o work_v in_o they_o and_o yet_o be_v often_o plunge_v in_o sore_a distress_n this_o trouble_n come_v to_o they_o for_o two_o especial_a cause_n either_o for_o some_o hypocrisy_n which_o they_o do_v more_o in_o show_n than_o in_o truth_n wherefore_o the_o lord_n bring_v they_o back_o again_o to_o see_v their_o corrupt_a proceed_n &_o that_o they_o may_v know_v that_o all_o their_o religion_n be_v but_o hypocrisy_n and_o all_o their_o righteousness_n to_o be_v but_o unrighteousness_n or_o for_o the_o abuse_n of_o their_o knowledge_n in_o that_o they_o make_v it_o but_o a_o mask_n to_o juggle_v in_o and_o that_o they_o make_v their_o affection_n to_o fight_v with_o their_o own_o judgment_n we_o must_v remedy_v this_o by_o not_o think_v of_o
