no_o part_n and_o therefore_o not_o the_o propriety_n of_o a_o body_n which_o be_v to_o have_v figurative_a action_n it_o can_v be_v say_v of_o she_o that_o she_o be_v subject_a to_o composition_n division_n transmutation_n etc._n etc._n however_o put_v the_o case_n the_o supernatural_a soul_n shall_v have_v those_o propriety_n of_o a_o body_n although_o no_o body_n herself_o yet_o there_o can_v be_v but_o one_o infinite_a soul_n in_o one_o infinite_a body_n and_o as_o the_o body_n do_v divide_v so_o the_o soul_n must_v of_o necessity_n do_v also_o otherwise_o one_o soul_n will_v have_v the_o degree_n of_o animate_v and_o inanimate_a matter_n they_o be_v also_o but_o part_n of_o that_o one_o body_n of_o nature_n and_o the_o various_a and_o infinite_a knowledge_n perception_n life_n etc._n etc._n consider_v in_o general_a be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o life_n knowledge_n and_o perception_n of_o the_o infinite_a body_n of_o nature_n and_o from_o hence_o it_o follow_v that_o one_o man_n may_v have_v numerous_a soul_n as_o well_o as_o he_o have_v numerous_a part_n and_o particle_n which_o as_o long_o as_o the_o whole_a figure_n of_o man_n last_v their_o function_n and_o action_n be_v according_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o that_o figure_n but_o when_o the_o figure_n of_o man_n dissolve_v which_o dissolution_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o change_n of_o those_o motion_n that_o be_v proper_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o its_o figure_n than_o all_o the_o part_n of_o that_o figure_n if_o they_o be_v join_v and_o compose_v with_o other_o part_n and_o figure_n become_v not_o soul-less_a or_o life-less_a but_o because_o they_o consist_v all_o of_o a_o commixture_n of_o animate_v and_o inanimate_a matter_n they_o retain_v life_n and_o soul_n only_o the_o action_n of_o that_o life_n and_o soul_n be_v according_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o those_o figure_n which_o the_o part_n of_o the_o animal_n body_n do_v change_v into_o thus_o as_o i_o have_v mention_v in_o my_o philosophical_a letter_n preface_n no_o creature_n can_v challenge_v a_o particular_a life_n and_o soul_n to_o itself_o but_o every_o creature_n may_v have_v by_o the_o divide_n high_a conception_n than_o this_o for_o what_o be_v beyond_o it_o be_v supernatural_a and_o belong_v to_o supernatural_a creature_n as_o for_o example_n those_o divine_a soul_n which_o god_n have_v give_v to_o man_n above_o their_o rational_a material_a soul_n but_o as_o for_o the_o wicked_a soul_n they_o come_v not_o from_o god_n but_o be_v irregularity_n of_o nature_n which_o god_n certain_o those_o compose_a figure_n may_v have_v a_o different_a magnitude_n place_n colour_n etc._n etc._n from_o their_o part_n and_o particle_n be_v they_o single_a but_o be_v self-moving_a those_o figure_n may_v alter_v by_o self-motion_n for_o it_o be_v as_o impossible_a for_o a_o body_n to_o be_v without_o part_n as_o for_o part_n to_o be_v without_o body_n but_o if_o matter_n be_v not_o self-moving_a
