sure_a that_o the_o moderator_n know_v well_o enough_o that_o many_o member_n of_o the_o assembly_n who_o be_v now_o fierce_a against_o episcopal_a government_n within_o these_o few_o year_n have_v be_v as_o earnest_a maintainer_n of_o it_o as_o any_o &_o more_o ambitious_a and_o earnest_a suitor_n for_o bishopric_n then_o any_o other_o the_o moderator_n at_o last_o cut_v off_o all_o further_a contestation_n about_o these_o lay-elder_n by_o affirm_v that_o the_o state_n of_o the_o question_n as_o it_o stand_v before_o they_o be_v not_o whether_o lay-elder_n have_v ever_o be_v receive_v in_o other_o church_n but_o whether_o their_o office_n and_o place_n in_o the_o assembly_n be_v agreeable_a with_o the_o constitution_n of_o the_o church_n of_o scotland_n and_o so_o no_o more_o be_v
