truth_n that_o present_v itself_o to_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o conscience_n but_o do_v breed_v some_o monster_n or_o other_o in_o a_o corrupt_a soul_n though_o not_o so_o huge_a a_o one_o as_o this_o yet_o that_o which_o may_v be_v a_o spawn_n a_o fry_n and_o seed_n to_o this_o as_o therefore_o in_o the_o mud_n of_o egypt_n cast_v up_o by_o the_o overflow_a of_o nilus_n be_v engender_v many_o vile_a and_o filthy_a creature_n by_o the_o beam_n of_o the_o sun_n so_o by_o the_o overflow_a of_o sin_n there_o be_v as_o strange_a mud_n cast_v over_o the_o soul_n strange_a monster_n will_v arise_v out_o of_o the_o same_o by_o occasion_n of_o the_o divine_a light_n of_o truth_n shine_v thereupon_o 3_o hence_o observe_v the_o person_n that_o be_v most_o capable_a of_o this_o sin_n they_o be_v such_o as_o be_v most_o capable_a of_o divine_a illumination_n and_o most_o apprehensive_a of_o all_o truth_n a_o dullard_n a_o blind_a person_n that_o have_v no_o eye_n to_o look_v above_o that_o which_o be_v humane_a can_v commit_v this_o sin_n but_o those_o that_o be_v able_a to_o see_v and_o behold_v the_o divine_a truth_n so_o that_o in_o this_o respect_n ignorance_n be_v a_o advantage_n to_o a_o man_n for_o a_o narrow_a brain_n will_v not_o suffice_v to_o conceive_v this_o sinne._n the_o scribe_n and_o pharisee_n julian_n the_o apostata_fw-la and_o those_o that_o come_v near_a to_o this_o sin_n the_o grand_a &_o arch-persecutor_n of_o any_o divine_a truth_n they_o be_v man_n admirable_a for_o gift_n there_o be_v indeed_o many_o insolent_a dunce_n and_o sot_n that_o be_v malirious_a but_o they_o receive_v this_o malice_n from_o the_o spirit_n of_o great_a wit_n themselves_o be_v but_o axe_n and_o beetle_n in_o their_o hand_n so_o that_o it_o be_v not_o a_o mouse_n that_o can_v bring_v forth_o this_o elephant_n nor_o a_o wren_n that_o can_v lay_v and_o hatch_v this_o eagle_n 4_o learn_v hence_o how_o to_o prevent_v this_o sinne._n many_o there_o be_v indeed_o that_o take_v a_o most_o vile_a course_n to_o prevent_v it_o they_o will_v not_o know_v the_o divine_a truth_n because_o they_o will_v not_o wilful_o resist_v it_o and_o so_o desperate_o perish_v through_o their_o wilful_a want_n of_o it_o but_o let_v our_o course_n be_v for_o the_o prevent_n of_o it_o to_o adore_v every_o divine_a truth_n that_o we_o receive_v and_o not_o to_o admit_v of_o the_o least_o thought_n against_o the_o same_o of_o all_o sin_n this_o shall_v be_v kill_v in_o the_o womb_n for_o other_o sin_n may_v be_v cast_v out_o of_o possession_n and_o kingdom_n this_o never_a the_o second_o conclusion_n the_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v not_o conceive_v by_o mean_n o●_n every_o divine_a truth_n but_o of_o a_o supernatural_a divine_a truth_n that_o be_v to_o say_v a_o evangelicall_n truth_n so_o that_o a●_n every_o light_n be_v not_o a_o mean_n to_o produce_v and_o quicken_v thing_n but_o the_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n only_o so_o every_o truth_n be_v not_o a_o mean_n to_o breed_v and_o animate_v this_o sin_n but_o some_o evangelicall_n truth_n only_o the_o truth_n hereof_o appear_v in_o this_o example_n that_o divine_a truth_n that_o here_o stir_v up_o this_o sin_n be_v this_o that_o christ_n jesus_n the_o son_n of_o mary_n be_v the_o true_a messiah_n this_o it_o be_v that_o stir_v up_o their_o mind_n to_o this_o sinne._n so_o that_o a_o natural_a truth_n can_v stir_v up_o such_o a_o sin_n as_o this_o unpardonable_a one_o but_o as_o it_o be_v plain_a hebr._n 6.5_o it_o must_v be_v a_o truth_n concern_v the_o life_n to_o come_v use_v 1_o hence_o we_o may_v observe_v the_o climate_n of_o this_o sin_n in_o what_o region_n it_o be_v beget_v and_o hatch_v for_o the_o most_o part_n if_o not_o altogether_o even_o in_o the_o church_n of_o god_n it_o be_v a_o church-sinne_n as_o therefore_o the_o great_a sinner_n that_o ordinary_o be_v in_o the_o world_n even_o that_o man_n of_o sin_n sit_v in_o the_o temple_n of_o god_n so_o the_o the_o great_a sin_n that_o can_v be_v commit_v by_o man_n be_v commit_v in_o the_o church_n where_o only_o or_o special_o those_o beam_n do_v shine_v that_o stir_v up_o this_o sin_n in_o the_o soul_n of_o man._n for_o as_o the_o deadly_a serpent_n abound_v in_o the_o hot_a country_n so_o the_o deadly_a and_o desperate_v sin_n in_o those_o place_n where_o the_o gospel_n of_o god_n shine_v forth_o in_o its_o great_a strength_n 2_o in_o temptation_n the_o child_n of_o god_n may_v make_v use_n of_o this_o conclusion_n for_o let_v the_o sin_n that_o he_o be_v trouble_v in_o conscience_n for_o be_v never_o so_o heinous_a and_o desperate_a against_o conscience_n yet_o if_o by_o the_o light_n of_o the_o gospel_n they_o have_v not_o be_v stir_v up_o unto_o it_o it_o be_v not_o this_o unpardonable_a sinne._n the_o three_o conclusion_n this_o sin_n be_v not_o engender_v and_o stir_v up_o by_o every_o evangelicall_n doctrine_n and_o truth_n but_o by_o the_o main_a and_o fundamental_a doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n for_o this_o be_v it_o that_o beget_v this_o sin_n in_o they_o that_o this_o christ_n who_o they_o so_o horrible_o revile_v be_v that_o messiah_n and_o saviour_n of_o the_o world_n this_o be_v it_o that_o make_v they_o spit_v out_o this_o blasphemy_n because_o they_o see_v he_o be_v so_o though_o therefore_o there_o be_v no_o legal_a nor_o evangelicall_n truth_n but_o it_o have_v this_o property_n through_o the_o corruption_n of_o man_n nature_n to_o stir_v up_o the_o mind_n to_o sin_n yet_o no_o truth_n but_o a_o main_a and_o fundamental_a truth_n the_o excellent_a truth_n and_o that_o which_o be_v present_v to_o the_o soul_n of_o a_o elect_a child_n of_o god_n do_v stir_v up_o in_o he_o the_o most_o principal_a grace_n of_o god_n and_o beget_v in_o he_o a_o unspeakable_a love_n of_o god_n the_o same_o truth_n it_o be_v that_o beget_v in_o the_o reprobate_n if_o god_n leave_v they_o so_o far_o unto_o themselves_o the_o high_a and_o most_o horrible_a sinne._n for_o that_o which_o be_v a_o instrument_n of_o holiness_n to_o the_o good_a be_v a_o instrument_n of_o impiety_n to_o the_o wicked_a and_o so_o by_o degree_n that_o illumination_n which_o be_v the_o mean_n of_o the_o great_a grace_n in_o god_n child_n be_v the_o mean_n of_o the_o great_a sin_n in_o the_o reprobrate_v the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o law_n beget_v many_o grace_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n child_n the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n more_o every_o evangelicall_n truth_n be_v a_o mean_n of_o much_o grace_n the_o fundamental_a and_o high_a point_n thereof_o much_o more_o so_o on_o the_o contrary_n it_o be_v therefore_o a_o high_a evangelicall_n truth_n that_o be_v the_o stirrer_n up_o of_o this_o high_a diabolical_a sinne._n use_v 1_o this_o shall_v admonish_v we_o

to_o wage_v war_n against_o those_o that_o adhere_v still_o unto_o he_o which_o be_v yet_o far_o more_o fearful_a than_o the_o former_a 4_o for_o a_o traitorous_a wretch_n have_v so_o go_v out_o from_o his_o sovereign_n to_o go_v on_o obstinate_o in_o his_o rebellious_a course_n without_o any_o thought_n of_o repent_v or_o return_v again_o to_o he_o neglect_v all_o such_o course_n whereby_o pardon_n may_v be_v procure_v and_o favour_n regain_v and_o that_o when_o opportunity_n of_o achieve_v it_o be_v oft_o offer_v unto_o he_o be_v a_o very_a damnable_a and_o desperate_a course_n but_o in_o this_o kind_a the_o case_n be_v yet_o far_o worse_a than_o so_o for_o those_o that_o commit_v this_o sin_n not_o only_o refuse_v to_o use_v any_o mean_n of_o recovery_n but_o even_o contumelious_o reject_v god_n mercy_n tender_v unto_o they_o in_o the_o gospel_n tread_v the_o pardon_n itself_o as_o it_o be_v under_o their_o sect_n trample_v upon_o christ_n the_o person_n that_o purchase_v it_o for_o they_o despite_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n that_o reveal_v and_o that_o shall_v seal_v it_o up_o to_o they_o and_o malicious_o impugn_v and_o oppose_v those_o that_o either_o have_v accept_v or_o make_v show_v to_o accept_v of_o it_o and_o what_o can_v there_o be_v imagine_v more_o hideous_a or_o more_o hellish_a than_o this_o be_v the_o five_o part_n of_o the_o conviction_n of_o this_o sin_n hitherto_o of_o the_o conception_n and_o the_o birth_n of_o the_o name_n and_o the_o nature_n of_o this_o sin_n now_o the_o five_o point_n follow_v which_o be_v the_o conviction_n of_o it_o wherein_o our_o saviour_n labour_v to_o ●hew_v that_o the_o blasphemy_n they_o utter_v in_o this_o open_a and_o shameful_a manner_n be_v against_o conscience_n and_o of_o malice_n and_o despite_n and_o that_o therein_o they_o do_v open_o rebel_v against_o god_n and_o set_v themselves_o against_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n they_o lay_v to_o our_o saviour_n christ_n charge_n that_o as_o if_o he_o be_v a_o arch-magitian_n or_o conjurer_n or_o a_o practitioner_n of_o the_o black_a art_n he_o wrought_v ●●ose_o great_a and_o marvellous_a work_n which_o he_o do_v by_o the_o power_n and_o help_v of_o beelzebub_n the_o prince_n of_o devil_n our_o saviour_n on_o the_o other_o side_n 1_o by_o reason_n disprove_v their_o blasphemous_a assertion_n 2_o by_o other_o reason_n prove_v the_o contrary_a truth_n to_o wit_n that_o what_o he_o do_v he_o do_v not_o by_o the_o power_n of_o satan_n but_o by_o the_o power_n of_o god_n spirit_n where_o before_o we_o descend_v to_o particular_n let_v we_o make_v some_o general_a use_n of_o this_o practice_n of_o our_o saviour_n he_o pronounce_v not_o the_o sentence_n of_o condemnation_n for_o this_o sin_n before_o he_o have_v by_o evident_a reason_n convince_v they_o to_o be_v guilty_a of_o it_o it_o be_v against_o the_o law_n of_o love_n and_o charity_n to_o judge_v and_o condemne●_n person_n of_o any_o crime_n without_o j●●_n reason_n and_o good_a cause_n and_o th●_n great_a the_o crime_n be_v the_o great_a mo●●_n our_o presumption_n be_v before_o we_o must_v condemn_v before_o therefore_o we_o lay_v to_o the_o charge_n of_o any_o th●_n high_a and_o horrible_a sin_n it_o behoove_v we_o to_o be_v able_a by_o sound_n and_o sufficient_a reason_n to_o convince_v they_o first_o of_o i●_n accuser_n have_v ever_o be_v esteem_v odious_a except_o there_o have_v be_v some_o just_a cause_n much_o more_o false_a accuser_n and_o the_o great_a the_o crime_n be_v the_o more_o odious_a they_o be_v that_o accuse_v any_o false_o of_o they_o it_o must_v therefore_o needs_o be_v most_o odious_a to_o accuse_v one_o false_o of_o such_o a_o crime_n without_o evident_a conviction_n as_o be_v of_o so_o high_a and_o heinous_a quality_n as_o this_o be_v and_o as_o this_o be_v a_o great_a sin_n against_o other_o so_o be_v it_o no_o less_o sin_n against_o ourselves_o especial_o in_o lay_v to_o our_o own_o charge_n this_o sin_n above_o all_o other_o for_o howsoever_o in_o other_o sin_n i_o may_v do_v another_o more_o hurt_n than_o myself_o yet_o if_o i_o can_v lay_v this_o sin_n to_o the_o charge_n though_o of_o the_o great_a innocent_a in_o the_o world_n i_o shall_v not_o do_v he_o so_o much_o hurt_v as_o in_o lay_v it_o upon_o false_a surmise_n and_o ground_n upon_o myself_o for_o another_o soul_n be_v never_o the_o worse_o for_o my_o false_a judgement_n but_o in_o this_o case_n especial_o if_o we_o feed_v and_o nourish_v such_o conceit_n many_o direful_a and_o dreadful_a effect_n will_v follow_v in_o our_o own_o soul_n for_o 1_o he_o that_o accuse_v and_o condemn_v himself_o of_o this_o sin_n he_o thrust_v god_n out_o of_o his_o room_n and_o sit_v himself_o therein_o when_o without_o warrant_n from_o the_o word_n and_o direction_n from_o those_o that_o have_v better_a insight_n in_o the_o same_o he_o take_v authority_n to_o arraign_v judge_n and_o condemn_v himself_o when_o he_o be_v not_o his_o own_o but_o god_n to_o judge_v and_o condemn_v man_n must_v assent_v to_o god_n judgement_n and_o sentence_n reveal_v in_o his_o word_n and_o measure_v their_o judgement_n and_o condemnation_n by_o it_o not_o judge_n or_o condemn_v of_o themselves_o as_o a_o man_n except_o he_o have_v commission_n from_o god_n may_v not_o judge_v or_o condemn_v another_o to_o a_o bodily_a death_n so_o much_o less_o may_v he_o judge_v or_o condemn_v himself_o to_o eternal_a death_n we_o have_v power_n to_o deserve_v hell_n but_o we_o have_v no_o power_n to_o condemn_v ourselves_o too_o hell_n 2_o he_o that_o yield_v to_o this_o temptation_n what_o do_v he_o in_o effect_n but_o give_v himself_o to_o the_o devil_n acknowledge_v himself_o of_o right_a to_o belong_v to_o he_o and_o not_o to_o god_n and_o to_o be_v actual_o a_o subject_n of_o his_o kingdom_n for_o he_o that_o shall_v pass_v such_o a_o condemnation_n as_o this_o against_o himself_o know_v that_o there_o be_v but_o two_o spiritual_a kingdom_n he_o know_v that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n do_v not_o belong_v to_o such_o a_o sinner_n and_o that_o therefore_o he_o must_v needs_o belong_v to_o
