way_n but_o you_o will_v not_o fear_v damnation_n in_o the_o end_n believe_v it_o reader_n in_o day_n of_o common_a calamity_n both_o heaven_n and_o hell_n will_v fill_v apace_o chap._n vi_o demonstrate_v the_o five_o proposition_n viz._n that_o god_n attribute_n promise_n and_o providence_n be_v prepare_v for_o the_o security_n of_o his_o people_n in_o the_o great_a distress_n that_o befall_v they_o in_o the_o world_n sect_n i._o have_v more_o brief_o dispatch_v the_o forego_n preliminary_a proposition_n it_o remain_v that_o we_o now_o more_o full_o open_v this_o five_o proposition_n which_o contain_v the_o main_a subject_a matter_n of_o this_o discourse_n here_o therefore_o our_o meditation_n must_v fix_v and_o abide_v and_o true_o such_o be_v the_o deliciousness_n of_o the_o subject_n to_o spiritual_a heart_n that_o i_o judge_v it_o whole_o needless_a to_o offer_v any_o other_o motive_n beside_o itself_o to_o engage_v your_o affection_n let_v we_o therefore_o view_v our_o chamber_n and_o see_v how_o well_o god_n have_v provide_v for_o his_o child_n in_o all_o their_o distress_n that_o befall_v they_o in_o this_o world_n it_o be_v our_o father_n voice_n that_o call_v to_o we_o come_v my_o people_n enter_v thou_o into_o thy_o chamber_n and_o the_o 1._o chamber_n which_o come_v to_o be_v open_v as_o a_o refuge_n to_o distress_a believer_n in_o a_o stormy_a day_n be_v that_o most_o secure_a and_o safe_a attribute_n of_o divine_a power_n into_o this_o let_v we_o first_o enter_v by_o serious_a and_o believe_a meditation_n and_o see_v how_o safe_a they_o be_v who_o god_n hide_v under_o the_o protection_n thereof_o in_o the_o worst_a and_o most_o dangerous_a day_n in_o open_v this_o attribute_n we_o shall_v consider_v it_o 1._o in_o its_o own_o nature_n and_o property_n 2._o with_o respect_n to_o the_o promise_n 3._o as_o it_o be_v actuate_v by_o providence_n on_o the_o behalf_n of_o distress_a saint_n and_o then_o give_v you_o a_o comfortable_a prospect_n of_o their_o safe_a and_o happy_a condition_n who_o take_v up_o their_o lodging_n by_o faith_n in_o this_o attribute_n of_o god_n 1._o let_v we_o consider_v the_o power_n of_o god_n in_o itself_o and_o we_o shall_v find_v it_o represent_v to_o we_o in_o the_o scripture_n in_o these_o three_o lovely_a property_n viz._n power_n 1._o omnipotent_a 2._o supreme_a 3._o everlasting_a 1._o as_o a_o omnipotent_a and_o all-sufficient_a power_n which_o have_v no_o bound_n or_o limit_n but_o the_o pleasure_n and_o will_n of_o god_n dan._n 4._o 34_o 35._o he_o do_v
