sometime_o not_o a_o clear_a example_n neither_o but_o compare_v one_o thing_n with_o another_o and_o that_o which_o seem_v to_o be_v near_o the_o mind_n of_o god_n that_o shall_v be_v bond_n enough_o to_o we_o to_o tie_v we_o to_o go_v according_a to_o what_o the_o mind_n of_o god_n seem_v most_o probable_a to_o be_v in_o the_o scripture_n and_o a_o humble_a teachable_a heart_n will_v soon_o be_v convince_v when_o another_o man_n will_v not_o we_o find_v it_o clear_o that_o such_o thing_n that_o be_v most_o suitable_a to_o man_n own_o end_n a_o little_a matter_n will_v serve_v the_o turn_n all_o that_o you_o be_v and_o have_v to_o this_o word_n and_o that_o be_v another_o particular_a in_o the_o sanctify_a of_o the_o name_n of_o god_n in_o hear_v the_o word_n there_o must_v be_v a_o humble_a submission_n of_o the_o soul_n unto_o it_o 8._o another_o particular_a wherein_o the_o behaviour_n of_o the_o soul_n for_o the_o sanctify_a of_o god_n name_n consist_v be_v this_o the_o this_o if_o thou_o will_v sanctify_v the_o name_n of_o god_n in_o hear_v his_o word_n turn_v it_o into_o practice_n or_o otherwise_o the_o name_n of_o god_n be_v blaspheme_v or_o at_o least_o be_v take_v in_o vain_a by_o thou_o if_o thou_o do_v not_o turn_v what_o thou_o hear_v into_o practice_n so_o you_o have_v it_o in_o jam._n 1._o 22._o he_o that_o be_v not_o a_o forgetful_a hearer_n but_o that_o hear_v the_o word_n and_o do_v not_o do_v it_o he_o do_v as_o it_o be_v reason_n thus_o those_o that_o do_v come_v to_o church_n as_o we_o use_v to_o say_v those_o sure_o be_v religious_a people_n but_o i_o come_v to_o sermon_n and_o therefore_o i_o be_o religious_a now_o this_o be_v a_o false_a reason_n and_o thou_o do_v but_o cozen_v thyself_o be_v not_o a_o hearer_n only_o but_o a_o doer_n of_o the_o word_n that_o thou_o may_v not_o deceive_v thy_o own_o soul_n so_o in_o rom._n 2._o 3._o think_v thou_o this_o o_fw-fr man_n that_o judge_v they_o that_o do_v such_o thing_n &_o do_v the_o same_o that_o thou_o shall_v escape_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v you_o have_v the_o word_n and_o you_o be_v able_a o_o judge_v thereby_o what_o you_o hear_v but_o yet_o still_o you_o be_v wicked_a in_o your_o life_n this_o be_v despise_v of_o the_o riches_n of_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n towards_o you_o and_o in_o philippian_n 2_o 16._o you_o have_v a_o remarkable_a text_n where_o the_o holy_a ghost_n say_v of_o the_o phylippians_n that_o he_o will_v have_v they_o hold_v forth_o the_o word_n of_o life_n it_o be_v a_o most_o excellent_a thing_n if_o it_o may_v be_v say_v of_o this_o congregation_n that_o as_o they_o come_v deligent_o to_o hear_v and_o be_v willing_a to_o take_v pain_n to_o get_v out_o of_o their_o bed_n so_o early_o in_o the_o morning_n so_o all_o the_o week_n after_o they_o hold_v forth_o the_o word_n of_o god_n you_o that_o be_v servant_n it_o may_v be_v your_o master_n be_v naught_o and_o the_o family_n naught_o from_o whence_o you_o come_v now_o when_o you_o go_v home_o though_o it_o may_v be_v they_o will_v not_o let_v you_o repeat_v the_o sermon_n yet_o you_o be_v to_o hold_v forth_o the_o sermon_n in_o your_o first_o grace_n to_o those_o that_o belong_v to_o god_n election_n the_o sacrament_n be_v for_o strengthen_v and_o therefore_o there_o be_v rather_o more_o in_o the_o word_n than_o in_o the_o sacrament_n and_o yet_o every_o one_o think_v in_o conscience_n that_o he_o be_v bind_v to_o come_v careful_o to_o the_o sacrament_n and_o to_o look_v to_o sanctify_v god_n name_n there_o it_o be_v a_o easy_a matter_n to_o convince_v man_n and_o woman_n that_o they_o be_v bind_v to_o sanctify_v the_o name_n of_o god_n when_o they_o come_v to_o receive_v the_o holy_a communion_n than_o for_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o word_n they_o think_v not_o so_o much_o of_o that_o but_o certain_o the_o word_n be_v appoint_v to_o be_v a_o ordinance_n of_o convey_v more_o blessing_n than_o the_o sacrament_n because_o it_o be_v appoint_v to_o convey_v the_o first_o grace_n and_o to_o convey_v strength_n of_o grace_n as_o well_o as_o the_o sacrament_n now_o be_v appoint_v to_o convey_v such_o great_a thing_n to_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o elect_a both_o the_o first_o grace_n and_o strengthen_n of_o grace_n and_o comfort_n and_o assistance_n thereof_o the_o lord_n expect_v to_o have_v his_o name_n santifiy_v in_o it_o 3._o three_o the_o name_n of_o god_n must_v be_v sanctiff_v in_o the_o word_n because_o the_o word_n be_v very_o quick_a and_o lively_a it_o work_v man_n or_o woman_n to_o life_n or_o death_n to_o salvation_n or_o damnation_n in_o heb._n 4._o 12._o the_o word_n of_o god_n quick_a and_o powerful_a and_o sharp_a than_o any_o two_o edge_a sword_n pierce_v even_o to_o the_o he_o will_v not_o stand_v dally_v and_o trifle_v with_o they_o but_o he_o be_v very_o quick_a with_o they_o either_o to_o bring_v there_o soul_n to_o life_n or_o to_o cast_v they_o away_o the_o time_n of_o man_n ignorance_n god_n wink_v at_o but_o now_o he_o call_v all_o man_n to_o repent_v let_v they_o look_v to_o it_o now_o god_n do_v forbear_v in_o the_o time_n of_o ignorance_n but_o he_o will_v not_o forbear_v so_o when_o the_o word_n come_v now_o be_v the_o axe_n lay_v to_o the_o root_n of_o the_o tree_n and_o when_o be_v that_o when_o john_n baptist_n come_v to_o preach_v repentance_n
