that_o if_o a_o canon-law_n be_v against_o the_o law_n of_o the_o land_n the_o bishop_n ought_v to_o obey_v the_o commandment_n of_o the_o king_n according_a to_o the_o law_n of_o the_o land_n now_o not_o only_o a_o right_n to_o review_n the_o act_n of_o every_o such_o convocation_n but_o aught_o moreover_o to_o submit_v they_o to_o the_o examination_n of_o his_o learned_a council_n in_o the_o law_n that_o so_o he_o may_v the_o more_o secure_o be_v able_a to_o judge_v whether_o they_o be_v consistent_a with_o the_o law_n of_o his_o realm_n and_o by_o consequence_n capable_a of_o receive_v no_o more_o than_o what_o be_v the_o joint_a opinion_n of_o the_o whole_a representative_a body_n of_o the_o nation_n as_o well_o of_o the_o clergy_n in_o their_o convocation_n as_o of_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o realm_n in_o parliament_n 25_o hen._n 8._o and_o from_o whence_o if_o from_o any_o authority_n we_o may_v certain_o the_o best_a take_v our_o measure_n to_o judge_v whether_o a_o thing_n do_v of_o right_a belong_v to_o the_o king_n and_o be_v a_o part_n of_o his_o royal_a prerogative_n or_o no._n for_o one_a as_o for_o the_o clergy_n we_o be_v tell_v in_o the_o preamble_n to_o the_o of_o it_o if_o they_o be_v well_o observe_v have_v therefore_o for_o we_o our_o heir_n and_o lawful_a successor_n of_o our_o special_a grace_n certain_a knowledge_n and_o mere_a motion_n give_v and_o needless_a for_o i_o to_o observe_v after_o the_o account_n i_o have_v already_o give_v of_o the_o act_n which_o be_v pass_v but_o a_o few_o year_n before_o by_o the_o same_o king_n to_o that_o purpose_n that_o this_o convocation_n be_v call_v by_o his_o writ_n i_o will_v rather_o take_v notice_n that_o the_o article_n of_o religion_n set_v forth_o by_o they_o be_v not_o only_o correct_v by_o that_o prince_n after_o they_o have_v be_v frame_v by_o the_o convocation_n but_o be_v draw_v up_o by_o they_o according_a to_o the_o method_n and_o direction_n which_o he_o give_v to_o they_o for_o that_o purpose_n so_o his_o declaration_n to_o all_o his_o love_a subject_n in_o confirmation_n of_o these_o article_n inform_v us._n and_o for_o because_o we_o will_v the_o say_v 1536._o article_n and_o every_o of_o they_o shall_v be_v take_v and_o understanden_v of_o you_o after_o such_o sort_n order_n and_o degree_n as_o appertain_v according_o we_o have_v cause_v by_o the_o assent_n and_o agreement_n of_o our_o bishop_n and_o other_o learned_a man_n the_o say_a article_n to_o be_v divide_v into_o two_o sort_n whereof_o the_o one_o part_n contain_v such_o thing_n as_o determination_n debatement_n and_o agreement_n forsomuch_o as_o we_o think_v to_o have_v proceed_v of_o a_o good_a right_o and_o true_a judgement_n and_o to_o be_v agreeable_a to_o the_o law_n and_o
