may_v rouse_v you_o up_o to_o such_o affection_n and_o endeavour_n as_o in_o some_o measure_n be_v answerable_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o thing_n the_o five_o direction_n labour_v to_o have_v a_o lively_a feel_n on_o thy_o heart_n of_o the_o evil_a and_o weight_n of_o that_o sin_n which_o thou_o be_v guilty_a of_o and_o of_o the_o misery_n into_o which_o it_o have_v bring_v thou_o and_o will_v further_o bring_v thou_o if_o thou_o be_v not_o deliver_v and_o so_o to_o feel_v the_o need_n of_o a_o deliverer_n this_o must_v prepare_v thou_o to_o partake_v of_o christ_n now_o and_o if_o thou_o partake_v not_o of_o he_o now_o thou_o can_v not_o be_v save_v by_o he_o then._n it_o be_v these_o soul_n that_o now_o make_v light_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o misery_n that_o must_v then_o feel_v have_v make_v for_o thy_o sin_n and_o for_o the_o world_n and_o how_o free_o and_o universal_o it_o be_v offer_v in_o the_o gospel_n thy_o sin_n be_v not_o uncurable_a or_o unpardonable_a nor_o thy_o overcome_v this_o world_n and_o live_v as_o in_o a_o continual_a conflict_n with_o satan_n which_o will_v not_o be_v end_v till_o thy_o life_n do_v end_n if_o any_o thing_n destroy_v thou_o by_o draw_v away_o thy_o heart_n from_o god_n it_o will_v be_v thy_o carnal_a self_n thy_o fleshly_a desire_n and_o the_o allurement_n of_o this_o world_n which_o be_v the_o matter_n that_o they_o feed_v degree_n of_o know_v the_o same_o truth_n and_o the_o best_a be_v imperfect_a in_o degree_n the_o principal_a growth_n in_o knowledge_n that_o we_o shall_v look_v after_o be_v not_o to_o know_v more_o matter_n than_o we_o know_v before_o but_o to_o know_v that_o better_a and_o with_o a_o clear_a light_n and_o firm_a apprehension_n which_o we_o dark_o and_o slight_o know_v before_o you_o may_v more_o safe_o be_v without_o any_o knowledge_n at_o all_o of_o many_o low_a truth_n then_o without_o some_o further_a degree_n of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o those_o which_o you_o already_o know_v 4._o beside_o it_o be_v know_v by_o sad_a experience_n that_o many_o perish_v who_o know_v the_o truth_n for_o want_v of_o the_o consideration_n ofâ—_n and_o make_v use_n of_o what_o they_o know_v and_o so_o their_o knowledge_n do_v but_o condemn_v they_o we_o have_v as_o much_o need_n therefore_o to_o teach_v and_o help_v you_o to_o get_v these_o truth_n which_o you_o know_v into_o your_o heart_n and_o life_n as_o to_o tell_v you_o more_o 5._o and_o indeed_o it_o be_v the_o impression_n of_o these_o great_a and_o master-truths_n wherein_o the_o vital_n and_o essential_o of_o god_n image_n upon_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n do_v consist_v and_o it_o be_v these_o truth_n that_o be_v the_o very_a instrument_n of_o the_o great_a work_n that_o be_v to_o be_v do_v upon_o the_o heart_n by_o the_o spirit_n and_o ourselves_o in_o the_o right_a use_n of_o these_o it_o be_v that_o the_o principal_a part_n of_o the_o skill_n and_o holy_a wisdom_n of_o a_o christian_a do_v consist_v and_o in_o the_o will_v be_v comfortable_a at_o the_o reckon_a and_o whether_o time_n be_v no_o more_o worth_n to_o one_o that_o be_v so_o near_a eternity_n and_o must_v make_v so_o strict_a a_o account_n of_o his_o hour_n and_o whether_o there_o be_v not_o many_o better_a work_n before_o you_o in_o which_o you_o may_v spend_v your_o time_n to_o your_o great_a advantage_n and_o to_o your_o great_a comfort_n when_o it_o come_v to_o a_o review_n when_o you_o be_v tempt_v to_o wantonnese_n fornication_n or_o any_o other_o fleshly_a intemperance_n bethink_v you_o sober_o with_o what_o face_n these_o action_n will_v appear_v at_o judgement_n and_o whether_o they_o will_v be_v then_o pleasant_a or_o displeasant_a to_o you_o so_o when_o you_o be_v tempt_v to_o neglect_v the_o daily_o worship_v of_o god_n in_o your_o family_n and_o the_o catechise_v and_o teach_v of_o your_o child_n or_o servant_n especial_o on_o the_o lord_n day_n bethink_v yourselves_o then_o what_o account_v you_o will_v give_v of_o and_o some_o against_o it_o and_o in_o the_o palpabl_a case_n you_o be_v some_o on_o one_o side_n and_o some_o on_o the_o other_o this_o strange_a difference_n of_o your_o judgement_n do_v seem_v to_o bewray_v their_o weakness_n but_o if_o you_o know_v the_o cause_n to_o be_v bad_a which_o you_o defend_v and_o to_o be_v good_a which_o you_o oppose_v it_o more_o evident_o betray_v a_o deplorate_a conscience_n i_o speak_v not_o of_o your_o innocent_a of_o excusable_a mistake_n in_o case_n of_o great_a difficulty_n not_o yet_o of_o excuse_v a_o cause_n bad_a in_o the_o main_a from_o unjust_a aggravation_n but_o when_o money_n will_v hire_v you_o to_o plead_v for_o injustice_n against_o your_o own_o knowledge_n and_o to_o use_v your_o wit_n to_o defraud_v the_o righteous_a and_o spoil_v his_o cause_n or_o vex_v he_o with_o delay_n for_o the_o advantage_n of_o your_o unrighteous_a client_n i_o will_v not_o have_v your_o conscience_n for_o all_o your_o gain_n nor_o your_o account_n judgement_n or_o be_v you_o not_o i_o think_v a_o man_n that_o know_v he_o shall_v be_v judge_v shall_v ask_v himself_o the_o question_n every_o day_n of_o his_o life_n be_o i_o ready_a to_o give_v up_o my_o account_n to_o god_n do_v not_o you_o use_v to_o ask_v this_o of_o your_o own_o heart_n unless_o you_o be_v careless_a whether_o you_o be_v save_v or_o damn_v i_o think_v you_o shall_v and_o ask_v it_o serious_o qu._n but_o who_o be_v they_o that_o be_v ready_a how_o shall_v i_o know_v whether_o i_o be_v ready_a or_o not_o answ_n there_o be_v a_o twofold_a readiness_n 1._o when_o you_o be_v in_o a_o safe_a case_n 2._o when_o you_o be_v in_o a_o comfortable_a case_n in_o regard_n of_o that_o day_n the_o latter_a be_v very_o desirable_a but_o the_o first_o be_v of_o absolute_a necessity_n this_o therefore_o be_v it_o that_o you_o must_v principal_o inquire_v after_o in_o general_n all_o those_o and_o only_o those_o be_v ready_a for_o judgement_n who_o shall_v be_v justify_v and_o save_v and_o not_o condemn_v when_o judgement_n come_v they_o that_o have_v a_o good_a cause_n in_o a_o gospel_n sense_n it_o may_v be_v know_v before_o hand_n who_o these_o be_v for_o christ_n judge_v as_o i_o tell_v you_o by_o his_o law_n and_o therefore_o find_v out_o who_o it_o be_v that_o the_o law_n of_o grace_n do_v justify_v or_o condemn_v and_o you_o may_v certain_o know_v who_o the_o judge_n will_v justify_v or_o condemn_v for_o he_o judge_v righteous_o if_o you_o further_o ask_v i_o who_o these_o be_v remember_v that_o i_o tell_v you_o before_o that_o every_o man_n that_o
