have_v labour_v less_o as_o they_o judge_v it_o and_o less_o to_o they_o who_o have_v labour_v more_o the_o proportion_n of_o their_o labour_n consider_v now_o christ_n show_v that_o this_o may_v very_o well_o be_v in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n that_o be_v in_o the_o business_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o preach_v of_o that_o in_o the_o world_n that_o god_n may_v just_o and_o upon_o his_o own_o term_n though_o he_o will_v not_o account_v with_o such_o murmurer_n and_o quarreller_n about_o his_o term_n yet_o that_o god_n be_v at_o liberty_n to_o make_v what_o law_n or_o term_n he_o to_o judgement_n that_o which_o will_v bear_v special_a weight_n in_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n be_v the_o frame_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o spirit_n which_o it_o may_v be_v some_o have_v not_o the_o opportunity_n full_o and_o thorough_o to_o express_v in_o their_o outward_a deportment_n and_o service_n in_o the_o world_n but_o when_o god_n come_v to_o pass_v sentence_n and_o to_o give_v judgement_n than_o he_o will_v estimate_v thing_n according_a to_o the_o strict_a and_o accurate_a term_n of_o reason_n but_o our_o saviour_n in_o this_o parable_n set_v forth_o the_o high_a presume_a nature_n of_o the_o jew_n in_o opposition_n to_o the_o gentile_n who_o they_o despise_v and_o who_o at_o the_o eleven_o hour_n of_o the_o day_n be_v call_v into_o the_o service_n of_o god_n he_o there_o set_v forth_o their_o genius_n and_o disposition_n who_o because_o they_o have_v do_v so_o much_o and_o have_v be_v so_o laborious_a above_o other_o in_o the_o work_v of_o the_o law_n and_o in_o the_o ceremony_n and_o sacrifice_n and_o in_o the_o legal_a rite_n and_o observation_n therefore_o they_o think_v they_o shall_v have_v double_a and_o treble_a and_o a_o thousand-fold_n above_o with_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n upon_o the_o use_v such_o and_o such_o mean_n be_v not_o because_o of_o the_o mean_n but_o it_o arise_v from_o the_o mighty_a force_n and_o irresistible_a power_n of_o the_o decree_n of_o god_n this_o be_v that_o which_o triumph_v over_o all_o the_o use_n of_o mean_n the_o decree_n of_o god_n be_v so_o full_a of_o grace_n and_o bounty_n that_o they_o do_v not_o stand_v to_o measure_v inch_n as_o we_o use_v to_o speak_v in_o the_o thing_n of_o man_n so_o that_o unless_o they_o find_v so_o much_o worth_n or_o goodness_n in_o they_o they_o shall_v never_o i_o know_v the_o nature_n of_o my_o creature_n man_n and_o woman_n and_o the_o utmost_a of_o what_o they_o be_v able_a to_o do_v their_o weakness_n and_o frailty_n be_v consider_v yet_o let_v they_o but_o do_v what_o they_o can_v let_v they_o show_v their_o willingness_n to_o comply_v with_o i_o and_o they_o shall_v have_v as_o much_o assistance_n from_o i_o and_o from_o my_o spirit_n to_o help_v and_o satisfaction_n than_o they_o do_v in_o any_o other_o thing_n and_o therefore_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v direct_v they_o to_o such_o a_o course_n wherein_o they_o shall_v have_v far_o better_a contentment_n not_o indeed_o of_o the_o same_o kind_n or_o flow_v from_o the_o same_o cause_n but_o however_o they_o shall_v be_v satisfy_v in_o that_o which_o they_o so_o much_o desire_v they_o wine_n so_o that_o this_o be_v the_o reason_n as_o i_o conceive_v why_o the_o apostle_n subjoin_v this_o affirmative_a precept_n unto_o the_o negative_a dehortation_n the_o doctrine_n which_o we_o and_o so_o must_v needs_o be_v under_o a_o most_o sad_a disadvantage_n to_o apprehend_v and_o believe_v those_o most_o glorious_a thing_n which_o the_o gospel_n speak_v concern_v the_o love_n and_o mercy_n and_o tenderness_n of_o compassion_n in_o god_n towards_o man_n which_o yet_o must_v be_v clear_o apprehend_v and_o steady_o believe_v to_o invest_v the_o heart_n and_o soul_n of_o man_n with_o the_o bless_a privilege_n of_o be_v lift_v up_o to_o heaven_n upon_o the_o wing_n of_o gospel-consolation_n so_o then_o of_o all_o kind_n of_o offender_n and_o transgressor_n in_o the_o world_n man_n that_o be_v straight_o of_o bowel_n and_o uncompassionate_a be_v the_o most_o uncapable_a of_o part_n and_o fellowship_n in_o the_o consolatory_a enjoyment_n of_o the_o gospel_n those_o especial_o that_o be_v full_a of_o spirit_n and_o life_n the_o gospel_n every_o where_o lower_a and_o frown_v upon_o they_o stave_a and_o beat_v they_o off_o from_o all_o hope_n and_o conceit_n of_o find_v mercy_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n or_o of_o salvation_n but_o only_o upon_o the_o change_n and_o turn_n of_o their_o heart_n within_o they_o upside_o down_o yea_o three_o and_o last_o person_n in_o any_o kind_n who_o despise_v their_o way_n as_o solomon_n expression_n be_v pro._n 19.16_o who_o live_v at_o peradventure_o sect._n 10_o and_z as_o we_o use_v to_o say_v hand_n overhead_n who_o do_v not_o narrow_o and_o tender_o ponder_v all_o their_o path_n lest_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v be_v find_v too_o light_a neither_o be_v such_o as_o these_o like_a to_o eat_v of_o the_o scripture_n what_o be_v his_o mind_n concern_v we_o in_o all_o our_o action_n and_o way_n must_v needs_o grieve_v the_o good_a spirit_n of_o god_n within_o we_o as_o indeed_o every_o practice_n yea_o and_o omission_n also_o do_v about_o which_o his_o interest_n lie_v to_o instruct_v and_o direct_v we_o if_o recourse_n be_v not_o make_v unto_o he_o according_o now_o if_o man_n shall_v pitch_v be_v beautiful_a and_o lovely_a in_o his_o sight_n a_o performance_n or_o service_n which_o be_v but_o slender_a and_o ordinary_a in_o appearance_n may_v be_v high_o prize_v and_o accept_v of_o by_o he_o and_o this_o according_a to_o the_o most_o exact_a rule_n of_o justice_n reason_n and_o equity_n christ_n pronounce_v a_o just_a and_o true_a sentence_n when_o he_o say_v that_o the_o poor_a 43._o now_o it_o be_v not_o improbable_a but_o that_o by_o the_o early-called_n into_o the_o vineyard_n may_v be_v set_v forth_o such_o a_o kind_n of_o christian_a or_o believer_n who_o savour_v much_o of_o the_o justiciary_a and_o legal_a spirit_n and_o be_v common_o active_a and_o zealous_a enough_o in_o his_o way_n for_o god_n but_o incline_v to_o a_o rugged_a harsh_a and_o peremptory_a the_o one_o half_a of_o their_o external_a service_n if_o it_o be_v yet_o urge_v and_o say_v but_o the_o lord_n of_o the_o vineyard_n do_v not_o allege_v against_o the_o early-called_n either_o any_o defect_n in_o they_o or_o in_o their_o work_n or_o labour_n nor_o any_o thing_n more_o commendable_a in_o those_o call_v at_o the_o eleven_o hour_n as_o any_o reason_n why_o he_o shall_v make_v with_o tell_v they_o what_o his_o peremptory_a will_n be_v and_o a_o assert_v the_o justness_n and_o lawfulness_n of_o it_o even_o as_o man_n likewise_o be_v wont_a to_o do_v by_o person_n of_o a_o like_a evil_a temper_n whereas_o they_o be_v willing_a and_o free_a to_o give_v account_n of_o matter_n unto_o those_o that_o be_v ingenuous_a and_o of_o good_a spirit_n and_o this_o disposition_n be_v find_v in_o god_n himself_o according_a to_o these_o say_n of_o david_n the_o meek_a he_o will_v guide_v in_o judgement_n that_o be_v he_o will_v acquaint_v he_o with_o the_o ground_n and_o reason_n of_o all_o that_o he_o require_v of_o he_o to_o do_v the_o meek_a he_o will_v teach_v his_o way_n viz._n by_o show_v he_o the_o goodness_n and_o desirableness_n of_o it_o psal_n 25.9_o so_o again_o the_o secret_a of_o the_o lord_n be_v with_o they_o that_o fear_v he_o ver_fw-la 14._o and_o prov._n 3.32_o his_o secret_a be_v with_o the_o righteous_a god_n be_v most_o wont_a to_o communicate_v thing_n of_o a_o more_o spiritual_a and_o mysterious_a cognizance_n but_o only_o unto_o those_o that_o be_v of_o meek_a and_o yield_a spirit_n and_o reverent_o affect_v towards_o he_o so_o that_o it_o be_v no_o marvel_n if_o the_o lord_n of_o the_o vineyard_n will_v give_v no_o other_o reason_n but_o his_o will_n unto_o person_n that_o be_v evil-spirited_n and_o contentious_a of_o such_o a_o dispensation_n as_o seem_v hard_a unto_o they_o although_o he_o be_v able_a and_o ready_a to_o give_v reason_n enough_o thereof_o otherwise_o this_o for_o answer_v to_o the_o second_o from_o god_n as_o well_o as_o paul_n himself_o which_o all_o seem_v to_o be_v expression_n of_o as_o great_a glory_n as_o the_o great_a of_o saint_n be_v capable_a of_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v conceive_v that_o one_o saint_n shall_v differ_v from_o another_o in_o glory_n but_o to_o this_o also_o i_o answer_v that_o these_o and_o the_o like_a place_n only_o prove_v a_o identity_n or_o sameness_n in_o the_o species_n or_o kind_n of_o that_o glory_n whereof_o all_o the_o saint_n shall_v be_v partaker_n not_o that_o they_o shall_v all_o partake_v of_o this_o glory_n in_o the_o account_n willing_o know_o and_o deliberate_o subject_v themselves_o unto_o his_o will_n and_o pleasure_n and_o do_v the_o thing_n which_o he_o command_v he_o be_v well_o please_v with_o what_o they_o do_v but_o the_o original_n and_o grand_a reason_n why_o he_o be_v so_o well_o please_v with_o what_o they_o do_v in_o this_o case_n be_v not_o because_o they_o do_v what_o he_o have_v command_v but_o themselves_o and_o this_o be_v the_o true_a reason_n why_o god_n accept_v man_n hereupon_o it_o be_v most_o agreeable_a to_o the_o high_a principle_n of_o reason_n in_o the_o world_n that_o the_o say_n of_o his_o great_a prophet_n elijah_n 1_o king_n 18.21_o how_o long_o halt_v you_o between_o two_o etc._n etc._n as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v never_o destroy_v yourselves_o do_v not_o sometime_o their_o face_n that_o certain_o they_o be_v not_o fill_v with_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n there_o be_v indeed_o another_o kind_n of_o zeal_n which_o you_o may_v conceive_v better_o of_o and_o this_o
