respect_n of_o person_n can_v stand_v with_o the_o faith_n religion_n and_o profession_n of_o the_o gospel_n neither_o with_o christian_n charity_n &_o love_n of_o all_o those_o which_o call_v upon_o jesus_n christ_n especial_o to_o be_v nourish_v and_o cherish_v 1_o what_o be_v respect_n of_o person_n it_o be_v to_o respect_v any_o thing_n beside_o the_o cause_n and_o matter_n itself_o which_o only_o ought_v of_o we_o to_o be_v consider_v whereby_o we_o decline_v from_o the_o matter_n to_o the_o man_n from_o the_o thing_n to_o the_o person_n and_o swerve_v from_o equity_n righteous_a judgement_n and_o true_a estimation_n of_o thing_n which_o thing_n may_v appear_v more_o evident_a by_o example_n one_o or_o two_o set_v down_o and_o consider_v if_o then_o for_o example_n sake_n two_o man_n labour_n in_o the_o church_n or_o common_a wealth_n for_o one_o and_o the_o same_o office_n upon_o a_o worthy_a man_n only_o to_o be_v confer_v the_o one_o very_o worthy_a and_o fit_v for_o the_o place_n but_o neither_o kinsman_n friend_n familiar_a nor_o of_o acquaintance_n the_o other_o not_o worthy_a yet_o near_o unto_o we_o by_o birth_n link_v with_o we_o in_o league_n of_o love_n of_o our_o familiar_a and_o best_a acquaintance_n to_o look_v unto_o kindred_n familiarity_n and_o acquaintance_n and_o not_o to_o the_o worthiness_n of_o the_o man_n and_o necessity_n of_o the_o place_n whereunto_o we_o ought_v to_o have_v regard_n this_o be_v respect_n of_o person_n for_o we_o regard_v not_o so_o much_o the_o worthiness_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v in_o he_o who_o we_o shall_v thereunto_o promote_v as_o we_o do_v to_o his_o person_n who_o we_o have_v promote_v in_o like_a manner_n if_o two_o man_n have_v commit_v like_o trespass_n thereby_o deserve_v either_o and_o in_o regard_n thereof_o either_o to_o favour_n or_o to_o contemn_v they_o to_o account_v of_o they_o or_o to_o disdain_v they_o and_o in_o regard_n of_o like_a consideration_n either_o to_o do_v for_o favour_n or_o not_o to_o do_v for_o fear_n any_o thing_n against_o equity_n justice_n charity_n be_v respect_n of_o person_n when_o we_o see_v rich_a mighty_a honourable_a man_n adorn_v with_o costly_a array_n deck_v with_o gold_n and_o precious_a pearl_n attend_v upon_o with_o great_a train_n of_o man_n to_o judge_v according_a to_o this_o outward_a appearance_n and_o to_o have_v they_o in_o account_n &_o admiration_n with_o the_o contempt_n of_o the_o poor_a which_o be_v religious_a zealous_a virtuous_a and_o honest_a be_v to_o have_v the_o faith_n of_o christ_n in_o respect_n of_o prayer_n negligent_a in_o duty_n their_o loin_n weaken_v and_o press_v with_o a_o heavy_a weight_n and_o burden_n of_o trouble_n and_o pass_v through_o the_o fire_n and_o water_n of_o affliction_n run_v speedy_o by_o prayer_n to_o god_n for_o succour_n as_o the_o scripture_n of_o god_n and_o example_n of_o the_o saint_n teach_v us._n when_o the_o prophet_n have_v denounce_v calamity_n and_o misery_n against_o 17._o isai_n 17._o damascus_n and_o ephraim_n and_o tell_v the_o people_n what_o affliction_n shall_v befall_v they_o show_v the_o effect_n and_o work_v which_o affliction_n cause_v in_o the_o saint_n especial_o even_o to_o force_v we_o to_o god_n and_o make_v we_o by_o prayer_n to_o humble_v ourselves_o unto_o he_o say_v at_o that_o day_n shall_v a_o man_n look_v to_o his_o in_o our_o affliction_n if_o ever_o have_v our_o recourse_n by_o prayer_n unto_o god_n this_o be_v therefore_o in_o all_o affliction_n the_o best_a remedy_n to_o fly_v unto_o god_n by_o prayer_n which_o have_v place_n both_o in_o adversity_n and_o in_o prosperity_n both_o in_o mourning_n and_o in_o mirth_n both_o in_o sorrow_v and_o in_o joy_n whereof_o the_o apostle_n in_o this_o place_n
