denounce_v against_o they_o jonah_n 3.5_o and_o if_o the_o old_a world_n and_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o sodom_n will_v have_v do_v so_o there_o be_v no_o doubt_n but_o that_o they_o may_v have_v prevent_v the_o heavy_a judgement_n of_o god_n that_o befall_v they_o god_n sufficient_o declare_v his_o proneness_n to_o mercy_n in_o the_o matter_n of_o sodom_n when_o he_o tell_v abraham_n gen._n 18.32_o that_o if_o he_o find_v but_o ten_o righteous_a man_n in_o sodom_n he_o will_v spare_v the_o whole_a city_n for_o their_o sake_n again_o we_o may_v see_v that_o the_o jew_n have_v warning_n proceed_v on_o in_o wickedness_n and_o after_o all_o the_o warn_v that_o be_v give_v they_o will_v still_o through_o their_o unbelief_n be_v surprise_v with_o destruction_n before_o they_o be_v well_o sensible_a that_o it_o be_v come_v upon_o they_o and_o as_o for_o ourselves_o beside_o what_o i_o have_v say_v before_o archbishop_n usher_n that_o reverend_a prelate_n have_v long_o since_o tell_v we_o what_o a_o dreadful_a time_n be_v come_v upon_o we_o and_o the_o great_a preparation_n that_o be_v make_v for_o war_n and_o the_o noise_n of_o gun_n that_o be_v hear_v and_o the_o several_a attempt_n that_o have_v be_v make_v and_o other_o occurrence_n wherein_o there_o seem_v to_o i_o to_o be_v something_o of_o the_o finger_n of_o god_n do_v admonish_v and_o warn_v we_o that_o misery_n and_o destruction_n be_v ready_a to_o come_v upon_o we_o and_o call_v we_o all_o to_o a_o speedy_a and_o deep_a repentance_n and_o by_o all_o these_o let_v we_o be_v awake_v out_o of_o our_o carnal_a security_n and_o vain_a confidence_n that_o we_o may_v not_o be_v surprise_v like_o blind_a fool_n but_o may_v be_v wise_a betimes_o and_o provide_v for_o our_o own_o preservation_n and_o salvation_n that_o we_o perish_v not_o and_o iii_o we_o have_v here_o the_o duty_n which_o the_o prophet_n exhort_v they_o to_o upon_o the_o come_n of_o this_o day_n of_o the_o lord_n upon_o they_o brief_o in_o these_o word_n let_v all_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o land_n tremble_v and_o this_o duty_n he_o more_o large_o insi_v on_o in_o this_o chapter_n and_o here_o we_o see_v that_o the_o exhortation_n be_v general_a and_o all_o be_v to_o be_v concern_v and_o move_v to_o fear_n and_o tremble_a at_o the_o come_n of_o this_o day_n from_o hence_o i_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o show_v something_o of_o the_o duty_n which_o we_o
