time_n if_o after_o conference_n we_o shall_v find_v that_o our_o assertion_n do_v consent_n with_o paul_n mind_n and_o doctrine_n and_o that_o the_o adversary_n be_v of_o the_o same_o mind_n and_o work_n and_o for_o the_o justification_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v require_v in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n but_o by_o one_o and_o the_o self_n same_o disputation_n he_o conclude_v both_o against_o nature_n and_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n and_o for_o christ_n and_o for_o god_n grace_n in_o he_o that_o be_v for_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n for_o the_o doctrine_n of_o antecedent_n must_v necessary_o be_v include_v in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o consequent_a by_o this_o purpose_n of_o paul_n we_o may_v see_v what_o be_v the_o drift_n of_o those_o adversary_n jew_n and_o what_o be_v their_o judgement_n against_o who_o he_o dispute_v in_o the_o epistle_n to_o the_o rom._n those_o jew_n they_o on_o the_o contrary_a part_n do_v strive_v for_o nature_n as_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n as_o also_o for_o the_o very_a covenant_n of_o work_n or_o of_o nature_n for_o justification_n and_o salvation_n by_o work_n and_o according_a to_o the_o form_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n they_o do_v i_o say_v contend_v for_o these_o thing_n against_o christ_n against_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n and_o against_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o against_o justification_n and_o salvation_n of_o man_n which_o be_v according_a to_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n igraunt_a that_o as_o be_v aforesaid_a the_o question_n be_v of_o this_o last_o point_n which_o be_v justification_n but_o this_o question_n include_v all_o the_o former_a branch_n as_o be_v before_o show_v wherefore_o let_v we_o consider_v again_o that_o old_a controversy_n answer_v that_o the_o holiness_n of_o the_o person_n christ_n the_o active_a obedience_n of_o christ_n or_o the_o righteousness_n and_o holiness_n of_o his_o person_n and_o life_n how_o it_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o the_o satisfactory_a and_o meritorious_a passion_n of_o christ_n of_o christ_n and_o of_o his_o nature_n divine_a and_o humane_a and_o of_o his_o work_n be_v the_o very_a ground_n or_o foundation_n of_o the_o satisfaction_n and_o merit_n which_o we_o have_v in_o the_o passion_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v the_o excellency_n and_o worthiness_n of_o that_o person_n and_o of_o his_o work_n do_v cause_n that_o his_o passion_n be_v both_o satisfactory_a and_o meritorious_a for_o if_o this_o person_n which_o suffer_v have_v not_o be_v so_o holy_a and_o excellent_a as_o also_o his_o far_o of_o both_o covenant_n &_o of_o they_o which_o be_v under_o the_o covenant_n of_o god_n either_o of_o work_n or_o of_o grace_n chap._n v._o a_o comparison_n of_o our_o judgement_n and_o of_o the_o adversary_n concern_v both_o these_o
