uncertain_a hope_n have_v no_o further_o assurance_n of_o god_n defence_n than_o such_o as_o measure_v every_o issue_n by_o good_a or_o evil_a fortune_n wicked_a the_o blind_a god_n of_o wicked_a man_n but_o as_o we_o be_v profess_v christian_n so_o our_o hope_n ought_v only_o to_o be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o the_o god_n alsufficient_a in_o christ_n in_o who_o we_o may_v assure_v ourselves_o if_o we_o be_v fruitful_a christian_n that_o the_o god_n of_o host_n be_v with_o our_o army_n abroad_o and_o with_o we_o at_o home_o and_o he_o will_v give_v they_o and_o we_o by_o they_o most_o wish_a success_n as_o he_o have_v already_o and_o many_o way_n do_v but_o where_o be_v our_o thankfulness_n as_o we_o look_v to_o be_v always_o partaker_n of_o his_o power_n and_o providence_n benefit_n of_o his_o mercy_n and_o protection_n as_o we_o hope_v happy_a issue_n of_o our_o enterprise_n so_o we_o must_v show_v our_o gratitude_n for_o his_o former_a benefit_n by_o our_o conform_a life_n and_o by_o daily_a prayer_n both_o abroad_o and_o at_o home_n for_o if_o the_o lord_n regard_v not_o the_o strength_n of_o a_o horse_n it_o follow_v he_o have_v no_o pleasure_n in_o the_o force_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n but_o his_o delight_n be_v in_o they_o that_o fear_v he_o he_o and_o walk_v according_a to_o his_o commandment_n faith_n prevail_v most_o with_o god_n be_v fruitful_a and_o lively_a as_o for_o armour_n or_o army_n they_o neither_o prevail_v against_o he_o nor_o without_o he_o but_o that_o part_n wherewith_o he_o be_v a_o party_n prevail_v always_o for_o lust_n and_o flatter_v ourselves_o in_o our_o sin_n they_o may_v prevail_v be_v they_o but_o gnat_n and_o we_o all_o as_o valiant_a as_o hercules_n and_o strong_a as_o samson_n and_o therefore_o the_o lord_n open_v our_o eye_n that_o we_o may_v see_v the_o cause_n of_o these_o danger_n for_o sure_o if_o we_o du_o search_v war_n we_o shall_v find_v the_o same_o to_o be_v even_o in_o ourselves_o in_o our_o city_n and_o in_o the_o country_n in_o our_o court_n and_o in_o our_o cloister_n in_o our_o hand_n and_o in_o our_o heart_n in_o every_o man_n aswell_o mighty_a as_o mean_v and_o as_o every_o man_n have_v a_o share_n in_o the_o cause_n of_o this_o unsavourie_a noise_n of_o war_n so_o be_v we_o all_o like_a to_o be_v partaker_n of_o the_o danger_n without_o true_a humiliation_n and_o hearty_a reformation_n of_o our_o corrupt_a life_n for_o if_o falsehood_n deceit_n lie_v swear_v blasphemy_n envy_n dissimulate_v love_n flattery_n adultery_n drunkenness_n cruelty_n injustice_n neglect_v of_o the_o true_a practice_n of_o religion_n and_o above_o all_o if_o pride_n and_o covetousness_n the_o two_o infernal_a strumper_n and_o bawd_n of_o all_o other_o mischief_n and_o impiety_n be_v find_v fruitful_a among_o we_o and_o to_o pass_v currant_n without_o punishment_n we_o have_v cause_n to_o fear_v for_o the_o least_o of_o these_o former_a evil_n have_v heretofore_o bring_v not_o only_o whole_a family_n but_o great_a city_n country_n and_o flourish_a kingdom_n to_o ruin_n and_o most_o lamentable_a desolation_n all_o former_a world_n have_v taste_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n for_o these_o sin_n sin_n which_o when_o they_o have_v grow_v hot_a by_o use_n and_o toleration_n have_v inflame_v and_o become_v impostumate_v and_o at_o last_o to_o ripeness_n and_o rupture_n and_o consequent_o have_v yield_v so_o loathsome_a a_o stink_n as_o the_o true_a comfort_a spirit_n have_v abhor_v to_o lodge_v near_o the_o same_o so_o that_o there_o have_v follow_v deserve_v confusion_n god_n forbid_v therefore_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v thus_o infect_v for_o than_o can_v we_o not_o be_v sure_a of_o our_o safety_n at_o home_n nor_o of_o our_o force_n abroad_o who_o can_v but_o prosper_v the_o worse_a for_o our_o wickedness_n it_o may_v be_v think_v these_o evil_n be_v not_o great_a among_o we_o because_o we_o little_o consider_v they_o they_o lie_v not_o
