present_a exercise_n and_o force_v by_o virtue_n of_o law_n which_o be_v intend_v in_o the_o covenant_n 2_o whether_o the_o way_n and_o course_n defend_v by_o our_o author_n do_v not_o cross_v and_o principle_n for_o they_o separate_v from_o church_n they_o confess_v to_o be_v true_a church_n and_o the_o member_n thereof_o they_o own_o for_o believer_n brethren_n and_z within_z in_o baptise_v their_o child_n upon_o the_o account_n of_o federal_a holiness_n in_o stead_n of_o reform_v their_o church_n as_o form_v of_o old_a by_o our_o first_o reformer_n they_o form_n up_o a_o new_a of_o etc._n and_o hence_o with_o good_a conscience_n i_o fear_v not_o to_o oppose_v their_o way_n and_o course_n without_o breach_n of_o my_o covenant_n nay_o in_o the_o 2._o article_n of_o the_o covenant_n we_o be_v bind_v without_o respect_n of_o person_n to_o endeavour_v the_o extirpation_n of_o superstition_n and_o schism_n as_o well_o as_o popery_n prelacy_n and_o heresy_n the_o two_o former_a may_v with_o good_a conscience_n be_v charge_v upon_o your_o way_n 1._o superstition_n because_o you_o urge_v upon_o all_o you_o admit_v duty_n of_o necessity_n that_o god_n no_o where_o command_n bind_v the_o conscience_n where_o it_o be_v free_a and_o so_o become_v lord_n of_o man_n faith_n and_o unless_o christ_n subject_n will_v submit_v to_o these_o superstitious_a invention_n you_o have_v frame_v you_o exclude_v they_o from_o necessary_a duty_n of_o homage_n and_o worship_n enjoin_v by_o their_o lord_n 2._o schism_n because_o you_o be_v run_v into_o a_o unnecessary_a
