under_o the_o law_n be_v bind_v more_o strict_o to_o rest_v from_o bodily_a exercise_n and_o worldly_a affair_n on_o their_o sabbath_n than_o christian_n be_v on_o the_o lord_n day_n under_o the_o gospel_n jnsomuch_o that_o the_o strict_a bond_n of_o rest_n unto_o which_o the_o law_n tie_v they_o be_v a_o heavy_a yoke_n and_o apart_o of_o the_o bondage_n under_o which_o they_o groan_v other_o be_v of_o opinion_n that_o their_o rest_n be_v no_o more_o but_o from_o worldly_a affair_n &_o bodily_a exercise_n serve_v only_o for_o bodily_a delight_n &_o worldly_a profit_n be_v the_o very_a same_o unto_o which_o all_o god_n people_n be_v bind_v in_o all_o age_n and_o be_v still_o under_o the_o gospel_n there_o be_v reason_n bring_v on_o both_o side_n but_o all_o scripture_n and_o reason_n be_v well_o weigh_v i_o doubt_v not_o but_o they_o may_v be_v bring_v to_o agree_v in_o one_o truth_n if_o only_o one_o thing_n wherein_o both_o side_n agree_v and_o which_o both_o mistake_n be_v remove_v namely_o a_o conceit_n which_o both_o have_v of_o a_o more_o strict_a and_o religious_a exaction_n of_o rest_n and_o cessation_n than_o indeed_o be_v require_v in_o the_o sabbath_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n they_o who_o hold_v the_o first_o opinion_n bring_v many_o testimony_n of_o scripture_n which_o seem_v to_o impose_v such_o a_o strict_a rest_n &_o cessation_n on_o the_o father_n and_o the_o isralite_n under_o the_o law_n as_o be_v by_o common_a experience_n find_v to_o be_v a_o heavy_a burden_n hard_a to_o be_v bear_v and_o even_o intolerable_a as_o for_o example_n exod._n 9.16.23_o where_o moses_n speak_v thus_o unto_o israel_n this_o be_v that_o which_o the_o lord_n have_v say_v to_o morrow_n be_v the_o rest_n of_o the_o holy_a sabbath_n unto_o the_o lord_n sabbath_n in_o respect_n of_o rest_n and_o cessation_n which_o be_v exact_v in_o the_o old_a testament_n with_o such_o rigour_n and_o upon_o such_o grievous_a penalty_n be_v a_o heavy_a and_o intolerable_a burden_n and_o therefore_o be_v abolish_v by_o christ_n in_o respect_n of_o that_o total_a cessation_n and_o strict_a rest_n other_o on_o the_o contrary_n do_v hold_v that_o as_o christian_n have_v more_o clear_a evidence_n &_o hope_n of_o eternal_a rest_n in_o heaven_n and_o the_o spirit_n which_o make_v the_o more_o spiritual_a shed_v on_o they_o more_o abundant_o through_o christ_n so_o they_o ought_v to_o be_v more_o restrain_v from_o love_n of_o the_o world_n &_o from_o care_n of_o earthly_a thing_n and_o therefore_o by_o the_o law_n of_o the_o sabbath_n be_v bind_v rather_o more_o strict_o than_o the_o father_n in_o the_o old_a testament_n
