Duke of Lerma aforesaid and Lord Lieutenant of Castilla enioyeth all the aforesayd estate which with his owne amounteth to three hundred and fourty thousand Duckets a yeare The said Lerma perceiuing himselfe disfauoured by the King procured a Cardinals hat for his owne safety And the said Dukes fauourite Marques of Siete Yglesias Don Rodrigo Calderon Captaine of his Maiesties Guard being attainted of high Treason according to the accustomed manner of Spayne for execution of such malefactors had his throat cut in the open Market place at Madrid and all his goods confiscated to the King
