the_o shadow_n of_o his_o command_n he_o only_o have_v power_n to_o give_v measure_n to_o the_o heaven_n bound_n to_o the_o sea_n to_o join_v the_o east_n and_o west_n together_o in_o a_o instant_n the_o scum_n of_o the_o world_n they_o make_v great_a use_n of_o their_o labour_n and_o service_n which_o be_v just_a but_o neglect_v their_o body_n and_o kill_v their_o soul_n by_o the_o infection_n of_o their_o wicked_a example_n mark_v the_o humility_n of_o this_o soldier_n who_o do_v not_o think_v his_o house_n worthy_a to_o be_v enlighten_v by_o one_o sole_a glimpse_n of_o our_o bless_a saviour_n presence_n by_o the_o word_n of_o saint_n augustine_n we_o may_v say_v he_o make_v himself_o worthy_a by_o believe_v and_o declare_v himself_o so_o unworthy_a yea_o worthy_a that_o our_o saviour_n shall_v enter_v not_o only_o into_o his_o house_n but_o into_o his_o very_a soul_n and_o upon_o the_o matter_n he_o can_v not_o have_v speak_v with_o such_o faith_n and_o humility_n if_o he_o have_v not_o first_o enclose_v in_o his_o heart_n he_o who_o he_o dare_v not_o receive_v into_o his_o house_n 3_o the_o gentile_n come_v near_o unto_o god_n and_o the_o jew_n go_v from_o he_o benefit_n daily_o from_o they_o if_o you_o speak_v courteous_o to_o they_o they_o answer_v churlish_o and_o in_o the_o same_o proportion_n wherein_o you_o be_v good_a you_o make_v they_o wicked_a therefore_o we_o must_v be_v careful_a that_o we_o be_v not_o so_o towards_o god_n many_o be_v distaste_v with_o devotion_n as_o the_o israelite_n be_v with_o manna_n all_o which_o be_v good_a do_v displease_v they_o because_o it_o be_v ordinary_a and_o you_o shall_v find_v some_o who_o like_o naughty_a ground_n cast_v up_o thorn_n where_o rose_n be_v plant_v but_o we_o have_v great_a reason_n yet_o my_o unruly_a spirit_n be_v not_o obedient_a alas_o alas_o this_o family_n of_o my_o heart_n be_v ill_o govern_v it_o have_v violent_a passion_n my_o thought_n be_v wander_a &_o my_o reason_n be_v ill_o obey_v shall_v it_o never_o be_v like_o the_o house_n of_o this_o good_a centurion_n where_o every_o thing_n go_v by_o measure_n because_o he_o measure_v himself_o by_o thy_o commandment_n
