a_o end_n to_o their_o misery_n and_o in_o stead_n of_o horror_n of_o conscience_n send_v they_o comfort_n &_o in_o stead_n of_o grief_n joy_v unspeakable_a and_o though_o the_o lord_n shall_v suffer_v they_o to_o be_v tempt_v all_o their_o life_n long_o till_o their_o die_a day_n yet_o then_o the_o lord_n will_v give_v they_o a_o bless_a issue_n of_o all_o their_o misery_n and_o fill_v scripture_n yet_o for_o all_o that_o we_o see_v by_o the_o example_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n that_o the_o scripture_n be_v of_o sufficient_a power_n to_o give_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o scripture_n to_o interpret_v themselves_o and_o to_o show_v what_o be_v the_o true_a sense_n of_o the_o scripture_n though_o they_o be_v dumb_a and_o as_o we_o see_v that_o a_o man_n may_v aswell_o show_v his_o mind_n to_o his_o friend_n by_o letter_n and_o writing_n as_o by_o word_n of_o mouth_n even_o so_o the_o lord_n god_n speak_v now_o to_o his_o people_n by_o the_o scripture_n as_o well_o as_o he_o do_v in_o old_a time_n by_o his_o own_o lively_a voice_n from_o heaven_n but_o if_o the_o papist_n will_v yet_o deny_v the_o scripture_n to_o have_v power_n to_o judge_v and_o determine_v of_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o scripture_n then_o will_v i_o know_v who_o have_v this_o power_n give_v unto_o he_o they_o answer_v the_o church_n must_v give_v judgement_n and_o determine_v of_o the_o faithful_o in_o their_o lawful_a calling_n they_o may_v assure_v themselves_o of_o god_n blessing_n and_o his_o protection_n but_o as_o for_o those_o who_o to_o show_v their_o agility_n and_o to_o make_v sport_n walk_v on_o rope_n or_o run_v upon_o the_o roof_n of_o house_n these_o man_n have_v no_o calling_n from_o god_n so_o to_o do_v they_o can_v look_v for_o god_n protection_n nay_o they_o in_o so_o do_v tempt_v god_n cast_v themselves_o upon_o danger_n and_o our_o saviour_n christ_n may_v a_o thousand_o time_n better_a have_v do_v this_o which_o satan_n will_v have_v he_o here_o to_o doâ—_n yet_o will_v he_o not_o put_v himself_o into_o needless_a danger_n lest_o he_o shall_v tempt_v god_n much_o less_o ought_v any_o man_n else_o adventure_v to_o do_v it_o and_o in_o this_o that_o comfort_n neither_o have_v we_o any_o promise_n of_o protection_n from_o god_n but_o so_o long_o as_o we_o walk_v in_o obedience_n of_o god_n commandment_n and_o within_o the_o compass_n of_o our_o calling_n we_o have_v this_o bless_a promise_n from_o god_n that_o his_o angel_n shall_v take_v the_o care_n of_o we_o to_o guard_v and_o to_o defend_v us._n again_o 8._o the_o devil_n take_v he_o into_o a_o exceed_a high_a mountain_n in_o the_o seven_o verse_n go_v before_o we_o have_v hear_v of_o the_o two_o first_o temptation_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n
