white_a stone_n give_v he_o as_o a_o sign_n of_o absolution_n all_o believer_n be_v acquit_v and_o discharge_v through_o christ_n here_o he_o have_v satisfy_v divine_a justice_n for_o they_o rom._n 8._o 33._o and_o they_o shall_v have_v a_o public_a absolution_n in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n before_o angel_n and_o man_n rev._n 20._o 11_o 12._o christ_n at_o that_o day_n will_v full_o and_o open_o acquit_v his_o own_o people_n and_o say_v enter_v now_o into_o the_o joy_n of_o your_o lord_n three_o in_o this_o white_a stone_n christ_n promise_v to_o overcomer_n a_o new_a name_n write_v name_n write_v in_o the_o white_a stone_n of_o absolution_n pardon_v of_o sin_n and_o the_o gracious_a promise_n of_o eternal_a life_n this_o new_a name_n be_v christ_n own_o handwriting_n and_o none_o can_v read_v it_o but_o such_o as_o be_v spiritual_o teach_v by_o christ_n the_o natural_a man_n that_o be_v the_o unconverted_a man_n receive_v not_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o spirit_n because_o they_o be_v foolishness_n to_o he_o and_o he_o know_v they_o not_o because_o they_o be_v spiritual_o discern_v they_o can_v be_v see_v with_o a_o blind_a eye_n five_o season_n be_v when_o they_o die_v die_v time_n be_v seal_v time_n to_o many_o believer_n many_o christian_n here_o walk_v in_o the_o dark_a and_o have_v their_o whole_a life_n as_o it_o be_v like_o that_o day_n speak_v of_o and_o describe_v by_o the_o prophet_n zech._n 14._o 17._o a_o day_n that_o be_v neither_o dark_a nor_o light_n some_o enjoy_v more_o of_o god_n than_o other_o do_v and_o be_v seal_v in_o a_o great_a degree_n and_o as_o for_o those_o who_o life_n be_v a_o life_n between_o hope_n and_o fear_n they_o shall_v more_o or_o less_o have_v a_o evening_n time_n of_o light_n and_o joy_n god_n that_o have_v promise_v to_o be_v with_o his_o live_n will_v not_o forsake_v they_o utter_o when_o die_a he_o will_v not_o be_v a_o stranger_n much_o less_o a_o terror_n to_o they_o many_o have_v live_v in_o the_o dark_a and_o when_o they_o have_v die_v they_o have_v see_v god_n sweet_a face_n and_o have_v have_v his_o love_n seal_v up_o to_o their_o soul_n when_o all_o comfort_n be_v go_v than_o god_n send_v he_o to_o they_o when_o their_o outward_a appetite_n fail_v than_o god_n feed_v they_o with_o spiritual_a hide_a manna_n though_o all_o god_n child_n have_v not_o joy_n and_o assurance_n alike_o when_o they_o die_v yet_o they_o all_o have_v joy_n and_o be_v seal_v more_o or_o less_o for_o as_o the_o wicked_a have_v some_o apprehension_n of_o hell_n and_o wrath_n in_o their_o conscience_n which_o make_v they_o afraid_a to_o die_v as_o one_o cry_v out_o i_o be_o so_o sinful_a that_o i_o can_v die_v and_o say_v another_o i_o have_v live_v in_o care_n and_o now_o die_v in_o doubt_n for_o whither_o i_o be_o go_v i_o can_v tell_v so_o the_o godly_a have_v some_o fore-tastes_a of_o god_n love_n and_o favour_n when_o they_o die_v though_o it_o be_v true_a their_o disease_n may_v be_v such_o and_o their_o animal_n spirit_n so_o oppress_v that_o they_o can_v express_v what_o they_o feel_v good_a jacob_n say_v one_o lay_v asleep_a upon_o a_o stone_n when_o he_o see_v a_o vision_n gen._n 28._o 7_o 8_o 9_o so_o the_o saint_n when_o they_o lie_v themselves_o down_o to_o sleep_v the_o sleep_n of_o death_n they_o have_v often_o a_o vision_n from_o god_n they_o see_v the_o light_n of_o his_o countenance_n and_o have_v his_o love_n seal_v up_o to_o they_o for_o ever_o now_o they_o desire_v with_o good_a old_a simeon_n luke_n 2._o 30_o 31._o to_o be_v go_v and_o depart_v border_n of_o dispair_n and_o at_o last_o he_o be_v sweet_o assure_v and_o seal_v be_v ask_v how_o he_o answer_v not_o

part_n and_o from_o every_o sin_n prayer_n be_v a_o external_a mean_n ordain_v of_o god_n to_o obtain_v pardon_n and_o other_o mercy_n in_o therefore_o we_o be_v bid_v in_o every_o thing_n to_o make_v our_o request_n know_v to_o god_n phil._n 4._o 5_o 6._o but_o second_o consider_v when_o believer_n pray_v for_o pardon_n of_o sin_n it_o be_v for_o a_o clear_a evidence_n of_o what_o they_o have_v already_o in_o christ_n to_o be_v pardon_v and_o justify_v through_o christ_n and_o so_o secure_v for_o heaven_n be_v one_o thing_n and_o to_o know_v it_o be_v another_o person_n may_v be_v in_o christ_n and_o pardon_v and_o so_o in_o a_o sure_a state_n for_o glory_n and_o yet_o may_v be_v in_o the_o dark_a about_o it_o and_o not_o know_v whether_o they_o be_v so_o or_o no._n now_o it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o these_o to_o seek_v after_o a_o clear_a knowledge_n of_o their_o state_n in_o christ_n and_o the_o pardon_n of_o their_o sin_n through_o his_o blood_n when_o believer_n pray_v for_o pardon_n it_o be_v not_o because_o their_o pardon_n be_v not_o sure_a in_o christ_n but_o it_o be_v that_o they_o may_v get_v a_o clear_a apprehension_n of_o it_o for_o their_o comfort_n three_o consider_v that_o prayer_n do_v not_o prejudice_v the_o stability_n or_o certainty_n of_o a_o thing_n our_o saviour_n himself_o pray_v for_o that_o which_o he_o be_v sure_a of_o john_n 17._o 9_o 10._o the_o covenant_n stand_v fast_o for_o ever_o and_o the_o promise_n of_o pardon_n and_o all_o good_a in_o it_o be_v most_o certain_a and_o shall_v he_o fulfil_v for_o god_n will_v not_o alter_v the_o
