then_o nigh_o at_o hand_n so_o likewise_o you_o also_o when_o you_o see_v these_o thing_n come_v to_o pass_v ▪_o be_v sure_a that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v nigh_o very_o i_o say_v unto_o you_o this_o generation_n shall_v not_o pass_v until_o all_o be_v fulfil_v heaven_n and_o earth_n shall_v pass_v but_o my_o word_n shall_v not_o pass_v the_o sermon_n or_o exposition_n of_o the_o gospel_n in_o this_o day_n gospel_n write_v christ_n our_o lord_n show_v eth_z we_o what_o shall_v be_v the_o estate_n and_o condition_n of_o the_o world_n when_o all_o thing_n draw_v to_o a_o end_n whereby_o we_o may_v know_v when_o the_o great_a and_o horrible_a day_n shall_v appear_v in_o the_o which_o christ_n our_o lord_n himself_o shall_v come_v open_o to_o judgement_n that_o no_o man_n need_v to_o waver_v or_o doubt_v of_o the_o matter_n for_o he_o show_v plain_o the_o sign_n that_o shall_v be_v see_v in_o the_o last_o age_n and_o shall_v go_v before_o the_o last_o day_n as_o token_n thereof_o because_o it_o can_v be_v choose_v but_o that_o so_o truth_n strange_a yea_o &_o that_o the_o last_o change_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n shall_v be_v declare_v by_o many_o and_o great_a token_n sing_v that_o much_o less_o alteration_n of_o country_n and_o nation_n have_v be_v signify_v by_o sign_n and_o wonder_n go_v before_o because_o this_o prefent_a gospel_n have_v be_v before_o time_n sufficient_o declare_v so_o that_o now_o it_o be_v well_o know_v unto_o all_o man_n i_o mind_n not_o to_o show_v the_o doctrine_n that_o thereof_o may_v be_v gather_v but_o after_o a_o other_o manner_n and_o fashion_n to_o handle_v it_o to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n &_o our_o consolation_n for_o therefore_o be_v it_o put_v in_o write_v and_o make_v manifest_a by_o preach_v that_o it_o may_v serve_v to_o our_o comfort_n and_o to_o the_o increase_n of_o faith_n and_o hope_n in_o we_o 4_o which_o profess_v christ_n and_o believe_v in_o he_o notwithstanding_o there_o be_v good_a cause_n why_o it_o may_v be_v a_o terror_n unto_o the_o other_o sort_n of_o man_n i_o mean_v the_o wicked_a unbeliever_n who_o destruction_n these_o sign_n do_v portend_v who_o in_o deed_n be_v nothing_o move_v with_o they_o at_o all_o but_o with_o security_n of_o mind_n do_v contemn_v they_o therefore_o commend_v they_o to_o our_o god_n &_o their_o judge_n which_o shall_v come_v and_o reward_v they_o accord_v to_o their_o desert_n that_o by_o experience_n they_o may_v always_o feel_v that_o which_o now_o they_o neither_o believe_v nor_o regard_v in_o handle_v the_o gospel_n we_o will_v have_v little_a consideration_n of_o they_o but_o will_v make_v it_o fruitful_a unto_o ourselves_o lest_o we_o shall_v suffer_v it_o in_o vain_a to_o be_v put_v in_o writing_n and_o shall_v lose_v the_o fruit_n &_o commodity_n thereof_o which_o if_o we_o consider_v well_o we_o shall_v perceive_v that_o it_o contain_v matter_n very_o comfortable_a and_o joyful_a serve_v much_o for_o our_o commodity_n which_o consolation_n and_o comfort_n be_v very_o needful_a for_o we_o sing_v the_o sign_n of_o themselves_o be_v very_o terrible_a and_o as_o i_o may_v say_v horrible_a to_o behold_v moreover_o christian_n as_o they_o be_v at_o other_o time_n fearful_a enough_o &_o of_o base_a courage_n so_o when_o they_o see_v the_o indignation_n and_o wrath_n of_o god_n towards_o mankind_n the_o wag_n of_o a_o leaf_n be_v able_a to_o make_v they_o amaze_v they_o and_o almost_o dead_a for_o fear_v contrariwise_o the_o wicked_a be_v more_o secure_a and_o hard_a heart_a and_o be_v move_v with_o no_o sign_n be_v they_o never_o so_o great_a and_o horrible_a therefore_o this_o thing_n seem_v not_o to_o fall_v out_o indifferent_o and_o as_o reason_n will_v for_o they_o which_o chief_o shall_v be_v afraid_a who_o god_n by_o his_o sign_n do_v terrible_a threaten_v they_o i_o say_v have_v heart_n of_o horn_n stone_n and_o iron_n so_o that_o they_o regard_v they_o as_o though_o they_o do_v nothing_o appertain_v unto_o they_o what_o soever_o wrath_n of_o god_n be_v to_o come_v &_o be_v even_o now_o at_o hand_n 43_o they_o do_v forewarn_v &_o show_v contrariwise_o gate_n they_o which_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v move_v but_o rather_o rejoice_v when_o they_o see_v these_o sign_n and_o token_n as_o unto_o they_o they_o do_v not_o portend_v any_o wrath_n or_o displeasure_n of_o god_n but_o favour_n &_o consolation_n they_o i_o say_v fear_v more_o them_z need_v and_o can_v scarce_o lift_v up_o their_o heart_n to_o conceive_v such_o sweet_a and_o comfortable_a cogitation_n as_o thereby_o occasion_n be_v offer_v now_o to_o come_v to_o my_o matter_n there_o be_v two_o thing_n chief_o to_o be_v note_v in_o this_o gospel_n the_o one_o be_v that_o our_o saviour_n reckon_v the_o sign_n in_o order_n which_o go_v before_o the_o last_o day_n which_o be_v fulfil_v 14._o we_o may_v know_v for_o a_o certainty_n that_o the_o day_n be_v even_o hard_a at_o hand_n the_o other_o note_n be_v that_o he_o say_v those_o sign_n shall_v be_v a_o consolation_n and_o a_o comfort_n to_o his_o christian_a child_n so_o that_o thereby_o they_o may_v be_v move_v to_o look_v for_o his_o come_n with_o a_o merry_a and_o cheerful_a countenance_n the_o first_o sign_n say_v he_o shall_v appear_v from_o heaven_n in_o the_o sun_n y_fw-fr moon_n and_o the_o star_n that_o be_v to_o say_v as_o matthew_n do_v expound_v it_o the_o sun_n shall_v be_v darken_v and_o the_o 29._o moon_n shall_v not_o geve_v her_o light_n and_o the_o star_n shall_v fall_v from_o heaven_n etc_n etc_n moreover_o upon_o the_o earth_n the_o people_n shall_v be_v at_o their_o wit_n end_n through_o despair_n &_o shall_v be_v in_o such_o perplexity_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o know_v whether_o to_o go_v or_o where_o to_o abide_v their_o heart_n shall_v fail_v they_o for_o fear_n of_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v like_a to_o come_v upon_o they_o again_o sign_n shall_v be_v see_v in_o the_o sea_n &_o in_o the_o water_n so_o that_o all_o creature_n and_o the_o power_n of_o heaven_n shall_v move_v there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o alteration_n that_o the_o world_n shall_v seem_v by_o and_o by_o to_o have_v a_o end_n and_o the_o last_o day_n shall_v seem_v hard_a at_o hand_n here_o i_o will_v not_o great_o contend_v with_o any_o man_n but_o will_v leave_v it_o to_o the_o consideration_n of_o my_o christian_a
