signal_n of_o their_o loyalty_n before_o they_o be_v accept_v subject_n of_o the_o most_o high_a in_o short_a if_o upon_o examination_n we_o find_v our_o faith_n firm_a our_o purpose_n steadfast_a than_o by_o a_o devout_a meditation_n when_o alone_o and_o a_o serious_a attention_n when_o at_o church_n they_o who_o have_v family_n be_v to_o instruct_v their_o household_n in_o their_o duty_n and_o see_v they_o discharge_v it_o by_o give_v good_a example_n and_o instruction_n and_o see_v they_o follow_v they_o for_o when_o all_o be_v do_v the_o effectual_a preacher_n be_v parent_n and_o master_n minister_n may_v give_v the_o best_a counsel_n and_o preach_v the_o great_a truth_n but_o it_o be_v they_o must_v see_v it_o have_v its_o proper_a effect_n in_o their_o own_o life_n and_o conversation_n and_o in_o those_o that_o belong_v to_o they_o if_o this_o be_v industrious_o practise_v what_o encouragement_n will_v it_o be_v to_o the_o minister_n to_o labour_v more_o abundant_o for_o the_o salvation_n of_o their_o flock_n and_o how_o shall_v we_o all_o rejoice_v in_o the_o day_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o they_o have_v neither_o run_v nor_o labour_v in_o vain_a in_o short_a our_o communion_n on_o this_o day_n ought_v to_o be_v free_a from_o lightness_n or_o vanity_n not_o in_o worldly_a affair_n nor_o relation_n of_o foolish_a story_n and_o as_o little_a as_o possible_a in_o common_a talk_n no_o unnecessary_a visit_n nor_o any_o where_o but_o when_o we_o have_v a_o opportunity_n of_o do_v good_a this_o aught_o to_o be_v our_o constant_a care_n to_o apply_v ourselves_o whole_o to_o god_n and_o religion_n and_o avoid_v every_o thing_n as_o much_o as_o possible_a that_o will_v take_v up_o our_o thought_n on_o any_o thing_n else_o this_o be_v true_o to_o sanctify_v the_o sabbath_n and_o they_o who_o can_v thus_o observe_v it_o will_v find_v the_o benefit_n even_o a_o everlasting_a rest_n to_o their_o soul_n in_o heaven_n after_o we_o have_v dine_v let_v we_o retire_v again_o and_o when_o we_o have_v raise_v our_o affection_n by_o a_o serious_a contemplation_n let_v we_o say_v a_o prayer_n after_o dinner_n o_o thou_o all-seeing_a and_o most_o holy_a god_n i_o have_v be_v admit_v to_o make_v my_o oblation_n of_o praise_n and_o myself_o unto_o thou_o and_o be_o infinite_o concern_v that_o thou_o shall_v accept_v i_o therein_o not_o for_o any_o merit_n in_o i_o but_o for_o thy_o own_o mercy_n sake_n o_o my_o god_n thou_o know_v i_o have_v be_v pollute_v with_o sin_n undutiful_a to_o thy_o command_n unfaithful_a to_o my_o promise_n in_o thy_o sight_n oh_o do_v not_o look_v upon_o the_o defect_n of_o a_o wretched_a sinner_n but_o remember_v thy_o own_o mercy_n and_o accept_v what_o thou_o have_v require_v of_o i_o and_o so_o shall_v thy_o favour_n be_v more_o illustrious_a because_o it_o be_v bestow_v upon_o so_o evil_a and_o undeserving_a a_o creature_n and_o the_o sense_n of_o my_o unworthiness_n shall_v enlarge_v my_o name_n that_o we_o may_v receive_v new_a instruction_n for_o the_o amendment_n of_o our_o life_n and_o the_o confirmation_n of_o our_o faith_n that_o we_o may_v enlarge_v our_o desire_n after_o heaven_n and_o see_v the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o habitation_n of_o the_o lord_n at_o our_o return_n home_o it_o will_v be_v necessary_a that_o we_o give_v up_o ourselves_o to_o a_o serious_a meditation_n of_o our_o action_n this_o day_n if_o our_o heart_n condemn_v we_o not_o then_o have_v we_o confidence_n towards_o god_n if_o otherwise_o let_v we_o humble_o beg_v pardon_n let_v we_o
