wash_v and_o cleanse_v thus_o much_o concern_v the_o ceremonial_a law_n to_o show_v how_o and_o in_o what_o respect_v it_o be_v establish_v by_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n chap._n vii_o there_o be_v two_o other_o law_n mention_v by_o the_o apostle_n in_o the_o former_a part_n of_o this_o epistle_n by_o neither_o of_o which_o man_n can_v be_v justify_v in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n one_o be_v the_o law_n of_o nature_n the_o other_o be_v the_o moral_a law_n write_v and_o deliver_v in_o the_o scripture_n it_o be_v needful_a for_o the_o apostle_n to_o speak_v distinct_o of_o both_o these_o for_o 1._o his_o great_a design_n be_v to_o make_v know_v the_o only_a way_n whereby_o man_n may_v be_v justify_v and_o accept_v as_o righteous_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n the_o chapter_n of_o this_o epistle_n shall_v we_o continue_v in_o sin_n that_o grace_n may_v abound_v etc._n the_o apostle_n have_v show_v before_o that_o all_o have_v sin_v in_o adam_n beside_o the_o guilt_n of_o their_o own_o actual_a sin_n yea_o even_o such_o as_o live_v before_o the_o law_n be_v give_v by_o moses_n and_o that_o by_o the_o publish_n of_o the_o law_n sin_n abound_v the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n increase_v but_o then_o withal_o he_o add_v that_o where_o sin_n abound_v grace_n do_v much_o more_o abound_v the_o free_a love_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n be_v glorious_o manifest_v in_o pardon_v sin_n thus_o heighten_v and_o aggravate_v by_o the_o express_a law_n and_o in_o free_o justify_v sinner_n condemn_v by_o the_o write_v law_n hence_o this_o question_n or_o objection_n to_o justification_n and_o pardon_v of_o sin_n through_o christ_n who_o yield_v themselves_o up_o to_o the_o service_n of_o sin_n so_o verse_n 14_o he_o say_v to_o believer_n 14._o you_o be_v not_o under_o
