themselves_o from_o heaven_n who_o be_v now_o hold_v under_o chain_n of_o black_a darkness_n for_o ever_o second_o it_o bring_v such_o a_o burden_n with_o it_o as_o all_o creature_n can_v stand_v under_o the_o sinner_n that_o he_o can_v bestir_v himself_o in_o good_a duty_n nor_o walk_v in_o god_n way_n but_o with_o this_o difference_n the_o wicked_a move_v not_o at_o all_o the_o godly_a but_o weak_o they_o feel_v it_o not_o nor_o complain_v these_o groan_n and_o sigh_v and_o cry_v out_o oh_o who_o shall_v deliver_v i_o the_o good_a i_o will_v do_v i_o can_v the_o evil_a i_o hate_v i_o do_v feel_v it_o nor_o groan_v nor_o struggle_v to_o get_v from_o under_o it_o he_o be_v a_o dead_a man_n so_o he_o that_o carry_v the_o burden_n of_o his_o sin_n and_o feel_v no_o danger_n no_o bondage_n groan_v not_o under_o the_o law_n of_o his_o member_n be_v senseless_a of_o his_o imperfection_n and_o corruption_n this_o man_n be_v dead_a while_o he_o live_v as_o paul_n speak_v of_o widow_n lade_v with_o lust_n and_o live_v in_o pleasure_n so_o this_o man_n abide_v under_o death_n till_o this_o hour_n what_o be_v the_o reason_n then_o that_o the_o most_o man_n never_o feel_v quest._n this_o peace_n in_o their_o conscience_n the_o reason_n be_v first_o because_o they_o be_v dead_a without_o answ._n the_o life_n of_o god_n and_o grace_n without_o sense_n and_o feel_n of_o be_v this_o heavy_a burden_n which_o be_v feel_v only_o by_o grace_n not_o by_o corruption_n and_o according_a to_o the_o measure_n of_o grace_n be_v the_o measure_n of_o this_o sense_n the_o less_o sin_n be_v feel_v the_o less_o grace_n and_o so_o may_v thou_o according_o judge_v of_o thyself_o what_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o man_n can_v cry_v out_o of_o the_o stone_n in_o the_o reins_n but_o never_o or_o seldom_o of_o the_o stone_n of_o the_o heart_n but_o because_o they_o have_v natural_a life_n which_o affect_v they_o with_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o one_o but_o want_v supernatural_a life_n which_o shall_v strike_v they_o with_o the_o sense_n and_o pain_n of_o the_o other_o a_o spiritual_a burden_n no_o marvel_n if_o it_o be_v not_o feel_v of_o they_o that_o be_v all_o flesh_n peace_n unto_o ahab_n upon_o his_o humiliation_n god_n hear_v what_o a_o wicked_a man_n say_v in_o prayer_n and_o yet_o hear_v not_o his_o prayer_n no_o not_o when_o he_o give_v the_o same_o answ._n thing_n that_o he_o ask_v for_o first_o all_o that_o the_o wicked_a get_v not_o from_o he_o be_v external_a and_o common_a to_o good_a and_o bad_a but_o no_o one_o favour_n of_o special_a grace_n second_o he_o give_v they_o even_o that_o in_o wrath_n and_o vengeance_n not_o for_o their_o prayer_n sake_n three_o when_o they_o ask_v thing_n good_a in_o themselves_o and_o evil_a for_o they_o not_o know_v to_o use_v they_o aright_o he_o grant_v in_o justice_n what_o it_o have_v be_v mercy_n to_o have_v deny_v as_o contrariwise_o he_o hear_v his_o child_n in_o mercy_n deny_v they_o that_o
