creature_n above_o the_o angel_n whereby_o god_n afterward_o create_v heaven_n and_o earth_n mahomet_n and_o all_o other_o thing_n so_o mahomet_n also_o speak_v honourable_o of_o christ_n but_o all_o all_o the_o religion_n of_o the_o heathen_a all_o work_n all_o merit_n and_o all_o superstitious_a ceremony_n for_o if_o our_o sin_n may_v be_v take_v away_o by_o our_o own_o work_n merit_n and_o satisfaction_n what_o need_v the_o son_n of_o god_n to_o be_v give_v for_o they_o but_o see_v he_o be_v give_v for_o they_o it_o follow_v that_o we_o can_v not_o do_v they_o away_o by_o our_o own_o work_n again_o by_o this_o sentence_n it_o be_v declare_v that_o our_o sin_n be_v so_o great_a so_o infinite_a and_o invincible_a that_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o the_o whole_a world_n to_o satisfy_v for_o one_o of_o they_o and_o sure_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o ransom_n namely_o christ_n the_o son_n of_o god_n who_o give_v himself_o for_o our_o sin_n declare_v sufficient_o that_o we_o can_v neither_o satisfy_v for_o sin_n
overthrow_v whole_a kingdom_n and_o empire_n therefore_o as_o many_o as_o trust_v to_o their_o own_o strength_n and_o righteousness_n do_v serve_v a_o god_n but_o such_o a_o god_n as_o they_o themselves_o have_v devise_v and_o not_o the_o true_a god_n in_o deed_n for_o the_o true_a god_n speak_v thus_o no_o righteousness_n wisdom_n god._n nor_o religion_n please_v i_o but_o that_o only_o whereby_o the_o father_n be_v glorify_v through_o the_o son_n whosoever_o apprehend_v this_o son_n and_o i_o and_o my_o promise_n in_o he_o by_o faith_n to_o he_o i_o be_o a_o god_n to_o he_o i_o be_o much_o adversity_n and_o at_o length_n death_n itself_o yet_o there_o be_v not_o one_o drop_n of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n in_o he_o but_o seclude_v christ_n he_o dream_v altogether_o of_o his_o own_o work_n of_o the_o forsake_v of_o his_o good_n of_o his_o affliction_n and_o mortification_n and_o now_o differ_v nothing_o from_o the_o turk_n jew_n or_o papist_n in_o spirit_n or_o in_o heart_n but_o only_o in_o the_o outward_a appearance_n work_n and_o ceremony_n which_o he_o have_v choose_v to_o himself_o the_o same_o confidence_n in_o work_n have_v all_o the_o monk_n and_o other_o religious_a order_n notwithstanding_o in_o their_o apparel_n and_o other_o outward_a thing_n there_o be_v a_o difference_n there_o be_v at_o this_o day_n very_o many_o like_a unto_o these_o which_o notwithstanding_o will_v be_v count_v among_o the_o true_a professor_n and_o teacher_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o as_o touch_v the_o word_n they_o teach_v that_o man_n be_v deliver_v from_o their_o sin_n by_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n but_o because_o they_o teach_v faith_n in_o such_o sort_n that_o they_o attribute_v more_o to_o charity_n then_o to_o faith_n they_o high_o dishonour_v christ_n and_o wicked_o pervert_v his_o word_n for_o they_o dream_v that_o god_n regard_v &_o accept_v we_o for_o our_o charity_n sake_n whereby_o we_o be_v reconcile_v to_o god_n do_v love_n god_n and_o our_o neighbour_n if_o this_o be_v true_a then_o have_v we_o no_o need_n of_o christ_n at_o all_o such_o man_n serve_v not_o the_o true_a god_n but_o a_o idol_n of_o their_o own_o heart_n which_o they_o themselves_o have_v devise_v for_o the_o true_a god_n do_v not_o regard_n or_o accept_v we_o for_o our_o charity_n virtue_n or_o newness_n of_o life_n but_o for_o christ_n sake_n etc_n etc_n but_o they_o make_v this_o objection_n yet_o notwithstanding_o the_o scripture_n command_v that_o we_o shall_v love_v god_n with_o all_o our_o heart_n etc_n etc_n it_o be_v true_a but_o it_o follow_v not_o that_o because_o god_n command_v we_o therefore_o we_o do_v it_o if_o we_o do_v love_n god_n with_o all_o our_o heart_n etc_n etc_n then_o no_o doubt_n we_o shall_v be_v justify_v &_o live_v through_o this_o obedience_n 5_o as_o it_o be_v write_v he_o that_o shall_v do_v these_o thing_n shall_v live_v in_o they_o but_o the_o gospel_n say_v thou_o do_v not_o these_o thing_n therefore_o thou_o shall_v not_o live_v in_o they_o for_o this_o sentence_n thou_o shall_v love_v the_o lord_n thy_o god_n etc_n etc_n require_v a_o perfect_a obedience_n a_o perfect_a fear_n trust_v &_o love_n of_o god_n in_o deed_n this_o they_o know_v not_o as_o it_o may_v be_v that_o i_o know_v some_o man_n by_o sight_n who_o yet_o in_o deed_n i_o know_v not_o thorough_o because_o i_o understand_v not_o what_o affection_n he_o bear_v towards_o i_o so_o man_n know_v natural_o that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n but_o what_o his_o will_n be_v or_o what_o be_v not_o his_o will_n they_o do_v not_o know_v for_o contrary_n be_v very_o strong_a yet_o let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o long_o endure_v according_a to_o that_o say_n of_o the_o prophet_n 54.8_o for_o a_o moment_n in_o my_o effectual_o and_o profound_o as_o concern_v grace_n and_o christian_a liberty_n and_o with_o high_a and_o mighty_a word_n have_v exhort_v the_o galatian_n to_o continue_v in_o the_o same_o for_o it_o sort_n do_v not_o set_v man_n conscience_n at_o liberty_n but_o snare_n and_o entangle_v they_o with_o a_o yoke_n yea_o and_o that_o with_o a_o yoke_n of_o bondage_n he_o speak_v therefore_o of_o the_o law_n very_o base_o and_o contemptuous_o and_o call_v it_o a_o hard_a bondage_n and_o a_o servile_a yoke_n
