they_o shall_v see_v and_o understand_v their_o miserable_a condition_n and_o therefore_o to_o these_o word_n in_o hell_n he_o lift_v up_o his_o eye_n he_o add_v be_v in_o torment_n as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v though_o once_o they_o shut_v their_o eye_n though_o once_o they_o be_v willing_o ignorant_a yet_o when_o they_o depart_v into_o hell_n they_o shall_v be_v so_o miserable_o handle_v and_o torment_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v force_v to_o lift_v up_o their_o eye_n for_o while_o man_n live_v in_o this_o world_n and_o be_v in_o a_o natural_a state_n they_o will_v have_v a_o good_a conceit_n of_o themselves_o and_o of_o their_o condition_n they_o will_v conclude_v that_o they_o be_v christian_n and_o their_o state_n to_o be_v as_o good_a as_o the_o best_a they_o will_v conclude_v they_o have_v faith_n the_o spirit_n good_a hope_n and_o a_o interest_n in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n but_o then_o when_o they_o drop_v into_o hell_n and_o lift_v up_o their_o eye_n there_o and_o behold_v first_o their_o soul_n to_o be_v in_o extreme_a torment_n their_o dwelling_n to_o be_v the_o bottomless_a pit_n their_o company_n thousand_o of_o damn_a soul_n also_o the_o innumerable_a company_n of_o devil_n and_o the_o hot_a scald_a vengeance_n of_o god_n not_o only_o to_o drop_v but_o to_o fall_v very_o violent_o upon_o they_o then_o they_o will_v begin_v to_o be_v awaken_v who_o all_o their_o life_n time_n be_v in_o a_o dead_a sleep_n i_o say_v when_o this_o come_v to_o pass_v lo_o it_o will_v then_o in_o hell_n they_o shall_v lift_v up_o their_o eye_n in_o shall_v have_v the_o guilt_n of_o they_o all_o lie_v heavy_a on_o thy_o soul_n not_o only_o the_o guilt_n of_o one_o or_o two_o but_o the_o guilt_n of_o they_o all_o together_o and_o there_o they_o shall_v lie_v in_o thy_o soul_n as_o if_o thy_o belly_n be_v full_a of_o pitch_n and_o set_v on_o a_o light_a fire_n now_o here_o man_n can_v sometime_o think_v on_o their_o sin_n with_o delight_n light_n he_o that_o be_v in_o everlasting_a joy_n or_o he_o that_o be_v in_o everlasting_a torment_n the_o one_o with_o god_n christ_n saint_n angel_n the_o other_o in_o torment_a flame_n under_o the_o curse_n of_o god_n eternal_a hatred_n with_o the_o devil_n and_o their_o angel_n together_o with_o a_o innumerable_a company_n of_o howl_v roar_a curse_a ever_o burn_a reprobate_n certain_o this_o observation_n will_v be_v easy_o prove_v to_o be_v true_a here_o in_o this_o world_n by_o he_o that_o look_v upon_o it_o with_o a_o understand_a heart_n and_o will_v clear_v itself_o to_o be_v true_a in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v by_o such_o as_o shall_v go_v either_o to_o heaven_n or_o to_o hell_n 2._o the_o second_o observation_n from_o these_o word_n and_o see_v abraham_n afar_o off_o and_o lazarus_n in_o his_o bosom_n be_v this_o they_o that_o be_v the_o persecutor_n of_o the_o saint_n of_o the_o lord_n now_o in_o this_o world_n shall_v see_v the_o lord_n persecute_v once_o to_o be_v they_o that_o be_v so_o high_o esteem_v by_o the_o lord_n as_o to_o sit_v or_o to_o be_v in_o abraham_n bosom_n in_o everlasting_a glory_n though_o they_o the_o enemy_n to_o the_o child_n of_o the_o halter_n be_v about_o his_o neck_n as_o thou_o will_v turn_v from_o god_n to_o the_o devil_n from_o heaven_n to_o hell_n when_o the_o sentence_n be_v pass_v upon_o thy_o soul_n oh_o how_o will_v thou_o sigh_v and_o groan_n oh_o how_o willing_o will_v thou_o hide_v thyself_o and_o run_v away_o from_o justice_n but_o alas_o as_o it_o be_v with_o they_o that_o be_v on_o the_o ladder_n ready_a to_o be_v execute_v so_o it_o will_v be_v with_o thou_o alas_o they_o will_v fain_o run_v away_o but_o there_o be_v many_o halberd-man_n to_o stay_v they_o and_o so_o the_o power_n of_o god_n will_v
