meditation_n namely_o to_o consider_v how_o rich_a and_o stately_a a_o thing_n it_o be_v to_o be_v a_o heir_n of_o glory_n and_o this_o indeed_o must_v needs_o be_v the_o most_o high_a and_o transcendent_a privilege_n of_o all_o that_o can_v be_v bestow_v upon_o the_o child_n of_o man_n who_o be_v by_o nature_n child_n of_o wrath_n and_o in_o bondage_n to_o sin_n death_n and_o damnation_n be_v by_o grace_n bring_v to_o this_o most_o bless_a estate_n of_o change_a sin_n into_o righteousness_n death_n into_o life_n and_o hell_n and_o damnation_n into_o heaven_n and_o glory_n and_o how_o come_v this_o bless_a work_n to_o be_v effect_v for_o we_o most_o unworthy_a wretch_n but_o only_o by_o that_o most_o bless_a saviour_n and_o redeemer_n of_o we_o god_n in_o the_o flesh_n manifest_v who_o bring_v we_o up_o the_o first_o step_n of_o these_o our_o meditation_n and_o so_o from_o step_n to_o step_v all_o along_o to_o this_o the_o high_a of_o heavenly_a glory_n for_o he_o be_v the_o only_a natural_a son_n of_o god_n and_o thereby_o the_o only_a proper_a and_o immediate_a heir_n to_o that_o bless_a inheritance_n whereunto_o he_o have_v a_o twofold_a right_n one_o by_o his_o eternal_a generation_n and_o so_o he_o be_v the_o heir_n of_o his_o father_n kingdom_n in_o a_o manner_n proper_a and_o peculiar_a to_o himself_o alone_o the_o other_o right_o he_o have_v by_o purchase_n for_o by_o the_o merit_n of_o his_o precious_a death_n and_o passion_n he_o have_v purchase_v eternal_a liâ—e_z for_o all_o the_o member_n of_o his_o church_n who_o have_v espouse_v unto_o himself_o by_o grace_n we_o also_o by_o that_o â—lessed_a union_n with_o he_o become_v heir_n annex_v with_o he_o of_o the_o same_o glory_n in_o the_o first_o right_n he_o can_v admit_v no_o companion_n in_o the_o second_o all_o the_o member_n of_o his_o mystical_a body_n be_v make_v partaker_n with_o he_o o_o my_o soul_n what_o shall_v we_o say_v to_o this_o transcendent_a dignity_n of_o all_o true_o penitent_a believer_n but_o as_o the_o psalmist_n say_v psalm_n 87.3_o glorious_a thing_n be_v speak_v of_o thou_o o_o thou_o city_n of_o god_n so_o may_v we_o say_v of_o every_o citizen_n of_o the_o holy_a city_n new_a jerusalem_n the_o lamb_n wife_n rev._n 21.3_o for_o god_n will_v dwell_v with_o they_o and_o they_o shall_v be_v his_o people_n and_o god_n himself_o shall_v one_o of_o they_o for_o the_o rich_a portion_n of_o one_o shall_v be_v no_o prejudice_n to_o another_o but_o every_o one_o shall_v be_v fill_v with_o the_o fullness_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n but_o withal_o we_o be_v to_o observe_v that_o howsoever_o in_o earthly_a inheritance_n the_o father_n must_v first_o die_v before_o the_o son_n come_v to_o the_o full_a possession_n thereof_o yet_o for_o this_o heavenly_a inheritance_n we_o ourselves_o must_v first_o die_v that_o we_o may_v possess_v the_o same_o for_o our_o father_n be_v the_o ancient_a of_o day_n the_o heaven_n be_v the_o
