of_o salvation_n now_o this_o be_v necessary_a to_o be_v observe_v to_o manifest_v the_o falsity_n of_o that_o distinction_n coin_v in_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n between_o mediator_n of_o redemption_n and_o intercession_n whereby_o to_o maintain_v the_o invocation_n of_o saint_n and_o angel_n who_o may_v therefore_o say_v they_o be_v pray_v unto_o because_o they_o intercede_v to_o god_n for_o we_o but_o suppose_v they_o do_v pray_v for_o we_o which_o yet_o we_o be_v not_o absolute_o certain_a of_o the_o scripture_n have_v no_o where_n tell_v we_o so_o and_o the_o great_a service_n of_o glorified_a saint_n consist_v rather_o in_o anthem_n of_o praise_n than_o in_o request_n and_o prayer_n but_o allow_v that_o they_o do_v pray_v for_o we_o as_o a_o effect_n of_o their_o charity_n which_o we_o know_v remain_v there_o and_o be_v no_o doubt_n in_o a_o high_a measure_n extend_v to_o the_o member_n of_o the_o church_n militant_a yet_o that_o may_v be_v do_v with_o relation_n to_o the_o state_n of_o the_o church_n in_o general_n who_o welfare_n they_o wish_v and_o pray_v for_o as_o a_o expression_n of_o their_o charity_n not_o as_o a_o act_n of_o their_o office_n to_o supplicate_v for_o particular_a person_n for_o where_o be_v they_o authorize_v to_o such_o a_o office_n or_o can_v we_o imagine_v they_o to_o run_v before_o they_o be_v send_v as_o some_o in_o the_o church_n militant_a do_v or_o take_v to_o themselves_o that_o honour_n without_o be_v call_v of_o god_n without_o a_o special_a designation_n to_o such_o a_o high_a employment_n no_o sure_o it_o be_v part_n of_o their_o glory_n and_o the_o great_a matter_n of_o their_o joy_n to_o behold_v their_o saviour_n fulfil_v that_o last_o act_n of_o his_o priesthood_n in_o heaven_n who_o
